    Phelan, Dr. Timothy E
He has excellent bedside manners and he always answers my questions in a timely manner. I get almost immediate answers from the staff when I call in with any questions. The staff was very helpful too. I immediately connect with Dr. Phelan who is very patient and friendly. He listens very well and is very attentive to my needs. I never felt like I was rushed when I was in there.

    Kevin Elliott MD
On January 11th I got the news that my biopsy had come back positive. My OB/GYN referred me to Dr. Elliott for further review. Dr. Elliott was able to get me in by January 17th and had me go for an ultrasound prior to the appointment date so we could review it at that time. On my first visit he did an exam and then ordered a PET/CT scan. He spent lots of time with us, going over all the possibilities and courses of action to consider. When the scan came back showing the cancer had not metastasized, my first inclination was to have a hysterectomy and get the cancer out, but he advised otherwise. We were doubtful about his advice, so he urged us to seek other opinions and referred me to a radiation oncologist for another exam and further discussion. In the end, I saw the logic of his advice and opted for chemo and radiation without surgery. He was right. The chemo and radiation seems to have done the trick. Of course, I have to pass the five-year mark before we can call it cured, but so far so good. It was a long, hard road, to be sure, but better that I didn't subject my body to the additional risk and stress of surgery. Throughout this ordeal, Dr. Elliott has been a pleasure to work with. He has a great sense of humor and appears to read his patients well with regard to how funny or how sensitive to be with them. He's also very knowledgeable and highly skilled. I'm supposed to continue under the care of my gyno-oncologist and my radiation-oncologist for the rest of my life. In spite of the circumstances, we will be pleased to see him each time.

    Sutter Roseville Medical Center
I will give him A's on everything. I only pay the co-pay of 10 dollars so I don't know what his charges are. I would use this practice in future.

    Leon, Dr. Margarita M
I knew something was wrong, and my normal doctor couldn't see me for another month, so I called around and found that Dr. Leon could get me in within a couple of days. I saw some questionable reviews in various places on the web, but they seemed to be primarily about the staff*, not the doctor, so I thought I'd give her a try. The waiting is sparsely decorated, but clean. I was immediately helped at the front desk - given forms to complete. The woman at the desk took my insurance card and, very helpfully, called to confirm coverage. After completing the forms, I waited only a few minutes before being called. Urine sample given, I was weighed and then shown to an exam room. I was cold, but the room had a space heater that made it pretty cozy. My BP was taken, then I waited again for about 4 or 5 minutes before Dr. Leon entered. We discussed my situation, then she did the standard exam - listened to my heart, felt my glands, etc. That done, she went in for a Pap. She immediately saw there was something else going on, so decided to do a biopsy right then. I'm so glad she did - the diagnosis came back a week later: cancer. Delivering such news can never be easy, but Dr. Leon did it as kindly, compassionately and gracefully as anyone could expect. She patiently explained everything to me and then referred me to a gynecological oncologist. She ended the meeting with a hug. I haven't seen the specialist yet, but whatever I do find out next, I'm really glad she didn't waste any time. She got that biopsy done on the first visit. Dr. Leon gets an A+ in my book for her professionalism and bedside manner. What a sweet woman! * PS, No complaints at all so far about any of her staff, either!

    Burman, Dr. Michael H
Dr. Burman was not our primary OBG doctor, but he was the one that helped delivered our son on March 15, 2007. At first, we did not feel comfortable without our primary doctor, but Dr. Burman put our mind at ease. He has great bedside manner and is very knowledge. Although we have come complications with the deliver, Dr. Burman was there to help us through them. We are very happy when our son was delivered successfully after 8 hours of labor.

    Matthew Guile MD
Dr. Guile took a thorough health history, listened to my complaint, and my thoughts about my current health situation. He was very considerate, professional, and compassionate. He had concerns about some of my lab tests and encouraged me to seek additional medical advice from a kidney specialist. I'm not terribly excited to be needing so much medical attention recently, but I am very glad to have found such a capable and caring OB/GYN.

    Sutter Medical Foundation OBG
This is a fabulous group of doctors. I delivered my first baby naturally (and with no drugs) despite some late potential complications, and the doctors and especially the nurses were extremely supportive. Even though I've since moved farther away, I am seeing this group again for my current pregnancy. Another great part about this group is that they run on time nearly always! How rare to not have to wait an extra 30-60 minutes too see your doctor!!
