    Terrible. Absolutely the worst overall contractor experience I've ever had. Look at other negative reviews and you'll discover that when things go wrong Terri shouts at you and questions your character. Unlike what they say on their web site, any warranties are limited to parts - labor and repair warranty seemed to be disappear once they had my money. As I said on Yelp: They tried to fix my AC, took 4.5 hrs for what I later discovered was a 1 hr repair. The AC stopped working after a day. I contacted them and they said (over text): "Our business is concluded please find another HVAC company" My subsequent contact resulted in the insults by Terri. Maybe they're fine if all goes well. When it doesn't... you can see what happens.

    horrible. the HVAC was working perfectly before they came but has been not working well since the guy did whatever he did. in the past when i had these routine check ups done by other companies they just came over, got on the roof, did what they do, and tell me it's fine or it needs something. but this guy wanted to come in and mess with thermostat which seemed a little too high tech for him and didn't really even want to get on roof. i told him he had to to check unit. he finally did. but things have not worked well since. i called them, they sent out another person to get on roof and said unit was like new and it was fine. they wanted to send someone out to come in house with a 4 hour window. i said no because i was too busy at time to wait around. but now i will have to find time for them or another company to come out because it's going to be a HOT summer

    the technician spent over an hour examining everything and pushing me to overhaul, upgrade, replace -- a few hundred for this or that, or a few thousand to replace this or that. when i insisted i did not want to spend anything over the $79 i had already paid Angie's List, he said he couldn't clean the vents because my ladder was too short. (i live in a loft with high ceilings). So i asked him to clean the return air vent, the one low enough that he could reach on my ladder. He climbed up, took out the disposable filter, and said i needed a new filter. i asked if he had any, i would pay extra if needed. he went to his truck, came back and said no, he didn't have the correct size. so he left the dirty disposable filter out, closed the grill, and said for me to call if i changed my mind and wanted a system overhaul.

    Their work is outstanding. Everything was immaculate, it works and they talked me through the process. They explained everything well. They were the only system that went into my attic. They replaced the vents, built racks for them to hang on, encased everything in metal so it would stay clean. They added vents to imporve ventilation. a's

    He was great. They were responsive. We were having a heat wave, looked to see what was wrong and the unit was frozen and checked the filter. He then came back next day to recheck. He was great, it was amazing. He was really timely, polite, helpful and brought us an extra filter without charging us. I thought the price was reasonable for two visits and a repair. He was really nice.

    The Right Choice Heating & Air
    Terribly. Rubin came out, and never even opened the unit. He insisted it's the wrong size and immediately started trying to sell my wife a larger (expensive) unit. I called another company and 2 days later they came out, opened the unit, and found a big refrigerant leak. If The Right Choice had just opened it and looked around they would have seen this. Instead we paid $40 for the inspection and had to pay again for someone else to come take a look. Shady shady shady. I also contacted their office for a refund and was told I'd get a call back on Monday for processing and it's Tuesday night and I've heard nothing. Seems like a scam. If they would at least refund what they charged me I might change this review to something not quite as bad. As is this is pretty upsetting.

    Mr. Kaldess was professional and informative. He diagnosed the problems, and provided the solutions that best solved the problems that prevented my air conditioner from blowing cool air. Mr. Kaldess was very mindful of the expenses involved, and made sure I was aware of these expenses before he started his repair work. I was provided with information that will help me maintain the A/C unit in working condition.

    He also offered a choice to try to repair, I felt he was very honest.

    Our community is doing major roof work and will wait. JW followed up with a written estimate.

    Following 19 years of service, my wife and I chose the time had come to replace our Heating and AC unit. The worst part of this experience to me is getting assessments from different companies and after that choosing one. Not knowing a thing about heating or AC units I went to the web for answers and reviews and that is the place I discovered San Fernando Valley HVAC. San Fernando Valley HVAC wasn't one of the huge names yet their clients gave them A+ survey. Subsequent to having 3 other heating and cooling companies go to my home and give me estimates, Andre from San Fernando Valley HVAC came in and didn't pull any scare tactics or pressure me into anything. He really listened to my needs and expectations and proposed 3 distinct units that would work for my size home and needs. San Fernando Valley HVAC genuine approach, value and components won my business. On installation day everything went smooth and pretty much as Andre said when we met for the estimate their installers is the best of the best. This gentleman took such a great amount of pride in the arrangement of each screw, cable and pipe it felt like he was installing it at his own home. He tidied up after himself and left no trace other than a brand new Heater and AC unit outside. San Fernando Valley HVAC did all that they guaranteed and at a better price than the huge names here in San Fernando Valley. I recommend San Fernando Valley HVAC without reservation to anyone requiring a HVAC unit.

    Precise Air Systems Inc
    We had been looking to add a/c to our existing furnace. I got two bids similar in cost, when I met John Mattson from precises air systems. In all fairness our kids go to kindergarten together. As you can imagine, having him give us a bid carries risks; our kids will like be in school together for the next eight years, and if we don't choose his company, it could be awkward. If we choose his company and it doesn't go well, it could be awkward... For a long time. Well, it won't be awkward. John was the only sales person (of the three companies we got bids from), to come out and actually spend time with us, explaining in detail the difference in systems, He was the only salesperson to explain that we/they would need to move our furnaces out a bit to accommodate the drip pan for the a/c coil. He's the only one who recommended and included replacing all of our ducts. And then, because we had two furnaces, that were getting old, he was the only only to think of and suggest we consider taking the two old furnaces out, and replace with one, new, more efficient furnace, the we only need one a/c coil and one compressor instead of two of everything. He gave us three options, best, middle, and good. The price, comparing apples to apples with the other companies, was less by about 10%. We went ahead with Precise Air, not because of price but the experience John provided us. Moving on to the installation. Jeff was the lead technician. He couldn't have been nicer, more polite, diligent, communicative, and punctual. We were told it would take about 4 days, and it took 4 days. Then Scott, who programs and tests the system comes in and couldn't be nicer, polite efficient, professional. Because weren't here when he finished he had to come back, and show me how to create my account and load the app to my phone, s now I can control my system from anywhere using my I-phone. When we tested it, it didn't take more than 5 seconds or so for the system to turn on or off using my phone. Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end!!! I would recommend these guys all day long.
