    Nishio, Dr. Midori J.
She's a stricter type of doctor but I like her. She wants a lot of information and checks a lot of things. She's very smart and was recommended by another doctor of mine. I'm particular about my doctor but I would recommend her.

I've been a patient of Dr. Weisner since 1987 and he has provided extremely excellent care. He is very knowledgeable and caring. When I first saw him, my rheumatoid arthritis was out of control and I suffered constant pain. He worked tirelessly to find the right combination of medicines to control the disease and I've been living a new life now with treatment that controls the disease. He is careful to make sure I always followup with timely lab work to monitor any affects of the medicines and constantly checks to make sure nothing new is developing. I like Dr. Weisner not only for his professional expertise, but especially because he remembers the details about me so I don't feel like I am just another patient, but someone he really cares about. He has a good sense of humor. His appointment scheduling could be better, but, it is getting better and the wait time in the waiting room is improving. I consider him to be my hero because he gave me back my life where I can actually enjoy doing things and I'm not just enduring pain like I used to.

I would give him the highest rating possible. I think he is brilliant and passionate. He provides help for all his patients in the most natural way possible. I can't say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend him.

I have been treated at this very unassuming little clinic for 1 1/2+ years. They are (almost literally) a lifesaver for anyone battling autoimmune disorders, particularly Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Inflammatory Response issues. Patients are coming from across the U S and around the world for help because of the pioneering, successful work done here. They maintain an extraordinary commitment to finding answers to their patients' health problems. Because of their treatment protocol, I have been able to return to work. Appointments are consultative and each patient has an individualized treatment plan. I recommend Dr. Powell, especially to those whose lives are adversely impacted by Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue.

I've been going here for about 20 years. I like the doctors that I have there. The doctors pay attention to me and don't push me in and out. I've have excellent care from them. I've had surgery on my knee and a knee replacement and I have been happy with them. I also see a rheumatologist for a chronic pain condition and I've have great luck with him too. They have a brand new office. I hardly ever have to wait, which is rare. I also see them for ophthalmology and another doctor for ulcers.

I saw Dr. Powell or his PA for approximately 1 year. The appointments were 1-2 months apart. Dr. Powell bases much of his treatment on evidence based on patients he has treated. He is a firm believer that much of what is wrong with the body is being out of balance. His initial visit of me included a complete review of my medical history, medicines being taken, and a complete physical. Subsequent visits has weight, temp, heart rate, and blood pressure monitored. I completed a form at the beginning of each visit giving him an update of my status, including pain levels. He did not examine me. On my initial visit he gave requested that I have a number of very special tests done. When I had the blood drawn 13 viles of blood were needed!!!! Fortunately my insurance paid for it all as it was about $700 in lab work. He did not discuss the price of it, though I did not ask either. His treatment was based on the test results. Two of the medications I was prescribed could only be obtained from a Compounding Pharmacy and were not covered by my insurance. The rest of the treatment consisted of supplements of all sorts. It was not always clear what the supplements were to do. While Dr. Powell and his staff were always pleasant, in the end I felt as if the treatment was not having a positive impact on my life and it was time to move on. The treatment results very a great wal from patient to patient. what works for one person, does not always work for the next person. So while I will not be returning, I do feel he is an option a person should look at for the treatment of their fibro. At least he offers something other than here, take this pill.
