Daniel was responsive, professional, and just a really thoughtful and friendly person. He worked across a variety of half century old locks in our home, fixed where it was possible and replaced where it was not. He even ordered a specific part to fix a beautiful old brass lock on our front door and came back to complete the work. He was honest, careful, and we look forward to working with him again!

    A-A Lock
I needed a locksmith to change the lock on our kitchen door because I lost our only key! I found A-A Lock on Angie's List and was very impressed by the great reviews. When I called to make the appointment, I explained that it was very important for me to have an early appointment and that the person assigned to my job would have to be on time; I wanted the locksmith to be finished with his work before my husband woke up; he has Alzheimer's Disease and becomes very agitated when strangers are in the house. The receptionist assured me that the technician would be on time, and yes, he was on time, exactly at 8:00 AM!! I was so happy and impressed! Abe, the technician, was gracious, considerate, competent and most certainly punctual. I highly recommend A-A Lock!

This was an unbelievable experience. In the end I got nothing for my money except anger and frustration. Bait and switch. I bought a service on Angie's list and it took them 5 months to set a date. They didn't return my calls. Finally, when we set a date, John, a CROOK, told me the job would cost an additional $495 to $795. But the workman said he could do it in the 2 hours. It's just that he goofed around, talked to his boss on the phone, hadn't even started after 45 minutes. TERRIBLE experience.
I'm so ashamed of Angie's List for allowing this kind of person to advertise. Check Yelp. My experience was typical. Why isn't Angie doing something about this?  I'll never use Angie's List again. They do not even pretend to check out their providers.

I can't recommend Ben highly enough. I called him on a Saturday afternoon telling him our front door would not lock. He came out first thing Sunday morning - very early to accommodate our busy schedule. He was on time, he was professional, kind and promptly fixed the problem. His rate was very reasonable.

Great! I had some locks to be installed/rekeyed. I got a quote for the work over the phone when setting up the appointment. The team was able to work with my schedule in setting up an appointment. Ben showed up, assessed the situation -- I decided I'd like to have some of my other locks rekeyed to match and he added that into the work order. He then got to work, was done in 30-45 minutes for everything. Very easy. Paid on the spot and am very pleased with the work.

Initally i was pleasantly surprised by the immediate response and quick appointment scheduled the same day. However, he arrived over an hour late and did not finish until past 10pm which caught me off guard and i did not get an estimate (which I usually do). His work took 1.5 hours to adjust 3 strike plates, drill a small hole through a fiberglass door and look at a file cabinet that I wanted keyed. He charged me the price to "install a lock" when all I needed him to do was drill a small hole in a door in which a working lock already existed and was functioning. Because he didn't have the proper equipment to make the file cabinet key, he had to schedule a second visit. The second visit was scheduled pretty quickly but when he did not show up over 2 hours late, i had to call him and then reschedule a third visit. He was again running late but at least this time he called. When I questioned him about the charges, his answer was each time that "that is the standard charge". Overall, the locks work fine, but was in my opinion, was overpriced ($360 for 1.5 hours of work). If you decide to use them, I would recommend that you get an estimate first, and then be prepared to wait around for the guy to show up.

Outstanding quality of service, exceeded my expectations.  Made adjustments to door plates to more smoothly turn locks.  Provided lots of helpful advice.  Very thorough and professional.

    A-A Lock
I have used them on and off for years now. They are very professional and they know what they are doing. They are a little expensive, but they are very reliable. If you need to get something done well and in a timely fashion, you can really rely on them. They are qualified. The last time they came out, it was during a weekend and it was night time. I have been using them for 20 years now. Ill use them again in the future.

I think that he is mobile; you can call him and he will come out. I think he also has a small shop. I have used him for years. He came out to fix a lock at my mother?s place. She had also lost her car key. So, he did the car key, while he was there. He is easy-going. He has been in business since 1970?s. I just love him. I send him to all my tenants. He even helped my sister, when she got locked out of her house. He went and let her in. He has a New York accent. He is very pleasant and very qualified. He knows the advanced lock systems. He is very good at dealing with my tenants. He is very funny and charming. He really knows his stuff. Since I have a lot of rental units, I have used him on several occasions over the years. The tenants are very comfortable with him. He gives them what they need, but he always makes sure to ask me first about the charges.

    Babcock & Son Security Corp
Had a roommate that move-out and was still coming to the house when I was out. I called Babcock to re-key the house because they had re-keyed the house when I moved-in 3-years before (at my realtor's suggestion). They were out the same day. In the discussion about what I was trying to accomplish, they explained how houses were broken into and suggested deadbolts (while apologizing for it sounding like an up-sell tactic). They went to the shop to find locksets that matched existing hardware metal/color and were done in 2-hours. They even vacuumed up carefully to make sure none of the wood shaving was left on the floor. Babcock was once again performed very nice, professional, clean work.
