The first time I called Allstar Plumbing they came out that day and were able to extend the propane line out further, where the valve was more accessible.  They also replaced the leaking valve.  Allstar did a great job.  I had the propane company back out that same day to turn on our propane, but they found another leak, outside our garage, in a propane pipe that was going into the ground.  Allstar Plumbing came out again the next day, and had to replace the propane pipe that had rotted out.  Allstar dug up the pipe and replaced it that same day, even though they had to order special parts.  When they finished the repair, we were able to get our propane hooked up again.  We have hot water!

They were very nice and professional.  I would definitely recommend them to others.  They were very reasonable.  They had a monitor to check the amount of propane we are using in the house hold and charge for how much we use.  They did a nice work.  They were right on time.  I will definitely use them again in the future.

The job went well. We thought it would take a day but realized it takes a bit longer. The technician, Julio, was always professional, courteous,, and puntual. He explained how he would fix the problem and where he would have to reroute the pipe line thru the bottom portion of the house. He found the leak by the washer. He proceeded to make holes in the garage ceiling to reroute the pipe thru the house having to cut holes in the downstairs bath room, bedroom, and family room. The main water valve for the house was shut down for a day but Julio left us with cold water after the first day of work. On the second day he was able to complete the rerouting using up-to-date materials to secure the water line. Mind you, he spent the whole two days working. He also found a gas leak but recommended we may have to find another company to work on this problem. I appreciated his honesty.Turns out there were a few leaks.

I think they did a good job. When I had some questions they were pretty nice. They seemed to be doing a decent job. They didn't try to tell me that things were wrong that were not. They came on the weekend.

When my mother-in-law's gas was turned off, the gas company technician who turned it back on noted problems with the hot water heater. When I called, Vicki returned my call promptly and within days sent someone to my mother-in-law's house in Texas, who then called me and informed me of all the problems he saw. These closely matched what the gas company had reported. When I asked about a tankless water heater, he told me that it would be too much for house and would not pay for itself over the life of the house. I was impressed by his honesty. He also found asbestos, which had to be removed before the new water heater could be installed. I appreciated this, as my mother-in-law's safety is my primary concern. The next day, they removed the asbestos and installed the new hot water heater. Vicki called me the day after with the total price and e-mailed me an invoice. She was extremely professional. We will call again for any future plumbing projects in Texas.
