AEcology Air Innovations Inc.Mark had called me because I had requested a quote for a service regarding my broken thermostat. I failed at installing a Nest thermostat. I turned off the wrong breaker and caused a spark. After installation, the unit was not receiving any power. I had a rival company quote me $85 for the service visit and potentially another $150 for a replacement transformer. Mark let me know that it was most likely a blown fuse that I could replace myself for a couple dollars. He instructed me that I would most likely have to just find my heater and find the panel with the blown fuse. I was surprised the they weren't trying to get some easy money and charge me for such an easy fix. Marc was right though. I was able to get into my attic and find the blown fuse. The fuse was less than $5 at an appliance repair store, and I was able to fix it myself! Based on this experience, I trust this company completely and will be going to them for any future needs. Marc seems to be an honest and experienced guy. For that reason, I think, they deserve your business. AHuft Heating & Air Conditioning IncMy 36-year-old heating and air conditioning system, which was original to my home, had been on borrowed time for some while. I researched and got bids from four local companies. I needed a new heat pump and air handler at least, but I also wanted to replace the insulation and duct work since it too was old and I had had some rodent issues in my attic some years ago. Insulation upgrades also qualify for additional SMUD rebates. Not only was Huft's bid the lowest, but my Bosch system is more energy efficient than any of the other systems quoted me and whisper quiet. From the salesman Glenn to the installation lead Tever and the insulation installer Anthony, I was impressed with their level of punctuality, courtesy, and professionalism throughout the process. In fact, Glenn was the only salesman who actually took the time to take measurements at my house and explained the numbers of why I needed a three-ton system. I am very happy with my system thus far and I would highly recommend Huft to others!- George P.

I'd had several quotes on replacing the system over the past year, but always hesitated because it was so expensive. Recently, my situation became urgent because I needed to relocate out of state and list my house quickly. Vitaliy at Affordable Air Care inspected my system, discussed my situation and options, and gave me an INCREDIBLY FAIR price for a new furnace, new AC unit, new smart thermostat, new parts, installation, and removal of the old units. And he was able to come back the next day to complete the job in time for me to put my house on the market. AClear Efficiency Home ImprovementWe needed to have insulation put into our attic. This company was amazing. They were in contact with me the next day after I requested some information from them. The employee that came out to give us a quote spent a lot of time with us to make sure we understood what they were going to do, and why they quoted us what they did. When it came time to do the actual insulation they were on time, polite, and hardworking. A week after the project was completed they called to make sure everything was working. None of the Big Boys were interested in helping people on a weekend but Sourya came and fixed the AC and helped us order a new thermostat from Amazon saving us $70. DThe technician disassembled my Honeywell air purifier system and left the door off and filters out in the attic without telling me. The technician stated there were no issues with the attic ducting, and even wrote on the work order "Duct work in good shape". I found 7 breaches in the duct system and repaired them when I checked for myself. The technician charged to change out the system filter, which I had purchased independently. The technician took it upon himself to wash and service the outside condenser, when his work order clearly says "Duct Bid". The technician was cursing under his breath in front of my girlfriend and her son after I told him over the phone he needed to return and recheck the attic duct system. He said he didnt know what he was supposed to be checking in the first place.

DPoorly. This vendor is a pure rip off artist. I had to drive 400 miles and fix it myself. I will never use them or Angie list again.. They tried to sell me a whole new unit even after I told them I was in this business for 20 years. DO NOT HIRE THEM!! They said the heat exchanger was no good causing flame roll out. All it was needed was a coil cleaning!!!

AGreat. They were very thorough, checking the air ducts, measuring the temperature of the air leaving the ducts, and explaining the problem to me. I received a call the day of the appointment refining their ETA, got a call when they left their previous appointment and received an accurate final ETA. The workers wore masks, had uniforms, identified themselves, wore disposable booties in the house, were very professional and courteous.
