    Noah's Plumbing
My rental tenant in Santa Clara County had been without hot water for a total of nine days, due to the water heater tank in the rental house failing. They had experienced short two day interruptions in the water heater tank operating, but my regular plumber was able to get the water heater tank to work again. This time was different, as he could not get the water heater tank to operate again. As a property manager, I was desperate to find a plumber to get that water heater tank operating again. Replacing it would not be cheap, as it is a very expensive low NOx 75 gallon model of water heater tank. The tank was also still under an exteneded parts warranty from the manufacturer, Up until the 9th day of no hot water, I had a total of three very experienced, licensed plumbers, from three different plumbing companies, drive out to work on that water heater tank, with the water heater tank manufacturer sending out three different replacement parts, via overnight delivery, all under a parts and shipping warranty. None of those three plumbers could get the water heater to even turn on, let alone start to supply hot water. Fortunately for my tenants, I telephoned the water heater tank manufacturer, and they referred me to Standard Plumbing Supply in Santa Clara, Standard Plumbing Supply referred me to an independent reseller of water heater tanks in the east bay, and that reseller fortunately referred me to Bernard Ferreira of the appropriately named; Noahs Plumbing. On the same day that I telephoned Bernard, and explained to him the desperate situation my tenants were in, he quickly agreed to interrupt his busy schedule, and drive over to my rental house, that same afternoon. Within just forty minutes, he was able to do what three other plumbers could not do, he got the water heater to produce hot water for only $275.00. That might seem like a lot of money, for only forty minutes of work, but when you have had tenants inside a rental house without hot water for nine days, $275.00 is a bargain, especially with him showing up on such short notice. Also, considering I paid one of the three previous plumbing companies, $400, for a licensed and experienced plumber to spend an entire afternoon to waste his time on the water heater tank, and still not determine how to start it. That $275.00 charge, was a very low fee. I am not currently, nor have I ever been related to, nor a friend of any owner or employee at Noahs Plumbing, or Bernard Ferreira. I have never hired Bernard, nor anyone at Noahs Plumbing for any work, prior to this water heater tank repair. I had never even heard of Bernard Ferreira before the day he arrived, to help my tenants and me. Also, I am not, nor have I ever been paid by anyone, for any recommendation, in person, or on the world wide web. What you are reading, are my own words. I choose to remain anonymous, as a residential rental property manager, I value the privacy of my tenants, as well as my privacy. If I perceive a service provider is less than perfect, I will not write a bad review for that organization or individual, and I have been asked to write a web reviews before. It was for a small shop in Santa Clara County, but I chose not to express my opinion about their organization, as the company was slightly less than perfect. In all of my interactions with them. Bernard Ferreira, did quality work, at a fair price. If you need a plumber in Santa Clara County to repair or install a Rheem, Ruud, or General Electric, commercial or residential, compressed natural gas, propane, or electrically operated potable water heater tank, then Bernard Ferreira with Noahs Plumbing, is the plumber for you. He not only accepts checks, he even accepts payment via PayPal. He will not charge the lowest price in the county, but he will provide fantastic value for the dollar; which in my experience, is a rare quality among the building service trades in Santa Clara County. And that is why it is a tragedy, that his knowledge about water heater tank repairs, positive attitude, and his fast and efficient work ethic, can not be cloned.

Rayne Plumbing & Sewer Svc Inc
First call was on 4/26/18. Office staff asked if I wanted estimator to come first; I declined as a leak needs to get fixed regardless of cost. Plumber was super polite, knowledgeable, well-groomed and efficient. I used a different plumbing company a few weeks later for a water heater problem and regretted not simply calling Rayne. When the water heater developed another problem I called Rayne. The plumber Rayne sent for that reeked of cigarettes but otherwise got the job done.

    Water Quality Plumbing
Marty and his team at Water Quality Plumbing (WQP) were amazing and outstanding in every way!!!
Our water heater failed the night before I was leaving on a short business trip. I called WCP in the morning, while waiting for my plane, and provided the information for my existing water heater. They were able to determine my warranty status (it was under warranty - YEAH!) and get the replacement ordered.  The new unit would be available for pickup from the distributor the next morning.
The next day, they picked up the new unit and were on-site for installation before noon!! The installation went smoothly and our hot water was back on-line well within the time estimation. My family at home was very happy to have hot water again :-)
Overall, I can't say enough about the WQP team. From Marty himself, the awesome office staff helping with the warranty and scheduling, and to the awesome installer, the entire experience was great!! They really went the extra mile to quickly fix it and help me stay up to speed on everything while I was away.
I would highly recommend WQP and will definitely use them again in the future.

