  • first i would like to say that i have used this company twice before with a good outcome. i reached out to george again for some additional work. after a few days of trying to contact george, we were finally able to schedule an appointment via angies list. george was on time and spent some time looking at projects to be completed and stated he would forward an estimate in a couple of days. i asked him to give me the estimate, minus supplies, because i can purchase supplies using military discount offered where he would purchase items. george forwarded estimate in a couple of days, which included supplies. i reminded george i asked for estimate without supplies due to discount. george stated he would forward that to me. it has been over a week and approx 10 attempts to contact him for estimate.... and not a single response from him.... i did notice that his email address contains the name of another company with majestic c&i under it... i have attempted to contact george via phone, text and email (2 different ones).... so i can only assume that: 1. he does not want to do further business 2. he does not want the customer to see what materials acually cost and what he is actually charging for labor very disappointed... i really liked this company. follow-up inresponse to contractor comments and continued lack of communication... 23 july 2018... after competion of projects, it is impossible to contact him unless you leave an unfavorable post on angieslist or home advisor or yelp... then he is quick to defend his lack of communication and justify it by pointing out customer faults... i have emailed everday for over a week to the email address he provided and received communication from him during projects or when he responds following a review he disagrees with... i contacted him to evaluate some cracks in a cement driveway installed less than a year ago... he eventually sent someone to look at it... then he told me he was researching filler and would contact me to schedule repair... the cracks or “fractures” are spreading... that was 4 june.... it is now 23 july... and not a word... i know you have all my contact information...

  • Great! Very quick response from the office to schedule estimate. George was right on time to provide the estimate and gave me various options for the repairs. The estimate was emailed to me that evening, as promised. We briefly discussed options that put the work in my budget and scheduled the work. Everything went like clockwork. Great communication with the office staff. Most of all, I found him to be extraordinarily trustworthy. I will definitely call them first next time I need any kind of handyman / construction work!

  • Marc and his crew are amazing. I have hired contractors before that are sloppy or "rough" or even some that are extremely unproffesional. None of this is true about this company. From the first time I met Marc and he looked at the job, I was shocked. He was clean, professional, friendly and didn't rush me like I was just another job. He took the time and answered my questions. His crew worked hard and they were very friendly and even answered some questions I had. I felt like I was part of the crew because they all kept me in the loop and I always knew what was going on. I highly recommend Marc, and my patio cover is gorgeous!

  • They did a great job with that and also added more drains to keep water way from the house if we have another incident. We also hired them to do the landscaping and they did a great job giving us a beautiful new front yard. If we encountered a problem, George always took care of it and went above and beyond what we expected.

  • The contractor arrived on time for appointments WITHOUT FAIL. Work was performed quickly and expertly. He offered suggestions, avoiding costly unnecessary replacement. The contractor and his workers were courteous and always left the work area clean.

  • Kevin did an amazing job in my book! Scheduled for A Saturday and I couldn't make it but supposing my my realtor showed up. He was thorough with his inspection and the reason that I know this for certain is because the same day he sent me the report. The report was several pages with detailed pictures and important comments and detailed pictures of key elements like the water heater and furnace. Highly recommended! A++

  • -We showed up about 10 minutes early and Sean was already there inspecting the roof and that was after he had inspected the perimeter (he was there much earlier) -Explained how the inspection would go an what we should expect with a breakdown of each area -Was thorough and patient during the entire (3+ hour) inspection. He encouraged questions and was able to provide answers that matched my (low level) of knowledge without being condescending -He is incredibly knowledgeable and confident in his work and it shows through his interaction. We had some friends in town when we did the inspection and he was completely fine having them along, as a true professional would. -The report was well written and easy to understand with reference pictures of issues and diagrams on how to remedy the problem. -Prompt, he had the report written by the time I went to sleep that night even though he could have taken much longer. - Don't be discouraged by lack of AL reviews. He is great at his job.

