  • They did a good job. I was really concerned because we had moved from Japan to Marina and my dog was in the process of getting heartworm treatment in Japan. They really stepped up and picked up the ball that I had to drop due to our move. They were able to take care of my pet and finish his heartworm treatment and get him back to a healthy state. The pricing was a little high for what they did. I did try to get pet insurance to try to subsidize the cost but unfortunately it was a pay first and then they would reimburse me after the fact. It was just too much of a financial burden for me. I will probably not use them again because of the cost.

  • Got the cat when my sister passed away, and he was/is on his last legs. In human years, he's about 100. Vet and assistant came and knocked him out and gave him a complete work-over. He found things wrong and rectified them. He was very no-nonsense and honest. It's obvious that he knows what he's doing, and is an intelligent fellow. His concern for the animal's well-being was also clear. His treatment of the cat was as gentle as possible without compromising the cat's needs.
I've already called him a second time, and will certainly call him again. Dr. Claghorn is -exactly- the kind of vet I'd hoped to find, and I happily give him my highest recommendation.

  • Overall, I think that the vet was well intentioned, however, I walked out VERY dissatisfied and will not be bringing my pets back there. I had adopted a kitten from a rescue agency and chose to take her to this vet as it is close to my house. When the Vet walked in, she talked to me as if I have never owned a cat/kitten (I have owned cats my whole life), and didn't stop talking long enough to let me inform her that I actually knew how to deal with a kitten. IN addition, she spent most of the time trying to convince me to run what I feel are unnecessary tests on a perfectly healthy 2 month old kitten. I ended up walking out of the (free) appointment $60.00 in the hole as only the office visit was waived. I was charged for something silly (I don't remember what at this point). Oh, and even though I did not consent to any tests to check the health of my kitten, she is still alive and is, surprise, healthy!

  • The doctors and staff at Marina Pet Hospital ensured me that my dog would make a full recovery. Unfortunately due to the nature and timing of the treatment I had to have two different doctors administer the medication to my dog. This proved to be confusing as one doctor stated one way of dealing with the treatment and recovery while the second doctor completely countermanded the first, thus making taking care of my dog a little more than confusing. Other than the confusion, the services and demeanor of the staff and doctors was more than appreciated. My dog is still in recovery but he is doing very well.

  • Dr. Mulder is very thorough and thoughtful in researching possible symptoms before reaching an informed diagnosis. She evaluated each test before progressing to the next test and I was very appreciative of her final prognosis. I knew that Dr. Mulder had checked every avenue before making the diagnosis.

  • We have been going to Center Animal Hospital for about 17 years. Our primary vet is Dr. Mulder. She is caring and very knowledgeable about dogs.

  • The clinic is inexpensive, no extra costs and reasonable medicine fees. They made sure to give us advice on how to avoid the dog getting the same problem again.
