    He was sensational to work with. I had a few other companies tell me they could not install it for me. He came out on time and was friendly. He was extremely knowledgable and was able to order the part for me. He installed the ice maker and it has been working great!

    The removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one went smoothly.  All the connections and straps look good.  He was on time and worked efficiently.  You could tell he was experienced.  My slight disappointment was that the ad on Angie's was for a 40-gallon water heater, and he installed a 38-gallon one because he no longer had 40s.  He told us in advance, but still some disappointment that the advertising didn't match.  Maybe Angie's makes it difficult to modify ads?

    The Water Hook-Up
    Our water softner stopped working and the Water Hook-up delivered and installed a new water softner in a minimal amount of time with no problems.  Brenda was very helpful and Calvin installed the new water softner as soon as he had one available even though he had to work in the dark!  The Water Hook-up allowed us to pay 1/2 down & the balance over the next six months with no interest.  Excellent customer service at a fair price and a great payment plan!

    Inital call was because the water cooler unit on the roof was leaking. He arrived within a couple of hours and checked out the problems, including what was going on as well as the problems he saw, including pictures of the filters showing the lack of servicing. Once the work was complete, he gave me a detailed receipt and noted on it, as well as telling me he would be back to service it for winter and again in spring so I had no further problems. When I began needing the bathroom fixtures upgraded and some other work in the bathroom, I called him again, Mr. Deane noted the softness of the floor and that it was a larger area than I had initially thought (he was right). He and his assistant repaired floor under and around toilet in bathroom where floor and joists had rotted. Discovered the area was unsupported and built up floor supports and joists and replaced sub-floor. Replaced toilet with a model they recommended and I am very happy with it. Repaired tub drain. Kept me informed at each step. Showed me the areas of concern to explain why the work needed to be done. Was absolutely punctual and professional and did an excellent job, including a complete clean up after - not only did they pick up debris and packaging, they also swept off all floors they had touched and hosed off patio. Mr. Deane stopped by the next day to make sure there were no leaks or problems with the work and to ensure I was happy with the job. He also provided a very detailed receipt describing the work and detailing the supplies that had been purchased. He even petted and talked to my little dogs who insisted on trying to help them. I will use him again and again!!

    The salesman showed up on time and answered questions with no hard sell. Their estimate was virtually the same as other provider for similar equipment and features. I chose Culligan because we needed to use the by-pass value fairly often due to a couple hose bibs being on soft water and their by-pass value seemed less likely to wear out than the other providers' by-pass valve. The salesman said the office staff would follow up within a couple of days to schedule install but I had to call back a week later to schedule the install. Other than that minor communication issue in the beginning the rest of the service was good. The installer showed up on time and installed the softener and RO system in a couple of hours. He cleaned up and answered my questions before leaving. Now that I've had the softener a few weeks I wish I would asked the installer to explain each of the menu options on the softener since the documentation does not cover each item. Otherwise I'm happy with the softener and RO system and would recommend them to others.

    It went from warm water to completely cold water and the quote to replace the stem was over $700 dollars.  I called in another plumber and had it repaired for less money even including the $300 I had already paid. I don't fault the vendor I fault Angie's List which has become a real rip off, advertising a bunch of corporate vendors who push upgrades to the deals they advertise instead of providing a service.  Angie's list has jumped the shark and is useless/

    All supply valves required soldering to copper pipe. Was done properly. Toilets installed properly. 2nd bath tub/shower valve installation required cutting wall in hallway and copper pipe soldering. Was done well, sheetrock restored with passable surface texturing. Master bath shower torn out, new fiberglass surround brought in but did not fit due to lack of proper measurement. Was told that custom manufacture fiberglass was required, would cost as much as tile. Chose to add ceramic tile shower surround to original work. Shower valve installation required copper pipe soldering, was done properly. Plumber closed door to bathroom while soldering, blocking ventilation, did not turn on exhaust fan while soldering. Went to the Emergency Room for breathing difficulty. Did not require hospitalization.   Tile surround and floor completed about two weeks after starting initial work. Looks very nice except for finish details which required 2 return visits. Satisfactory tile.  Sliding glass shower door did not keep water off bathroom floor. Bottom edge too high to block water from shower. Also, shower door frame projected one inch above top edge of tile in unsightly manner. Shower door frame installation screw visible above top edge of tile.  Visit from supervisor (Director of Awesomeness!) to demonstrate deficiencies. And attempt to brainstorm remedies. Shower door reinstalled with modifications. Looks better, adequate. Door blocks 90% of water from bathroom floor. Plumber was polite but sometimes unprofessional. Worked 4 to 5 hours on days he was present. Long afternoon breaks. Did not take professional pride in finish details. Work took about a month to complete. Supervisor offered 2% refund to satisfy company motto "If there is any delay, It's you we pay!"  Agreed to supply detailed invoice for Water District toilet rebate.  Took 5 phone calls to supervisor, have refund check three weeks after completion of work. Multiple promises to mail the check were not fulfilled. Still waiting for invoice so Water District toilet rebate can be processed. Very annoying.

    Hold times for customer service are long and the representatives often give out inaccurate information or seem poorly trained. Our deliveries have more items than we requested and we are being billed for items that were not delivered. We are also not being credited fully for the empty bottles we return. And, since they require autopay, you don't know you are being ripped off until you check your credit card bill and notice the charges are higher than normal. We are canceling our service; we'll lug water home from the store instead.
