Acupuncture Treatment reviews in Meadow Vista

    Sakura Acupuncture
It continues to go great at each session!  I highly recommend her to anyone asking for acupuncture services, and it can cure a lot more than people realize.  Emiko is an amazing practitioner and studies regularly to always get the latest updates on technique improvements and additions. Her office is impeccably clean and relaxing to ensure a positive treatment experience each time.  It is extremely effective for me and allows me to opt NOT to do surgery or PT, as all my western doctors have recommended in the past - all at a much lower price too!

    Miles, Dr. Roberts L.
I began experiencing severe lower back and neck pain. Had Xrays and an MRI. Diagnosis was bulging discs along with degenerative disc disease. Tried physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, etc. to ease the pain as I waited for the bulging discs to heal. The acupuncture experience at the office of Dr. MIles Roberts was a totally positive one. Dr. Roberts, his wife and his office staff are all very pleasant and very professional. The office at 3504 Walnut in Carmichael, CA, is very clean and attractive. Dr. Roberts studied in Japan and is very knowledgable in his field. He uses only disposable needles. He is very communicative, working to target his patient's specific problems and evaluate the effectiveness of the treatments. I beleive that the acupuncture was very helpful in relieving my pain. I would very highly recommend Dr. Roberts to anyone wanting to try acupuncture as a treatment for whatever problem he or she is dealing with.

    Tahara, Michele
Michele is treating  me for Menieures syndrome and between the acupuncture and herbs my episodes have reduced in intensity and the time between episodes has increased.  Her calm presence and knowledge are impressive.  She is somewhat difficult to connect with as she does not have a receptionist and is quite busy.

    Daihachi Yamazaki, Ph.D., L.Ac.
He treats a variety of ailments. I have had great success in pain relief with lower back and neck pain. He's extremely gentle. You don't even know you're getting pinned. He explains each step of the process. He is extremely knowledgeable and a very caring individual. The location isn't the prettiest but it is clean and affordable.

    Vivian Huang
I've been using Vivian's services for about two or three years, and I'm extremely happy with her.  Her office is easily accessible and clean, she's been very effective at alleviating my pain, and she has a friendly yet professional demeanor.  Furthermore, she's an eighth-generation acupuncturist, and she was even a surgical oncologist in China.  However, she can't bear the distinction of "doctor" since she isn't licensed as one in America.

She is very down to earth and she helped me greatly with my allergies. Before she starts any type of treatment she asks a lot of questions and makes you comfortable.

    Du, Dr. Jean D.
I've seen various acupuncturists, but Jean is the best of all. In 2010, I developed carpal tunnel from work, I went in for several treatments and it went away...I do not suffer from this anymore. During that time, I went to try another acupuncturist just to see how it was, their setting was a spa-like clean setting, but the effectiveness wasn't all that great. Jean would massage my arm, then perform the acupuncture, then another massage afterwards- if she wasn't too busy. My carpel tunnel completely went away, thanks to Jean! In 2012, I became pregnant and was suffering from lower-back problems, sciatica, restless leg syndrome (leg soreness, muscle spasms) due to my pregnancy. This started when I was about 6-7 months. After not being able to sleep for 3 weeks due to my leg pain and discomfort, I read in my "What Do You Expect When You're Expecting" pregnancy book recommended that I could get acupuncture for my leg and lower back issues because NOTHING else was working. I called Jean and she performed the acupunture, that same night I was able to sleep, I was extremely happy and excited, it was a MIRACLE for me, I bragged to all my coworkers telling then how much it worked. The experience is so nice...again- she plays nice background music, she massages my legs, disinfects w/ alcohol cotton ball, puts in the tiny needles (doesn't hurt at all, just feels like a quick pinch), then she turns on these heat lamps on my legs and feet and another on my back--gosh I would fall asleep! The needles would stay about 15-20 mins, then she would come back and take them about, then place new needles on my other side of my leg if necessary, then afterwards she would massage me again if she isn't too busy. Then as my baby grew bigger and bigger, he was getting heavier and heavier- I felt that I needed to go more often. One night, I couldnt sleep at all b/c of my sciatica, so I tried to make an appt, but Jean had a cold and she didn't want to get me sick. I was deperate so I made an appt w/ a different acupuncture office in midtown, again this new place smelled really nice and it was a nice spa-looking place, but the effectiveness of treatment wasn't great at all, also the way she put in the needles hurt me too, to me it was a waste of money. After Jean got better, I went in, and found relief. She is the best! Aracely
