    SimplyGreen Plumbing Sewer & Rooter
They took advantage of the fact that my tenant was at work and had his nanny sign for the work. They charged $565 for a simply replacement of a $17 part. Going rate (I've checked around a lot) is about $120 max. Then they tried to justify it by claiming the part cost them $77 and they triple the price of the part because "they have to procure and store it." I checked again - the part is readily available at Home Depot or Ace for about $17.

    Noah's Plumbing
My rental tenant in Santa Clara County had been without hot water for a total of nine days, due to the water heater tank in the rental house failing. They had experienced short two day interruptions in the water heater tank operating, but my regular plumber was able to get the water heater tank to work again. This time was different, as he could not get the water heater tank to operate again. As a property manager, I was desperate to find a plumber to get that water heater tank operating again. Replacing it would not be cheap, as it is a very expensive low NOx 75 gallon model of water heater tank. The tank was also still under an exteneded parts warranty from the manufacturer, Up until the 9th day of no hot water, I had a total of three very experienced, licensed plumbers, from three different plumbing companies, drive out to work on that water heater tank, with the water heater tank manufacturer sending out three different replacement parts, via overnight delivery, all under a parts and shipping warranty. None of those three plumbers could get the water heater to even turn on, let alone start to supply hot water. Fortunately for my tenants, I telephoned the water heater tank manufacturer, and they referred me to Standard Plumbing Supply in Santa Clara, Standard Plumbing Supply referred me to an independent reseller of water heater tanks in the east bay, and that reseller fortunately referred me to Bernard Ferreira of the appropriately named; Noahs Plumbing. On the same day that I telephoned Bernard, and explained to him the desperate situation my tenants were in, he quickly agreed to interrupt his busy schedule, and drive over to my rental house, that same afternoon. Within just forty minutes, he was able to do what three other plumbers could not do, he got the water heater to produce hot water for only $275.00. That might seem like a lot of money, for only forty minutes of work, but when you have had tenants inside a rental house without hot water for nine days, $275.00 is a bargain, especially with him showing up on such short notice. Also, considering I paid one of the three previous plumbing companies, $400, for a licensed and experienced plumber to spend an entire afternoon to waste his time on the water heater tank, and still not determine how to start it. That $275.00 charge, was a very low fee. I am not currently, nor have I ever been related to, nor a friend of any owner or employee at Noahs Plumbing, or Bernard Ferreira. I have never hired Bernard, nor anyone at Noahs Plumbing for any work, prior to this water heater tank repair. I had never even heard of Bernard Ferreira before the day he arrived, to help my tenants and me. Also, I am not, nor have I ever been paid by anyone, for any recommendation, in person, or on the world wide web. What you are reading, are my own words. I choose to remain anonymous, as a residential rental property manager, I value the privacy of my tenants, as well as my privacy. If I perceive a service provider is less than perfect, I will not write a bad review for that organization or individual, and I have been asked to write a web reviews before. It was for a small shop in Santa Clara County, but I chose not to express my opinion about their organization, as the company was slightly less than perfect. In all of my interactions with them. Bernard Ferreira, did quality work, at a fair price. If you need a plumber in Santa Clara County to repair or install a Rheem, Ruud, or General Electric, commercial or residential, compressed natural gas, propane, or electrically operated potable water heater tank, then Bernard Ferreira with Noahs Plumbing, is the plumber for you. He not only accepts checks, he even accepts payment via PayPal. He will not charge the lowest price in the county, but he will provide fantastic value for the dollar; which in my experience, is a rare quality among the building service trades in Santa Clara County. And that is why it is a tragedy, that his knowledge about water heater tank repairs, positive attitude, and his fast and efficient work ethic, can not be cloned.

    Dependable Rooter and Plumbing
I wanted to take a moment to write about the exceptional work done at my house today by Dependable Plumbing. A valve that I use to turn off water to the inside of the house failed... It was about 5 pm, and I turned off the water to change a sprinkler head in my backyard, and when I turn the water back on, the pipe burst. I called several other plumbers, and none of them returned my calls. I called Dependable plumbing and received a call back within a few minutes. the person I spoke to said that while they didn't have any plumbers that could come out in the evening, they would have somebody there, first thing in the morning, at 6: 30 am. The technicians arrived on time and performed the work perfectly. Once the water was turned back on, we noticed that the sprinkler heads in the front yard where now leaking. I had only scheduled to fix the one pipe, but Dependable Plumbing came back the same day, in the afternoon and fixed the two leaking sprinkler heads. I can't thank Dependable Plumbing enough for the superb job, and excellent customer service they provided my family. Thank you Liz, and the Dependable Plumbing crew for taking care of my problems quickly, efficiently and professionally.

