    Tenorio's Construction & Handyman Service
My contacts with Tenorios Construction and Handyman Service have been very satisfying. The quality of Tenorios work is excellent. My new kitchen is gorgeous and well planned. Tenorio engaged me in the design of the work area and the cupboard space. Its ideal for me. Huge deck out front is beautifully aligned. I will confidently engage Tenorio in future projects.

    R&R Construction
We hired Randy (R&R Construction) to completely remodel our house after purchase - kitchen, bath, painting, etc. He was absolutely outstanding! He built custom kitchen cabinets for us, demo'd the existing bathroom and converted the shower/tub combo to a new larger shower and linen closet, as well as ultimately re-faced the bathroom cabinetry to match the new cabinets he built for us in the kitchen. He also installed new lighting and all new appliances in our kitchen including a cooktop and built-in oven. In addition, he supervised the painting of the entire house and hired the sub-contractor. We hired Randy because we needed someone we could implicitly trust to do the job right and be on premises when we weren't. We lived 150 miles away during the entire time of the project and could only visit periodically. He was totally and absolutely the consummate professional - during each phase of construction, he was meticulous, neat and cleaned up thoroughly each time. We found Randy easy to work with, understanding and willing to make changes as we requested. We even re-hired him to install our new "monster TV" as he called it (his son supervised Randy)! Without hesitation, I strongly and highly recommend R&R Construction - he is simply the best and most honest you will find in Lincoln and surrounding areas!!

    Mountain View Electric
It couldn't have been better. Ewald and his son did an outstanding job replacing a ceiling fan plus installing a down light. Cost was very reasonable. It's hard to find trades with integrity and they just don't come better than this firm. Not only that they are really nice people. I will definitely go to them in the future.

    JMK Electric
JMK were punctual, professional, checked attic connections to provide the most current standards of installing 4 spotlights correctly within code and safety regulations.  They made sure the light switches were easily reached and changed connections to provide better control from various places within the kitchen to optimize ease of usage for me.  They cleaned everything up and were efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant.  I will use them as my new electricians for my home here in California!

    GTL Construction Inc
Every single team member GTL brought into our home was as nice and cared as much about the project as Tommy, the owner, did. I have hired and worked with contractors professionally  since 1997. I have seen quite a few and GTL is among the very best.
GTL is the kind of partner I would recommend to anyone and will be using you exclusively moving forward in our projects!
Communication throughout the process, their flexibility, quick scheduling, and great staff made everyone feel very safe with them in the house and confident that the project would turn out well.  They seemed to really enjoy their work and wanted to be sure that we were happy with everything.
Very, very, very impressed by GTL.

    Antiques Mary Maxwell, Victorian Lampshades

I originally saw Mary's vintage lamp shades in local antique stores in Placer and Sacramento counties.  When I discovered that she lives near me, I called to ask if she taught classes on how to make lamp shades.

Mary subsequently sold me a DVD entitled "How to Make 'Victorian Style' Lamp Shades."  After purchasing kits from her, including frames, beads, etc., I was hooked!

Since that time, I have worked with Mary many times.  She has always been generous with her time, and patient when explaining things.

Her finished products are beautiful and of professional quality.

    Wiring Integrity
My wife and I just purchased a home and we decided to do some upgrades to the garage while it was empty to make things easier. The garage had three light fixtures each with two 8 ft fluorescent bulbs.  The amount of light was not adequate and the positioning of the fluorescent fixtures did not work well for a 3 bay garage.  Two out of the three fixtures did not work.  We decided to upgrade the lighting and change the positioning to better suit the garage and our needs.
Bella and Niko were extremely flexible and allowed me to schedule a time that worked best for me.  These two individuals are some of the most honest, hardest working people I have met in a long time.  When you call you will speak directly to Bella, no receptionists or any other type of run around.  They are efficient, have great teamwork, and will work the entire time until the job is complete!
They did not shortcut any work and would frequently ask to make sure they understood exactly how we wanted the lighting to be laid out.  They took measurements and placed the fixtures precisely and aligned them perfectly.  I was amazed at how patient they were.
They took the time to show me exactly how to wire up my 2 future fixtures and capped the wiring to make sure it is safe until I am ready to complete the project.
I highly support small businesses and Wiring Integrity is a great example when considering their excellent level of customer satisfaction.  Very happy with the decision to hire these professionals and would highly recommend them to anyone. The final product looks far better than I originally thought thanks to their care and expertise.

    Charles Young Electric
Words cannot say what a wonderful job the team at Charles Young Electric did for me.
I just purchased a home in Lincoln, which needed major updating.
The recessed lights were all halogen, there were fluorescent lights in the kitchen, and the ceiling fans were all dated.
Lighting in a home is not just to provide light, but it is also to provide the right ambiance for the home. Charles gets that, and he is great at thinking through what layout is best for both functionality and mood. I just wanted the halogen lights gone, but hadn't really thought about what would replace them. Charles came to the rescue by recommending LED recessed lights. I like uniformity, so where one could replace a ceiling light, we did it, and it updated the home and gave it a contemporary, clean look. He even recommended additional recessed lights in the living room to balance out the lighting. He knew enough to place them in a certain way to allow them to accent a built in unit if I chose to add one in. THAT was the forward thinking I wanted.
The team is skilled at rewiring and had no problems working in the heat in the attic to complete the positioning of the lights. Even though it was in the high 90's, then team didn't complain at all. That just speaks to the professionalism of Charles' team.
They replaced all of the ceiling fans (with LED lights of course), and were able to ensure that I didn't have to go looking for a remote. I wanted to control the fan/lights from a wall switch, and they were able to accommodate my request.
Charles was also able to change the switches out so that I could have dimmers where I wanted them. He added a switch so that I could switch on the kitchen lights when coming in from the garage. I hadn't even noticed that there wasn't a switch there because it's just something you expect to have.
I don't recommend someone unless I truly feel the work performed will be consistent on the next job they do.
If you are looking for a high quality electrical team that can change your home with well designed lighting and an atmosphere to fit your character, then Charles Young Electrical is for you.

    Four Ace Electrical Services Corp
I had an electrician come in with an assistant and the assistant would just hand him stuff and go out to the truck. So I didn't actually get two people who could work independently of each other and their productivity was relatively low, because it was dependent on one person, essentially, doing it. So there were two men there. One of them was an apprentice and all that. That was one disappointment. Then he spent over a hour installing a ceiling fan and a light. I think he made some mistakes along the way and he had to go back and correct them and I'm paying for the hours. Then, it continued past the two man  hours, from 8:00 to 9:00. I was already beyond that, on just the ceiling light. He did a few other things and managed to go to 10:20 or something like that. Then he said, "Well, the extra work beyond that is an extra $100.00 an hour." If I incur 15 minutes, that counts as an hour. It was the idea that he could control the time. If I'm going to pay for the whole hour at 10:20, he could have done a few more things during that hour. I wasn't too impressed with that. So the "man hours" thing was a question. There were a few parts, which were fine. I wasn't too impressed with that. Additional work, but they put an outside light out there, which his assistant could have done, while he was working on this stuff. A handyman could have done it, maybe. You get paid by the hour, so you take longer to do your work, I guess. I have doubt about whether they're the right people. I wouldn't recommend them. I don't know that they're not. I'm just saying I have doubt about that. It could have been a bad day. Who  knows what it is. I can't say. I'm not a good evaluator at this point.
