    Repair guy was pleasant and nice to work with. Worked efficiently and most importantly fixed both problems. I did have pay for two visits (diagnosis and repair). It was a couple weeks before appliances were fixed.

    It went great. Max arrived within the time window and went right to work. He found a chip of pottery stuck in the pump and was able to repair without replacement parts. We were charged $60 for coming to our house to take a look. Max was at the house for about an hour. Our total bill was $180 (including the $60).

    They quickly identified the problem and required a part which they ordered. Received a phone call once the part arrived to arrange the next appointment. Arrived promptly were careful when removing the oven from its rack. Clean and efficient. Not a cheap service bu I suppose you get what you pay for

    I can't say enough about the great service provided by Kevin at Pro Appliance Installation. At this time I only needed our garbage disposal replaced, but we'll be sure to have all of our appliances installed by Pro Appliance Installation when we upgrade in the future. Thanks again Kevin!

    Took 3 visits. First diagnostic visit and second for repair. Unfortunately first repair wasnt comprehensive enough and the Freezer still was unable to maintain temperature requiring a 3rd visit to fix this.

    Excellent. My technician arrived in the window. I had a phone call to let me know when he'd be there. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the proper spare part in his truck. It was fixed in less than half an hour. I hired Sears again just recently because my air conditioner stopped working. Once again, phone calls to set expectations, professional service, knowledgeable staff, and it was fixed in 30 minutes. (this was my second time having them repair my AC unit. The last one took longer and was more expensive but there was more wrong with it) For both services, I was able to find a coupon online at the Sears Home Service site that saved me a good amount of money. There's never any hard sell. They do let me know options. I'm just super happy since I know that no matter what the problem, they'll get it fixed. I highly recommend Sears. I can get an appointment in less than a week and it stays fixed.

    The technician arrived early.  He quickly discovered the leaking water valve and replaced it.  He thoroughly cleaned and checked the unit.  The price was reasonable and the unit is working fine.

    I called 6 different appliance repair companies, explained the problem and asked them what they will charge. When I spoke to Tom (I believe that was the owners name) his exact words to me were "if the problem is what you say then the total costs will be from $90-$130. I then made an appointment
     to come out to my house to fix the refrigerator. When he got here he began to take apart my refrigerator/freezer (took the doors off etc). He then said "yup, the problem is exactly what you told me that it was. After taking apart my refrigerator more I asked what the charge will be. He then said that it will be $183. When I said that "you told me that it would be between $90-$130 he denied that he ever said that. Then he started packing up his tools, and leaving my refrigerator torn apart said that he'd be happy to leave. I felt extremely duped as I was told a different price ahead of time and in addition I was blackmailed that he'd be happy to leave and leave my refrigerator torn up with the doors across the kitchen. It was unfair that he was going to leave with my refrigerator torn apart unless I agreed to his demands! In addition, during the process of fixing the freezer he had to jiggle the entire unit which caused a container of soup to fall off the shelf in the refrigerator and smash onto the floor. I would also like to be reimbursed for the container of soup which was $6.50.
     I want the difference between what I was told and the actual price. $182.52-$130=$52.52 + the $6.50 for the soup = $59.02.

    UPDATE: I realize that Ace wants to promote their business, but I never expected them to LIE so many times rather than admit to what they did. I have no gain in this other than to ALERT FUTURE INDIVIDUALS TO THEIR  LIES AND UNFAIR BUSINESS TACTICS! I wish that I was alerted before I hired Ace so I could avoid them. They misrepresent, lie, blackmail and will do anything at all rather than admit that they could do better!
    I need to point out their lies. First I want to point out that when my freezer/refrigerator was broken I googled the model number and who makes the refrigerator along with the word "complaints". I got back on my computer hundreds of complaints that had the same problem. In fact, there were no other complaints/problems with the unit except the complaint that everyone had in common, including me. In addition, everyone had the same symptoms in that the bottom of the freezer would freeze over and eventually water would leak onto the floor. It was with this information that I called ACE. Tom was the one who answered the phone.  (I never talked to Valerie!) I explained that I believe what it was and how I obtained the information, and what needs to be done to fix the problem. His exact words were  "if the problem is what you say then the total costs will be from $90-$130". As for supposedly being confused by calling 6 different companies. I am very methodical and used excel spreadsheet and carefully updated all the information so I could make a clear decision. 
    When Tom arrived, he said "yup, the problem is exactly what you told me that it was". I'm not sure how Valerie can state what Tom said and what I said as she wasn't there! I absolutely confronted him with the range that he gave me and he denied the "bait and switch" tactic and said "well, I can leave now if you're not happy with my prices". As Tom was starting to walk out the door with my refrigerator torn apart I had no choice but to say please do not leave me like this. I WAS BLACKMAILED!!!!  What else was I supposed to say as he is leaving with my refrigerator parts all over the kitchen? If my food was not at risk of getting ruined I would have definitely said "please leave, I do not agree to your tactics". Tom never said he would put my refrigerator together before he left. In fact, just the opposite, as he was packing up his belongings to go and seemed very pleased that I was stuck.
    I can't believe you lied also about the soup. Why would I ever say"don't worry" and then post it as a complaint. Because YOU broke the "container" of soup, you should automatically send me the price to replace it!! I have yet to see a check in my mailbox to cover the cost of the soup. So much for being a "gem" as you stated. You don't even pay for things you broke and even after alerting you that I want you to repay me for you breaking the soup container have you sent me any money to replace what YOU broke.
    I, along with other consumers want to deal with fair and honest repair people. You have shown that you are NOT HONEST in many respects! Like I said, I wish that I was alerted to who you guys are before I hired Tom because I wouldn't have hired him.
      AVOID THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY BLACKMAIL AND LIE TO COVER UP THEIR UNFAIR PRACTICES!!!!

    Mr. Phan was prompt both in responding to my call and arriving when we had arranged. He is very friendly and efficient. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within a half hour. A switch needed to be replaced. I can't imagine better service.

    Luan came out immediately even though I didn't call till 5:30.  Found leak (would have been $300 to fix), but I opted for the cheaper recharge as had wanted a larger replacement unit.  The recharge could last 2 days, 2 months, a year, no guarantee.  I appreciated Luan's professionalism and honest appraisal. And will take his recommendation for a replacement unit to heart!
    With family and grandson over, we could not afford to lose all food! And now I'll have time to look!  Luan has also worked several jobs for my neighbor, and that is a highest recommendation! As my neighbor knows appliances, cars, etc and knows what's needed and expects and gets the best in service.