  • We are first time buyers and throughout the whole home buying process we did quite a bit of research, both on the internet and by watching various and quot;reality showsand quot; on TV. We were nervous and questioned many of the decisions we made. But I think one of the most difficult was which inspector to choose, particularly after watching shows like Holmes Inspection, a truly nightmare inducing horror story of what can go wrong if you have a bad inspector.

So after reading all of the reviews and phone call interviews to multiple inspectors, we decided on Chris Lowe at Imperial Home Inspection and we think that it was one of the single best decisions we've made so far, and have had no second thoughts about it at all. Here is some detail about the inspection.

The day of the inspection didn't start off great for my wife and I, we ended up being about 10 minutes late for the appointment, which is something that we try to never do, but it happened this day of all days. When we got there Chris was already there with our realtor, and he had already started on the exterior of the house. We walked over to where he was and made our introductions, then Chris asked us if we had any questions for him or any particular areas of concern before he continued with the inspection. We talked with him about a few things that concerned us, then he read the owners disclosure report that we had received a few days earlier. Then he resumed the inspection, I asked him if he minded if I followed him around, he said not at all. As he came across things that were notable, he took a picture or two, made a note into a voice recorder, and entered information into a laptop. Then he took time to explain to me what he saw, what the issue or possible issue was, and answered any questions I had right on the spot.

He checked everything, inside and out from the water heater to the AC unit to the heating unit, electrical system, plumbing, and appliances and more, patiently explaining and answering questions the whole time. The house is on a concrete foundation so there was no crawling under it, but I have no doubt that if it was raised he would have. He went up into the attic crawlspace and crawled from end to end, I know this because I went to the top of the ladder and stuck my head inside to see for myself how good (or bad) it looked up there. He even called out any issues he saw while up there, which surprised me because of the tight space and the fact that he was wearing a respirator. He also went up onto the roof to check it out (it was one of our extra concerns given the age of the roof). The reason that I'm making a special note about him getting on the roof is because it is a two story house and the roof has a very steep pitch so I thought that he might just do what I've read that a number of inspectors do and just look at it from the top of the ladder or worse from the ground, but he went all the way up onto it and took many pictures for us.

After he was finished with the inspection he loaded the pictures onto his laptop and went over everything again with my wife and our realtor, going picture by picture and explaining everything to us again, because I was the only one that followed him around the whole time, they took breaks so didn't see everything the first time. When he was done we paid him which was a simple process because he has a credit card reader that attaches to his phone.

When all was said and done we were surprised to see that four hours had passed, he really took his time and we never felt that he rushed at any point. We thanked him and he said that we would receive the report via email the next day, and he was true to his word because we did. The report was easy to read and understand and it stated that we should call if we had any questions. There were a few questions that we came up with after having time to think about the things we talked about during the inspection and after reading the report, so we called and left a message with Susan. She told us that if he wasn't in the middle of an inspection he would call us right back, and if he was he would call us as soon as he was available. He got back to us quickly and answered all of our questions with the same kindness and professionalism that he had the previous day.

I highly recommend Chris for anybody looking for a great home inspector, I realize that this is a long review, but I just wanted to make sure that the point came across that our experience with him was A+ across the board.

  • This is the 3rd escrow and house inspection I've had this year. The other two escrows fell through but I think this one is going to close. Tim Spargo is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. The inspection took about 2 hours to complete and yet the time flew by, because Tim is a very funny and pleasant guy. I called Tim because I wanted him to do the home inspection but had been told the GAS wasn't going to be on until the end of November which was going to push everything back. Tim offered to do the majority of the inspection and then he would come back to inspect the remainder at the end of the month, when the GAS was on. He covered everything inside and out, welcomed all questions and explained everything in terms I could easily understand. He told my agent and I he would have the report to us by the following Monday morning and he was true to his word.

  • Josh Fries performed a home inspection on a property we are purchasing. He was recommnended by our real estate agent. Josh was professional and very thorough explaining and showing us the repairs needed on the property as well as making suggestions. We would recommned his company and plan on hiring him for some of the repairs needed, too.
