We had the pleasure of working with Asaf to convert a spare bedroom into a walk-in closet and could not be happier, not only with the result, but with the process along the way.

We immediately were comfortable with him the moment we met, and that feeling has not changed a bit. We threw a couple of curveballs his way and he absorbed them like they were part of the plan from the beginning. We never had to tell him anything twice, and when he had questions about anything, they were  great questions!

He definitely understood our overarching goal, and it was easy to trust him and his team to use their expertise to get us there. Asaf always kept us looped in to what was going on, and anytime we had any kind of question he was always quick with an answer.

Again, the results of he and his team's hard work are flawless, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

We're already planning our next project, and there's no question Asaf will be leading the way once again.

I am exceedingly happy with the quality of the service Lorenzo provided. The sofa looks great and the two area rugs are practically blinding--I honestly had no idea they could look that good. Lorenzo was polite, professional and respectful and did really great work. I will definitely be using Quality Carpet Cleaning in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Many thanks!!

It couldn't have gone better!  Even when things didn't go exactly to plan (not TME's fault - original flooring with a different contractor was discontinued), TME worked with me quickly to find an acceptable solution.  SO professional - excellent, quality work.  I LOVE MY NEW KITCHEN!

The service and cleaning results were excellent. They got dark stains and punch completely out, and all my friends think I got new carpeting. So happy I found them here on Angie's List. My husband and I are very happy.

    The Floor Center
Robert and William offer great customer service. They are knowledgable about flooring and the installation process. They spent time answering our questions.  The installers were meticulous and the floors look great.  All the workers were punctual and neat.  We felt the price was fair considering the terrific customer service and the quality product and work.  Highly recommended.

I had a horrible contractor that did horrible things to my house.  Tony with TME came in and saved the day.  I was so scared to commit again and he was completely patient with me.  He told me something that I hadn't realized before and was a mistake I'd made with the previous contractor.  He said, "No one can do everything perfectly.  I have my specialties, but it is my job to know who is a specialist in areas I'm not and I'll get those guys working on your house.  It is my job to coordinate them."  The guy before had tried to do everything himself and failed miserably.  Tony is a perfectionist.  He is a GREAT contractor.  The work he does is top notch, as is the work of the people with whom he contracts.
Another BEAUTIFUL thing about TME is that they don't under-bid.  There aren't a whole bunch of "surprise" costs that suddenly appear when you are half way through the job.
A bit of advice - when you put a job out to bid, you might get a lower bid, but you get what you pay for.  You won't find anybody that does the quality of work Tony and is crew do at a lower price.  And, trust someone who knows, it is NOT worth the headache and heartache of testing it.
Tony at TME is The Man!

    The New Floor Co
They were very good. They were very thorough. The only issue that ever arose was that I had talked to the owner about moving furniture and the workers said they never move furniture. I told them to talk to their boss and they did and they moved the furniture. Once that was resolved they did a very good job. I was very happy with the results. I talked to three other companies and two were in the same range. Another one was way out and another company didn?t contact me until after the project was done. The price was fair and reasonable. I didn?t have any buyer?s remorse. They were very responsive and I would definitely hire them again.

    Bamboo 2000 / McPherson Hardwood
My husband and I decided after much research on hardwood floors to choose strand woven bamboo for our remodel project. I found Bamboo 2000 through Angie's list and the reviews were really positive. Compared to other bids and other contractors/project managers, Mike and Chris knew quite a ton more about bamboo. Their years of working with bamboo and their knowledge of bamboo were very sound as I asked a grip of questions. Mike has even traveled to China to learn the manufacturing process of bamboo. Many contractors previously were not "specialized" in bamboo persay. They definitely SPECIALIZE and know bamboo! When I first called Mike, he was in Germany. He was prompt in getting back to me inspite of being overseas. He sent Chris to do a bid and Chris had a lot of expertise as well. In spite of wanting to work with Mike and Chris, I set up the proejct with another contractor due to the time constraint we had and a fairly good bottom line price. A few days before that project, they brought over the bamboo. My husband and I found it was the WRONG shade and so we ended up cancelling the project and returning their bamboo to them. The company did not have the desired color and would not have that shade for awhile. Quite frustrating! At that point, Mike was back in the country and could begin work on our place. After explaining what happened with the previous contractor, Mike was really attentive and set out to do research to make sure we received the right bamboo. He did an excellent job researching and working within our price range to find what we were looking for. They worked out a great price with my husband and I. They were very careful to itemize their quote of services and products, so I could see where their bottom line number was coming from. They described in detail how they would install the floors. It helped that they were the general contractors and so they definitely could tell me exactly what they would do. There was no subcontracted crew - it was Mike setting up the project and Mike and Chris doing the actual project. They were very meticulous with the details and did not cut corners. They were very conscientious of our neighbors (though one was pretty angry at them, they handled it well). They worked efficiently and were helpful in moving our furniture. They even took time to put on the felt piece on the legs of ALL of our furniture for those rooms. I was impressed that at the end of it all, Mike showed a lot of integrity with his work. He did not shop for the lowest quality bamboo, but took price and quality into consideration. He was pretty upfront with things that were out of his control, i.e. the time it would take to prep the concrete, the specific shade MAY not be perfectly what i envision it (though it ended up being awesome), etc. Ultimately, Mike and Chris were extremely professional and personable throughout the whole process. They were really friendly. My husband and I really had fun chatting it up with them too! They are really funny, lighthearted guys! During the process, they even brought in a contractor who works with carpet to be sure to install the best looking transitions between our bamboo floors and the carpet. Smart move! Their carpet guy was also professional and did a fabulous job. The project spanned 4 days, which turned out just fine. We ended up having to cut one of their work days short because we had an event at our place. They were willing to work with us and finished the floors in time for the event. They returned the next day to finish out the transitions and base shoes. When they job was finished, as I mentioned, they helped us set up our furniture with proper protection. They talked to us about maintenance of the floors and they were just all around really comprehensive with what they did and what they communicated to us. Ihad lots of questions during the project and they didn't seem to mind at all. The only slight setback was with punctuality in the mornings, but it was really minor and it worked out better in the end for us. A week has passed. We are SO happy with our floors. They are beautiful! They really make our space feel larger and the space is really opened up. We're so thankful we went with strand woven bamboo. Having a dog, we really wanted something that would stand up to some pet wear-and-tear.The strand woven bamboo definitely holds up tough as nails and the finish is amazing. I recommend strand woven completely. We had a carbonized light shade and it worked with our darker espresso furniture and light green walls. Grateful for Bamboo2000!

Sevice was pretty good. Linoleum is laying good, which is the most important. The punctuality was okay, except for the first day. Jim didn't show up at all to check in (which he said he would), which is not very important, but you count on what you are told. I was left with a mess that took an hour to clean up in the yard, and the guy who laid the floor was on the phone for at least 2 hours every day. He was arranging not only work, but personal matters as well, which was loud and very annoying. The finishing up part of the work was very hastily done. I found that stressful, and with putting the appliances back, some part of the linoleum did get already scratched. I pay for this service (moving of appliances) to NOT have that happen. I would may be use them again, but would make these matters more clear, otherwise I would NOT.
