  • I have my 5 year old in their pre-K and my 3 year old in their preschool. The director is a former teacher who started the center a couple years ago. She is great. All the teachers are very loving and caring. My kids are learning their ABC's and other fundamentals. We are very happy with them.

  • I had an anterior C spine fusion from Dr. Jae Chon of Kerlan and Jobe Orthopedic. After the surgery I was not able to lift my
right arm. Two days after the initial surgery Dr. Chon went in again from the front to try and correct the damage to
my C-5 nerve. The two anterior surgeries had left me with tremendous swelling in my neck. My voice was gone, I chocked on everything. He had used a morphogenic protein in my neck that was FDA approved for the lumbar but not for the C spine because it causes swelling. I was on prednisone for weeks to reduce swelling and keep my air ways open. This second surgery was not
successful. In subsequent office visits I had to wait two hours in a very cold room only to be told it might take up to
two years to know if my arm movement would come back there was not surgery, physical therapy or medication to help. I could not eat, write, drink, comb my hair and brush my teeth with right arm. As my condition got worse Dr. Chon refused to see me. He would not return calls or return calls made to Kerlan Jobe business office. I sought the help of an excellent doctor at Cedars Spine institute, Dr. Brian Perri; he performed a posterior C-spine surgery (he went in from the back). He found a very large chunk of bone from the first surgery had become wedged between the metal plate inserted by Dr. Chon
and my spinal cord. The result was a bone fragment was coming from the front of my spinal cord through the back C-5 foramen, the hole where the C-5 nerve exits the spinal cord. This bone fragment was cutting into the C-5 nerve root. This was causing paralysis in my right arm. Dr. Perri carefully removed this bone fragment. It has been a long hard recovery but I have full movement in my right arm. I will always have weakness in the right arm, but now I can blow dry my hair, eat, drink, and brush my teeth normally. In my opinion, Dr. Chon was not diligent during the first surgery and in the second surgery he failed to see a bone fragment that per the second doctor was very visible to the naked eye. He really should never perform this surgery again. Dr. Brian Perri and his crew at Cedars Spine institute are excellent, caring and in my mind, saved my life.

  • Surgery was successful. The new knee works as good as new and without pain. The operation was explained in detail and all questions were answered to my satisfaction. The hospital stay was 4 days. This was my second knee replacement performed by the same doctor.
I would highly recommend Dr. Sanders to anyone.

  • Dr. McBride began seeing me February 2012 after 3 failed back surgeries had left me with a drop foot.  After months of watching my recovery he decided that a spinal fusion was needed.  In October 2012 Dr. McBride fused my spine and in doing so he relieved my drop foot which I was told I would have for life.  He is an amazing surgeon, great bedside manner. he actually listens to your concerns and addresses them.  I would recommend Dr. McBride 100%!

  • Collectively, as a family of four, we spent nearly $11,000 on tests to find out our body chemistry... what we might be allergic to, diseases we might be susceptible to, foods we need to avoid, etc.
My experience, in summary, is this.
Dr. Hirani has her eye on the dollar, first and foremost. This is evidenced right away when find you must give her your credit card just to make an appointment. Her rules are incredibly stringent where this is concerned... if you don't give her enough advance warning if you have to reschedule (i.e., a full 24-hour notice. 18 hour notice won't cut it) then you get charged for the appointment anyway.
I've had regular doctors make themselves available to me via email or even cell phone if I have quick questions, but with Dr. Hirani you must pay to communicate via email. (She charges in 15-minute consultation increments.)
With regards to the constant emphasis on money, in addition to all the pricey tests, there are the endless supplements which must be purchased. And the only supplements that are trustworthy are the ones she sells.
Despite it being a "doctor's office," I repeatedly felt like I was dealing with an expensive health spa. On two occasions I found myself needing prescription refills over a holiday break, but no one was checking the voice messages. Once I tried coming by the office on a Friday mid-afternoon (i.e. 3pm) to pick up medication prior to going on a trip. But, despite posted hours and without any notification, everyone had left early.
Ultimately, my wife and I were put off by the lack of tangible improvement in the overall "wellness" of any of us after adhering rigorously to the revised diets and taking all those expensive supplements. The amount of money we had spent over the course of six months was overwhelming. And it remained an irritant that Dr. Hirani herself seemed far more interested in every nickel she could squeeze out of us, rather than us as people.
I do believe that Dr. Hirani is knowledgable in her field. But for all of the science that she is charging for, I feel like there's an equal amount of snake oil.

  • My experience with him in general has been really good. He is a smart guy who performs good work and knows what he is talking about. His staff is ok but is not excellent. Once when my girlfriend went there they had messed up the billing for her due to which she was paranoid. This however has never happened with me and most of the time it is fine with no continuing problem.

  • Everyone in the office was incredibly pleasant. I arrived early to be sure that I got all of my paperwork completed before the appointment time, which seemed to surprise Cindy (the receptionist). I got in to see Dr. Chen on time, and did not feel like I waited a long time to see him.
Dr. Chen is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He did a better job of explaining the issues to me than any other doctor I have seen for my issues.
    I would highly recommend him.

  • My son's mom suggested we go to AIM when he he had a groin injury from soccer about 5 years ago. Dr. Vince did some amazing soft tissue work with him and set him up with a trainer for some additional physical therapy.  The remainder of his soccer season was injury free.  Since then, I've had a few running strains mostly IT-band related and they've helped me recover faster than if I hadn't gone, and also taught me some mitigating practices (stretches, exercises).

  • I was a highly active mom of 4 who coached marathon teams and who competed in marathons and triathlons. Following rupturing my L5 disc in the trampoline with my kids I had a microdiscectomy with a different surgeon. This operation led to 2 additional back surgeries which left me with a drop foot and continued daily pain.  I was told the drop foot and nerve pain I suffered from where mine for life. Nine months after the 3rd microdiscectomy I was in need of a fusion of my L5,S1.  Dr. McBride performed the surgery. He not only cured my back pain, he returned mobility to my foot by removing scar tissue and finally freeing my sciatic nerve.
Dr. McBride was patient, informative and compassionate.  He has a great bedside manner and obviously knows his trade.  I recommend him 100%.  He fixed the mess my first surgeon made and gave me back my active life!

  • I've been going there for about 10 years. I go to a different doctor in this clinic normally but when he is out I occasionally use her. She is very competent clinically, but always rushed and impatient. She has very poor person to person skills. She occasionally forgets to do important things because she is so rushed.
