    Universal Heat & Airconditioning
He came out within a couple of hours. I had turned it off when I found that it wasn't cooling. He turned it back on and it seemed to work fine. We just talked about the fact that my air conditioner is fighting and also the fact that I have warm ceilings and walls probably because I need to replace my insulation. I may need to have somebody check my duct work in the ceiling but it is too hot for anybody to go up there now. He has come out here several times. For that visit, he didn't charge me. The man who comes out to my house is the son. He and his dad have the business together. I have been using them for 3 or 4 years. I don't know how to compare the price to anybody else. The reason I keep going back is because of responsiveness; he comes out the same day I call. He is very personable but very professional. He is very thorough, he checks everything while he is here. He checks the air coming out of the registers, he checks the temperature difference of the air coming out of the different registers through out the house. He recommended that I change the registers and I have got much better air flow.

    Environmental Heating and Air Solutions
We were impressed by the lack of sales pressure and firm costs. No game playing. While the expense was painful, we feel we got a fair deal and expert installation. If you do your homework, you know that installation expertise is absolutely essential. You'll regret cutting corners. Everyone was friendly and responsive.

    Environmental Heating and Air Solutions
Overall a very professional company to deal with.  Receptionist at office was friendly and easy to work with.  Technician, Cory, was on time, and very knowledgeable.  We had long suspected that our air conditioning system may have been improperly installed and Cory confirmed that fact and carefully explained the details we needed to decide what our next step/s may be.
Only complaint was that the charge for clearing out our plugged condensation overflow seemed a bit excessive for a service that took very little time to perform.  However, we were Ok paying to get the problem resolved immediately and would not hesitate to call this company again if we need additional servicing or decide to get quotes for a new system.

    Environmental Heating and Air Solutions

Working with Environmental Heating & Air Solutions was a very positive experience.  Richard performed the diagnostics and did an excellent and thorough job.  He provided very detailed information regarding the issues with the current HVAC unit.  The current system was over 25 years old and on it's last leg.

I worked with Matt, the owner, to discuss options for a new HVAC system.  Matt provided great information and I never felt pressured to buy a system, or to buy a more expensive system than I needed.

Kevin and Matt (not the owner, but both installers) did an amazing job with the installation.  The kept us up-to-date with their progress, what they found, informed us about next steps, etc.  For example, they checked all the registers (vents) and discovered a piece of insulation had fallen in the attic and was totally blocking two air vents.  They cleared the vents so the airflow to all rooms were working as they should be.

Last but not least, the office staff, Amber and Brandi, were also great to work with.  Positive attitudes and very helpful.

I would highly recommend Environmental Heating & Air Solutions to anyone wanting a professional experience.

    Beutler Air Conditioning and Plumbing
They are always good.  Home service plan members will have priority scheduling.  There is a discount on parts and labor.  They replaced stuff that was under warranty and were on it.  They have been fine to deal with.

JR Putman Plumbing, Heating and Air
The service was fine.  They came very promptly.  They claimed I needed a lot of work on the A/C unit up stairs.  They provided a quote that was really high, it was for a couple thousand dollars.  I didn't think the service was necessary because we just had the home inspected not too long ago.  We had a different service provider come out to look at the work and they informed me that I didn't need the repair work.

The person who came out to give the estimate was less pushy than any other company.  They started right when stated.  The two technicians who did the installation worked so hard.  It was about 108 degrees that day and they kept moving so that I would have air conditioning by that night.  I can't say enough about their work ethic.  Unfortunately, I can't say such great things about the office staff.  When the guys left at the end of the day, they said the office would be in touch to schedule the appointment to finish up.  Did not get a call. A few days later I called the office and was told pretty much what they thought I wanted to hear.  It didn't sound like they really knew what they were talking about and I had no confidence in what I was told so I called back two more times over the next couple days to confirm.   I had to take time off work and wanted to be sure they would show up when they said and it would take as long as they said.  Each time got a different answer.  Anyway, it finally worked out and yes, I would use them again.  Just confirm your appointments a few times. They had to do some modifications to the unit due to access and the inspector was impress with their work!

    Diamond Heating and Air
Both of us have been in the building trades, so we are very particular, and were careful in selecting a contractor.  Diamond met and exceeded our expectations.  We were impressed by Bob's straightforwardness - no hype or sales pitch.  He  is very honest - you can count on him following through with whatever he promises.  (Another bidder changed his work scope on his second visit.)  Bob was thorough in explaining the type of system needed, the SEER rating of the equipment, best locations for various components including additional registers, and the benefits of the energy upgrades he could provide.  A job this size was not without glitches, but Bob handled all problems immediately, decisively, and to our satisfaction.  Bob's experience as a general contractor was appreciated in various aspects of this project.  He is a perfectionist, and will go out of his way to make something right, regardless of the cost to him in time and resources, as evidenced by his top-notch subcontractors (sheet rock and painting).  We were pleasantly surprised by the extra things that he did for us, such as painting the newly emptied closet space where the old air conditioning equipment was, and replacing the baseboards where the old return air registers had been.  His crew took extra care in protecting walls and flooring from dirt and damage during the installation, and cleaned up everything daily.  Even though Diamond had several jobs going, Bob and Elaine made us feel as though we were their only customers, giving us their full attention and as much time as we needed in answering our questions.  Bob was very understanding when we had to stop the project due to an out-of-state death in the family, and the project started again in a timely manner upon our return.  Each room in our home is now conditioned properly and comfortably.

    Valley Solar Inc
From the very first meeting to completion of the job, Brad Price and his team at Valley Solar exceeded my expectations.
I spoke with four different contractors before I consulted with Brad about doing the work. After meeting with Solar City and REC Solar and after doing some more research, I determined that I wanted to use SunPower panels for my system. Solar City and REC Solar do not use those panels. Hooked on Solar and Capitol City Solar do but I came away from their engineering evaluations with concerns about their assessments and recommendations for the install. Our home has a Spanish tile roof which is very fragile and an install on top of the tile would be a disaster. Capitol City's engineer was adamant on doing the install his way, on top of tile, despite the obvious concerns of his customer (Me!).
When Brad come out to evaluate the job, it was obvious, right away, that he "got it". He told me what I needed to know and not what I wanted to hear. He gave me his professional recommendations which included installing a smaller system (24 panels/8 kW) than I originally wanted (27 panels/ 9 kW) because of the improved aesthetics the smaller system would have. He said that I could go with the larger system but that it wouldn't look the best and, more importantly to me, that he "wouldn't be proud of the job". He instilled confidence in me right away that he was the contractor that I wanted to work with. His lead installers Chris and Bob were excellent. I have since learned that the manufacturer (SunPower) uses Brad and Valley Solar to do the install on their commercial jobs as well as the installs on the homes of their employees.

    EcoAttics Energy Saving Solutions
From initial contact through the entire process Cliff was friendly, personable, understanding, and pretty much everything you would want in a professional business person. The crew was prompt and professional every day. They prepped all areas with coverings to keep messes to a minimum. They cleaned up after themselves. They were as unobtrusive as they could be considering they werd crawling around in my attic. Cliff took pictures before work was done and showed everything to me. He took pictures after and showed everything to me. He answered all my questions. And he worked around my schedule when I needed. I dont write reviews, becuase honestly most businessss either have horrible customer service or just average. Its rare to come across quality people and Cliff and his team were just that, quality. I would recomend these guys to anyone and everyone that will listen to me. Completely satisfied!
