Responsive scheduling, arrived in time, performed inspection and made some minor adjustments to the garage door. No other work was needed. Discussed options for the future when the door needs to be replaced.

First off, they are responsive. They have software that sends text messages and emails for appointments. I really like that. It's give me peace of mind. Second, they are timely- although 10 minutes late, I got a call ahead for notice. The price was okay, I thought it was a bit high but we did say it was an emergency service and needed it done quickly. They deserve an A.

I was never quoted a price when I talked to them on the telephone.  I was charge $114.00 for one remote control.  When I said the price was too high, he sprayed something on the rollers (which I did not want).  They made some money, but lost a loyal customer.

Truly excellent service.  Only ding was our repair guy (Mario) was late due to an earlier job running longer than expected.  Once he was here he was great.  We have a very heavy wooden carriage door.  We had a broken spring which caused the door to become jammed open.  He was able to free the door, replace the springs and replace the cables.  He also lubricated the door including the hinges.  He was very knowledgeable and was even able to re-set our Linear garage door opener (a necessary step when a door has a problem).  The whole thing was very reasonably prices for the work done and the parts used.

In the past 3 years we have had two other companies out.  The first one did OK work but charged us 2X what Halcyon charged for the same work (no question we were ripped off by them).  The second charged very little but told us we needed to replace all our springs (we probably did not) and then put in cheap lightweight materials which were not strong enough for our big door.  That is why they broke causing this problem.  By the way neither company was able to deal with our garage door opener.  I had to re-program it myself.  The second company also tried to sell us a replacement for the Linear opener ("these are terrible, you need a Liftmaster, only good brand").  Fortunately we did not bite on this scam.  There are some very poor, very immoral companies in the garage door business.  I'm pleased to say Halcyon is not one of them.  We will definitely use Halcyon again.

Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation
This was an Angies List special. The technician arrived on time. He performed the services as advertised. At my request, he gave me a quote for new garage doors. Seemed very knowledgeable. He said that if I found a lower quote for exactly the same door, they would beat the price by 5%.

Talked with the service man->  unable to place rain guard on the side since the door is not metal and that it would scrap the paint off the door.  Also unable to place backup battery.
Service man came at 10 AM (window 9-11 AM).  Took him 1.5-2.0 hours to change and install the opener.

Everything went fine. I was satisfied with the work. They were efficient and nice. I got the $100 deal for changing the rollers and then when I found out that I had to put in a whole new system, I said, well, shouldn’t there be a deduction for the rollers that I already bought, he said, well, that’s already been taken off. But I don’t think it was actually, I think I paid the price for the whole new system.

Wonderfully. Took an hour, they were on time, they were awesome to talk and know exactly what he was doing step by step.  And the job was better than we could have anticipated. Even my husband who is so critical usually, was impressed.

We returned home from a trip to find our tilt-up garage door was broken (there was a huge split at the top; it was 50 years old, so I'm not complaining).
I called Campbell Overhead Door at 9am on Friday before Memorial Day and described my problem.  Harry and Holly were at our house before 11am.  Harry looked at the old door, declared it unfixable (no surprise), and Holly said that they could install an in-stock insulated steel roll-up door the next day.  They took measurements and left; that part of the process took about 30 minutes.
On Saturday, the work crew arrived about 11:15am and finished about 1:30.  They were quick and courteous, and the new door looks and works great.
They were able to re-use our existing opener (about 5 years old), saving us significant money.  And the whole process took less than 30 hours from our first call - on a holiday weekend!