Rayne Plumbing & Sewer Svc Inc
First call was on 4/26/18. Office staff asked if I wanted estimator to come first; I declined as a leak needs to get fixed regardless of cost. Plumber was super polite, knowledgeable, well-groomed and efficient. I used a different plumbing company a few weeks later for a water heater problem and regretted not simply calling Rayne. When the water heater developed another problem I called Rayne. The plumber Rayne sent for that reeked of cigarettes but otherwise got the job done.

    Patterson Plumbing and Drain Inc.
On March 7, 2018, I needed to have the feeder line for the hot water to a claw-foot tub in a very old house re-piped from the floor level to the faucet since there was a small leak. I researched various plumbers and contacted Ivan after seeing the very positive reviews here and was impressed by the user-friendliness and overall friendliness conveyed by his website. He responded to my e-mail very quickly and was able to stop-by to do an assessment within an hour since he was just finishing another job nearby. He did a thorough assessment of the re-piping job and clearly communicated the nature of the problem and my options for this repair. The price he quoted for the job was fair given he would be re-piping very old piping with quite a bit of corrosion. He expertly and efficiently installed a new valve and feeder line and was very sensitive to my preferences. His did such a good job that I asked for a quote for a couple smaller tasks that I had planned on doing myself--- replacing an S-trap on the kitchen sink and installing a new shower head. He was willing to be flexible on price, and we settled on a reasonable price. The price approximate cost of the service I have listed in this review includes all the work he did on this visit. He then did a quality repair quite efficiently, but he also even took the initiative to fix a few other small aspects of the old plumbing on his own initiative at no extra charge! I highly recommend Ivan for his quality work, reasonable pricing, good communication skills, and very friendly and helpful nature. I was quite impressed, and I am not impressed easily. He has been a plumber for 20-years but only recently moved to the Bay Area and deserves, in my opinion, to get a chance to grow his quality business. By the way, although he is based in Capitola, he is more than happy to work in the Santa Clara Valley as well as Monterey County.

    Quick Plumbing Services
Flooded first floor, damaging ceiling, which now requires complete repair and more-over refusing to take responsibility. Instead of being courteous and admitting they erred and trying to come to an agreement on how to address the flooding damage they caused, outright refused and got even rude. I'm now suing the company in the court . The company seems to be employing unlicensed workers - beware

R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services Plumbing - Rooter
He showed up on time as promised, accurately quoted his cost and time and did a professional clean install. He had the right tools for the job, a sensor to locate the pipe exactly to know where to dig, and pneumatic tools for digging, etc. His price was better than all the others I checked. I will definitely be using his services again.

This company is the worst one I ever interact with. Reserve the time for it after set up an appointment. Waiting at home for whole morning, no one show up and no response for why not show up. It shows how much they care about the customer. They may find I am too far away, and after set up the appointment and change mind. But please be professional and be considerate that at least give me a call to cancel. It reflects the poor integrity of this company.

The work was done well. When I came down to the garage to check on how it was going, the guy they had subing was just not working. I was not unhappy with the work I was just unhappy with the amount they charged me and I was missing some tools.

    Bay Bathrooms and Kitchens
Given our mid-century house with its old electrical system and flooring, and my ignorance of electrical and plumbing details, the job was more complicated than the preliminary assessment had indicated, but that was the situation, not the contractor's fault. It took much longer than we anticipated, but Tom stayed with the job and was able to get it all up and working. Not only was he completely professional, he was personable and honest too. I don't think he overcharged, but the cost ended up much more than I thought it would be because of the difficulties of the nearly 60-year old house. Tom always showed me the issues and what the situation was, so I could understand the work. As for punctuality, jobs sometimes take longer, but Tom always called to let me know when he would arrive.. And my extra-long job caused him to delay others' work. Thus, Tom is responsive and reliable, realizing that customers' time is also valuable. In the end, I was very pleased that he stuck with the job until it was done, and all came out well. He did not leave me with a half-finished job while he did other work.
