Kristal Freeman just completed a wide variety of work at our house - on time, beautifully and professionally done, and under estimate. The work was impeccable but best of all, we really liked Kristal and Leslie. They are a lot of fun to have around - pleasant, interesting, and intelligent. We recommend them. Jobs well done!

Terrible!!! JUST moved into a Brand New home. It could have been installed where I wanted it, but they chose the easier route. I said ok. Everything seemed to go well, but the next morning I walked into the garage and a fitting had cracked, flooding the front portion of the garage (about 3' in, all the way across) ruining the drywall and house sprinkler alarm box in the wall, next to it. The way the water sprayed, it eroded the drywall down to the stud inside the wal!! They admitted to possibly overtightening the fitting, if it wasn't faulty. They had to come out three times to get it finished. And, of course all the repairs were on them. They did good work, but for a newly constructed home, it doesn't look like it never happened, which is what I expected when it was completely done. I must say though, they are the most polite, friendly and professional crews that I've ever encountered. But because of my unfortunate experience, they're not invited back. Sorry!

Like normal, Swihart Electrical is very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Chris evaluates the job and gives you a reasonable estimate and is very flexible on arranging his time to get the job done. Swihart Electrical gets the job done and done right! We have other projects planned for the future and we will not hesitate to use Swihart Electrical again.

In the late spring of 2014, I contacted 5 different pool companies doing business in the greater Sacramento area about the renovation and replastering project in my 20' x 40? inground gunnite pool. This pool was a real mess and had not had water, except rainwater, in it for 11 years. The quotes that I got varied by almost $10,000 for the same work, the highest one being almost $25,000.
One of the calls that I made was to Generation Pool Plastering. I talked to Valentino, the owner of Generation Pool Plastering. He told me that if I could wait until the winter to do the project when they weren?t so busy, he could give me a better price. So, I waited until November and sent Valentino an email telling him that I was ready to get the pool project underway and asked him to give me a bid. Valentino came and looked at the pool within a few days. His bid was roughly 40% lower than the average of the bids that I got in the spring.
We exchanged a few emails and agreed on a written contract describing the scope of the work, the new equipment, the new tile all around, quartz based plaster, converting the spa to a shallow seating area, new colored led pool light, prices, etc.
Within a week of making our agreement, the Generation Pool Plastering crew was at my house and began the dirty job of pumping out the old black rainwater, removing the old equipment, removing the old tile, reducing the wall between the pool and spa, filling in the old spa with concrete, sand blasting the old plaster and applying a bonding coat to the new surface. Once that was done, the plumber/electrician came and set the new equipment and color pool light and pressure checked all the pipes for leaks. Next came the new waterline tile and border line tile on the steps and swimouts. Lastly, came the whole crew (about 12 guys) to do the actual plastering.
The entire project was done in a most polite, expedient and professional manner. I am very happy with the result,  the fair, honest pricing and the professional way they went about this project without delay, step by step until the job was done.  Valentino was very easy to work with and could give lessons to other contractors,  and small businessmen of all kinds, in how to communicate with your customers. We communicated by email, text and telephone. For example, several times i sent texts or emails to Valentino between 9pm and 10pm thinking that he would answer the next day. Instead, I would get a written reply or telephone call within 10 minutes regardless of the time.
As an attorney in my 40th year of practicing law, I have had a lot of experience seeing good and bad, careful and negligent, serious and phony people and businessmen. Based on my experience with Valentino and Generation Pool Plastering, I can recommend him without hesitation as one of the good guys who takes pride in the quality of his work, will treat you fairly and do a good job.

Floyd and his team did a very high quality job which included texturing several holes which had been repaired in the sheet rock.  I also asked him to paint the facia boards on the exterior of the home and touch up the front door. He repainted the entire front door and the gutters at no extra charge.   I was impressed with his follow-through, punctuality, and professionalism.  I would definitely use M.D. painting again.

The electrical wiring was done incorrectly and would not pass inspection. The owner, Steve Sovenski, then charged me to to pull the incorrect wire and install the "correct" wire. He also incorrectly added a 100amp electrical sub-panel off of a 125amp main panel that he cut into the stucco siding to install.According to the building inspector and an electrician, all the wiring and the panel were installed incorrectly. It will cost me a minimum of $1500.00 to have the wiring fixed. This doesn't include the stucco repair and drywalling. None of the work I paid for has been completed and all permits are still outstanding.

My kitchen is still back to the studs. I had to install a utility tub -- liked you'd use in your garage -- to use for a kitchen sink and my counter is a hollow core door. I have recently learned that a handyman cannot "bid" jobs and they cannot charge more than $500.00 per day.

Mr. Sovenski bid the job and charged me more then the daily rate allowed.Mr. Sovenski has ignored my requests to refund the money and/or correct the problems. When he did finally answer a text message, he told me about the trip he took to the Bahamas. I am in the process of completing the necessary paperwork to sue him in small claims.

COMPANY WAS VERY DEPENDABLE. THEY WERE WORKING AT SCHEDULED TIMES. QUICK WORKERS, KNOWING THAT WE WANTED OUR HOUSE BACK, NOT UNDER CONSTRUCTION. THAT WAS A VERY DUSTY JOB. THEY PUT UP PLASTIC WRAP TO BLOCK THE DUST FROM GOING TO OTHER PARTS OF THE HOUSE. THOUGHT WAS VERY NICE THEY WERE CONSIDERATE, HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. RECENTLY MOVED TO CALIFORNIA, BUT IF WE WERE STILL IN THE AREA WE WOULD HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
