  • My rental tenant in Santa Clara County had been without hot water for a total of nine days, due to the water heater tank in the rental house failing. They had experienced short two day interruptions in the water heater tank operating, but my regular plumber was able to get the water heater tank to work again. This time was different, as he could not get the water heater tank to operate again. As a property manager, I was desperate to find a plumber to get that water heater tank operating again. Replacing it would not be cheap, as it is a very expensive low NOx 75 gallon model of water heater tank. The tank was also still under an exteneded parts warranty from the manufacturer, Up until the 9th day of no hot water, I had a total of three very experienced, licensed plumbers, from three different plumbing companies, drive out to work on that water heater tank, with the water heater tank manufacturer sending out three different replacement parts, via overnight delivery, all under a parts and shipping warranty. None of those three plumbers could get the water heater to even turn on, let alone start to supply hot water. Fortunately for my tenants, I telephoned the water heater tank manufacturer, and they referred me to Standard Plumbing Supply in Santa Clara, Standard Plumbing Supply referred me to an independent reseller of water heater tanks in the east bay, and that reseller fortunately referred me to Bernard Ferreira of the appropriately named; Noah’s Plumbing. On the same day that I telephoned Bernard, and explained to him the desperate situation my tenants were in, he quickly agreed to interrupt his busy schedule, and drive over to my rental house, that same afternoon. Within just forty minutes, he was able to do what three other plumbers could not do, he got the water heater to produce hot water for only $275.00. That might seem like a lot of money, for only forty minutes of work, but when you have had tenants inside a rental house without hot water for nine days, $275.00 is a bargain, especially with him showing up on such short notice. Also, considering I paid one of the three previous plumbing companies, $400, for a licensed and experienced plumber to spend an entire afternoon to waste his time on the water heater tank, and still not determine how to start it. That $275.00 charge, was a very low fee. I am not currently, nor have I ever been related to, nor a friend of any owner or employee at Noah’s Plumbing, or Bernard Ferreira. I have never hired Bernard, nor anyone at Noah’s Plumbing for any work, prior to this water heater tank repair. I had never even heard of Bernard Ferreira before the day he arrived, to help my tenants and me. Also, I am not, nor have I ever been paid by anyone, for any recommendation, in person, or on the world wide web. What you are reading, are my own words. I choose to remain anonymous, as a residential rental property manager, I value the privacy of my tenant’s, as well as my privacy. If I perceive a service provider is less than perfect, I will not write a bad review for that organization or individual, and I have been asked to write a web reviews before. It was for a small shop in Santa Clara County, but I chose not to express my opinion about their organization, as the company was slightly less than perfect. In all of my interactions with them. Bernard Ferreira, did quality work, at a fair price. If you need a plumber in Santa Clara County to repair or install a Rheem, Ruud, or General Electric, commercial or residential, compressed natural gas, propane, or electrically operated potable water heater tank, then Bernard Ferreira with Noah’s Plumbing, is the plumber for you. He not only accepts checks, he even accepts payment via PayPal. He will not charge the lowest price in the county, but he will provide fantastic value for the dollar; which in my experience, is a rare quality among the building service trades in Santa Clara County. And that is why it is a tragedy, that his knowledge about water heater tank repairs, positive attitude, and his fast and efficient work ethic, can not be cloned.

  • Clark's did an excellent job. Our floors were very old and some portions had to be replaced. You cannot tell where they replaced parts because they matched it so well. They also took out the carpeting in one room and replaced old baseboards. They always arrived on time and finished the work in the amount of time specified. They have a system that vacuums up the dust as they sand and it really worked. They were always very courteous and efficient.

  • Loved this company. They were easy to deal with on the phone and in person. They arrived on time and were very careful not to let the cats escape. They turned a very tired old (and very dirty - ten cats, three children and one husband) into one that I am proud to own again. I shall definitely be using Lewis Carpet Cleaners again.   • After they finished I asked then how I could correct the problem with a hall 3 way switch. They said they would fix it and they did at no extra cost. The next time I need electrical work I will contact this company.

  • Spoke with Luis who was the most responsive business owner I've dealt with in quite a while. I hired them for a day of touch up on the exterior and the amount of work his guy Marco did in one day, and the quality, was amazing. I am hiring them again for an interior job!

  • I can't say enough about this company; they were just great during a very stressful time. They were helpful on the phone, Brian's estimate was the final price, the movers were nice and polite, my furniture and boxes were moved without damage, and the out-of-state delivery was just two weeks after my pick up. I did my own packing. After the movers left my house on pick-up day, I realized I had forgotten to give them a vanity stool. Chitra met me at their office the next day, when they were closed, and the stool made it safely with my other items.

  • Jose and his assistant were excellent. They came completely prepared to wash our skylights and high windows, and their equipment was perfect for cleaning our screens as well. They were fast and so courteous, and their price for our project was excellent. We will have them come often from now on. I also have to say that Jose's responsiveness was absolutely amazing, and his clean pricing up front without having a whole onsite consultation was so refreshing. They got the job done without any hassle or back and forth, on the timeline I requested via texts and email. We highly recommend Amazing Clean World!!

  • We solicited 3 bids. Although A+ was in the middle of the prices, we chose them because of their technical knowledge, responsiveness, honesty, and “go getting” attitude. In short, we just felt most confident with George and his crew. The job went smoothly from start to finish. The team was on time, efficient, and polite. They used heavy brown paper to mask off our brand new hardwood floors, and did it without attaching tape to the freshly sealed and varnished floors. George was extremely flexible regarding scope of work changes (we changed our minds and painted the hallway instead of the laundry room), as well as our highly constrained schedules. He always called to let us know when the crew would arrive and was extremely neat and thorough when cleaning up each day. In particular, we were highly impressed with the quality of “detail painting” (e.g., cutting straight line between wall and ceiling colors, carefully painting in very tight areas, etc.) Our previous paint job wasn’t nearly as precise, and we just figured that A+ would be the same. We were pleasantly surprised with the very much improved look. Also, since we were painting over using the same colors, the job was bid as one coat. However, several areas (that weren’t properly painted before) required a second coat and A+ performed the extra work without hesitation or extra charges. We did have two minor "touch up" items after the job was finished and George returned the next day and promptly remedied the matter. The only parts of the process that I wish were different are a formal contract (we didn’t have one – only a handshake agreement) and credit card payment (A+ requires cash/check at end of job. Overall we were very pleased with A+ and would choose them again!