    Quick Plumbing Services
Our kitchen sink literally erupted a few days ago when I ran the garbage disposal, then wouldn't drain. They came out and took the plumbing apart and the pipes were filled with gunk - apparently just build up that can occur over years. He took care of that, then checked our dishwasher which hadn't been cleaning well. We also had an issue this morning where our water heater tank overflow system wouldn't stop running, so he took a look at that and replaced the bad pvc that had just worn out. He also had some good maintenance tips and was just generally helpful. High marks for solving the problems while also being courteous, professional, and good natured. It was expensive because it was after hour rates. Ouch! But we needed our kitchen back and our hot water heater working, so it was worth it to us. I would call them again.

AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning Co
From the bid to completion, things go well with AAA Furnace and Heating.  I usually work with Jim Mcmann.  The office is friendly, and will call you when they email the bid, and Gary, the scheduler, is able to answer questions, and get you scheduled.  It's helpful to work with a larger company because  AAA can do it all---install HVAC and water heater, plus handle all the electrical.  The smaller HVAC companies often aren't able to install water heaters so would've had to coordinate a plumber and maybe an electrician, plus an air duct cleaning outfit.  (I talked to 2 other companies where this would've been the case.)

Installation went smoothly and finished ahead of schedule. This is the 2nd time I have worked with this company, and they always send out a professional team who have high standards and work cleanly.  The crew made an effort to communicate and installed the furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, and new drain lines for the AC condensate and the water pump drain.  Panels and gas meters were labeled, and everything was picked up.  The duct cleaning was amazing, too---could hear all kinds of stuff being suctioned out.  They do comprehensive work and are competitive.  It's a relief to work with this company.  I wish I had known AAA earlier!

An old 50 gallon gas water heater was removed and taken away. A new Bradford White water heater (also 50 gallon) was supplied and  installed. The work took 2 hours 25 minutes. The job passed the town inspection.

    Water Quality Plumbing
Plumber first said hot water faucet had pressure from under-sink hot water tank to the faucet, so "something" was wrong with the faucet itself. This seemed very strange to us, as the instant hot water only stopped working after we changed the filter.  Apparently our only option was to buy a new faucet.  He also was going to install a new toilet, but it was shipped to our house broken, so, nothing to install. Got a new faucet, a second new unbroken toilet, had the plumber come back.  Installed hot water faucet, installed new toilet.  Hot water faucet leaks constantly and is unusable.  I think this is a problem with the faucet itself, but I still have a non-function instant hot water system which I used to love.  So for the work done I felt it was very expensive, and to top it off, still no instant hot water.

Acme Boiler & Water Heating Co.
Very knowledgeable with Lochinvar brand system.  Other heating and AC service people did not have a clue with this brand and system.  Quickly determined problem and corrected.  Performed scheduled maintenance.

    Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Novato
This was a very good "deal."
The plumber arrived VERY late, detained at previous job, but worked quickly.
He went quickly through the house, mostly verifying that toilets, sinks, etc. were in good working order.
He found and fixed a couple of clogged sink faucet aerators.
He noted that the shower/bath water turn on in one bathroom needed replacing.
He noted (with my prompting) that one of the faucets in my old shower in the other bathroom was leaking.
For each of these he proposed a very major fix... probably the "best" fix in each case, but way too expensive for me to even consider.

    SOD Home Group
We are extremely happy with Oren, Michelle and all of SOD crew members.
So we have just purchased our new home, which needed serious updates to make it look like our home. We decided to start with the kitchen, which was outdated and closed, and the master bathroom that looked like it came out of the 70's. We called a few contractors we found and the third meeting was with SOD, well Oren & Michelle came and there ideas just blew us away. Michelle asked us our likes and dislikes in the old kitchen and while questioning us, really got what our vision was, her ability to point out some of the things that we couldn't see was just great. Oren was straight to the point, didn't promise anything he couldn't provide, I really liked the no bulshit approach he had. ( some of the others bidders made us feel like they would promise anything just to have us sign a contract ).
SOD also re pipe and rewire the whole house. they also upgrade the main electrical panel to 200amp.
Oren did an amazing job on our kitchen, opened up the space to the living room, and I just love that I can show off my new kitchen every time I host a party.
I must say that since day one they make sure that the house is covered with plastic, paper and they make sure to keep the site clean every day, even that we are not living at the house!
Their crew were professional, on time and we always knew what was expected to happen. The office always updated us on the schedule on daily basis (they are using some kind of online project management software).
Now we are done with phase one which was the kitchen addition and the next step will be master bath.... I can't wait!!!
I must say their bid was not the lowest one we got, but it was worth every penny more we spent.
I would update once our bathroom will be completed ;)
Thank you everyone for an amazing job!!!
