  • We originally just wanted to remodel our kitchen and family room. They were separate rooms and we wanted to take down the wall to create a more open feeling. We later decided to remodel our laundry room and bathroom too. Brawley Construction was very professional in every aspect. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very helpful in helping us make decisions. They were very understanding and agreeable to all the additional things we asked for too. Their workers Ed and Angel were very professional as well. They did all the work from demolition to all last minute details. They were very articulate in all phases of the job. We LOVE our newly remodeled home! I would highly recommend Brawley Construction for any remodeling job!

  • They also installed wrong color tile and we were gone when they did it so instead of grey/brown tile we got blue/brown. Wood floors ok except the fact that they messed up refrigerator and tried to blame us.

  • The installers showed up on time and did the job in a timely manner.  The problem is about 6 months later their is a crease in the middle of my room that I had to put a throw rug to hide and the edges came up and are unravelling.  when I tried to contact them to come back and fix it they ignored my calls and wouldnt help at all.  I now have to cut the edges periodically and tuck the rug back at the edges myself.  Would not recommend this comapny at all.

  • My wife and I recently refinanced our house so that we could renovate our home.  Our house was a base model with no upgrades so everything was really bland and dated.  We had green and yellow tile in our kitchen and bathrooms.  It was horrible.  We really did our research when it came to finding a flooring company to do our house.  It was a lot of money to spend for us and we were really nervous about getting it done.  We sat on the money for like a month.  We read a lot of reviews for flooring companies on yelp (S&G, Lumber Liquidators, Flooring Liquidators, Home Depot).  The reviews for all these companies were very spotty.  They either had 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews.  This made the decision even tougher.  I didn't realize how this all worked but most of the complaints for all these flooring companies is that they use sub contractors to do all the work.  So your not even working with the same people that you buy the flooring from.  There were a lot of horror story posts that my wife and I were reading about the flooring being installed incorrectly or the installers being really rude and possibly not even licensed.  We called around to some local companies in town and there was only one that we could find that actually have there own employees to do the work for the flooring that they sale.  We also had a recommendation from one of my wife's co-workers that recently had there kitchen remodeled by them.  So needless to say we went with Knights Flooring.  They sent an estimator out to our house to look at the scope of work we were looking for.  He was extremely friendly and really made us feel a lot more comfortable with our decision.   We worked with a gal named Holly at there store and she was really helpful.  They had so many different options to mix and match from it was almost overwhelming.  Luckily she was there to steer us in the right direction.  With our budget I was expecting to get the middle of  the road carpet and wasn't sure if we could get real hardwood floors or just the laminated flooring that looks like hardwood.  There quote was actually a lot lower than we anticipated.  We were able to afford everything we wanted and didn't have to compromise.  We were even able to get some new furniture with the extra that we saved.   Once all the flooring that we chose arrived they got started the very next day.  The flooring guys were really professional and respectful of our stuff.  They did almost all the flooring while we were at work.  They knocked it all out in about a week, which was really surprising.  I have to say we were more than happy we decided to go with Knights Flooring.  We have already recommended them to my parents a few family friends who are getting work done as well.  It was a really great experience.

  • The estimate they gave us was quite a bit less than another we had called. The owner of this company is really good and he listens to what you want to get done.  That speaks a lot to me. He is as sticky as I am.   They never leave a mess.   It is always cleaned up.   They are very careful of the preparation of the work area.   Price wise they were quite a few thousands less than the other estimate we received.  We will use them in the future.

  • Michael came and gave me an estimate and we came to an agreement on the number. I was provided with a very detailed quote and contract. This is the first company (I have dealt with more than 20) that has kept me informed from the first day on the progress of the job, the pitfalls, and the solutions. My shower was fairly complex in its design as well as the layout of the granite. I am a designer and am extremely critical and picky. The job was complete, the service excellent. I will use Michael and his family business again on my next project. They were not the lowest bid, but they were worth every cent.

  • We had a difficult time getting a hold of Nathan, as he doesn't seem to keep his cell phone with him often. He was very honest about the price. It was a little high, but the overall job went fairly smooth. A few unseen problems (specifically, a few floor joists under the bathroom had rotted out) did NOT result in him asking for more money. He let us know that afternoon that the repairs were almost done, at no additional cost to us. That was a huge surprise. The extra day without a second bathroom was hardly a problem in light of the cost (or lack thereof). We did have a few problems getting him to call us back. His license is also suspended, apparently for not keeping his insurance premiums current. The quality of work was good, so we're not worried about having to call him back, but it's still enough concern for us to not be willing to hire him again. I would also dispute his knowledge of the industry. His claim of having been putting in floors for over 30 years is undoubtedly true, but when we asked about a couple newer products (specifically, carpet padding that has a vapor barrier to prevent spills from soaking into the pad), he didn't seem to know about them. He claimed that the carpet padding we wanted would be noisy and crinkle as we walked on it, but that wasn't our experience at a friend's house that had used it, and we haven't noticed any noise with it. I should note that he was able to provide it, and that he didn't charge extra for it once he found it. It costs about twice the price of regular padding (highly recommend it, however). While he may be knowledgable about many aspects of his business, newer products and technologies may have escaped him. We also had to wonder how he remains in business, quite frankly. After all the materials and time (a 3-day job lasted 6 days) added on to the original estimate, I can't imagine his profit was more than $300 for 6 days of labor. That might explain his unresponsiveness via phone, as I know he had a couple other jobs going at the same time.
