    Cools Custom Remodeling Inc
We came home from vacation last April and noticed some dark spots on the hardwood floor in our master bedroomnear the wall shared with the master showernot good. After some initial exploration, we found that a malfunctioning shower valve had been leaking into the wall cavity for about 5 years lots of mold, rotted studs, subfloor issues, a shower that needed to be completely replaced, along with hardwood flooring in the bedroom. You would think that it would be relatively easy to find a contractor to do this work, but its not. Many of the people we contacted just said, no, we dont do water damage. Others thought that the job was too small. Others would do it, but wouldnt give a firm quote and wanted to charge an outrageous exploration fee. Enter Cools Custom Remodeling. From the start, they worked to get our business and treated it as a partnership. Yes, they admitted it was a smaller job for them, but they never made us feel that it was any less important. We had an open line of communication and we always knew where things stood. We had a lot of stops, starts, and delays on the job as we were trying to match specific tile (some of it custom-made) and flooring (and did I mention that were sort of super-picky?). They hung in there. If we werent 100% satisfied with something, they came back and worked on it until we were. We moved back into our master suite last weekend and the whole thing looks beautiful just like the disaster never happened. Cools Custom gave us all you can ask for in a contractor: fair prices, good communication, quality workmanship, and willingness to meet expectations. I would recommend them for any job, large or small.

    Evolve Construction
From the first day we talked with them about the project, they were straightforward and professional. They listened to us and communicated seamlessly with us. Evolve's team clearly laid out the project scope, budget and timeline of the project. During the remodel, our site supervisor made the project so easy! He kept us well informed and the project was completed on time and on budget. We love the work they did to our current home. I would highly recommend Evolve Construction.

It went much better than I anticipated  The provider developed a good rapport with the city inspectors he was able to schedule inspections very quickly (sometimes over the holidays as well). Whenever we faced any hurdles, he would come up with quick solutions.  For instance, we had an issue with rerouting sewer lateral and the provider found a work around and quickly worked with the city to get the approval and make forward progress.  Being a structural engineer, the provider has a lot of insight into what is needed and what is not structurally and it was very useful to me when the structure was coming up.

    Sunwest Painting
This was an angie’s list purchase of 8 hours of work for 1449. Me main purpose was to repair heat damaged ceiling sheet rock full subsequent installation of new led canned light. Jose got the job done in about in about 4 hours- so we added painting in the bathroom.

    Happy To Fix It Handyman
Norm showed up on time, every time.  He completed all work impeccably.  He had an issue with the material he used to repair the woodwork which resulted in him needing to spend much more time than he estimated and he didn't charge me at all for the work because of the inconvenience.  I will definitely have him come back and I highly recommend him.

    R & S Handyman Service
He was able to come out the same day to my surprise. He was flexible in his time and repaired a couple small things which I just added last minute. He was nice, thorough and knowledgable. However, I was not aware he had a minimum hour charge and he charges for the time it took to drive to my property. I was happy he was able to perform the work so quickly when other contractors were giving me estimates of 2 or more weeks out.

    HARRELL REMODELING
We picked Harrell Remodeling because of their reputation and philosophy, knowing that they are very expensive. What a disappointment! We ended up spending a shockingly large amount for what we got. The designer assigned to us didn?t seem to like the house or want to spend any time doing design work. He was unwilling to help us define the scope of the work or understand our design style. We ended up picking out most everything ourselves, which was not what we wanted. Not all the repairs were successfully completed?they could not fix a squeaky floor, did not replace a broken fan as specified, and installed new garage side doors that leak in the rain. After various attempts at fixes over seven months we have given up on Harrell to fix doors and to install track lighting that does not produce a large amount of radio interference. There were more problems; this is just a sample. We?ve built three houses in the past and know that there are always problems, but we were very surprised at the extent of the problems and how poorly Harrell performed on our project.

The electrician was doing LED lighting for the first time and due to some quality issues with the LED lighting only one rail worked. They did a good job with what they were given. Very professional the whole time.

    GoodFellas Construction Bay Area
Nathan came over to give me a bid to do a 500 square feet lattice patio for my
backyard and a outdoor kitchen bbq area including a gas grill, countertop and
stone veneer unfortunately, the city code required my new  outdoor grilling
space to be 5 feet away from my neighbors so we could not proceed with the
project we had him come out for.
Due to these issues with the
city Goodfellas could not proceed withthe project. However due to Nathan?s
professionalism and knowledge I knew he was the project manager for me for my
interior home, even though, the projects were small I am a very detail oriented
person , and Nathan met all my standards that I was hoping to find in a
contractor, great communication, always on time, answers via text and phone
calls in a matter of minutes and really gave me a great experience; I have
worked with other contractors before but I will def be using Nathan and
GoodFellas Construction for future projects and I highly recommend to have
    Nathan as your project manager

    SOD Home Group
Each craftsman that was sent to the house was knowledgeable, polite and completed their task as promised. The maple floors are beautiful and all painting meticulous.  The tile was a little tricky as we replaced the trim tiles only.  This meant the tiles needed to be carefully removed to avoid breaking the remaining tile.  Before re-grouting, he took the extra care needed to remove and prep the existing grout.
We are more than pleased with their work and would use them again.
