    Foodflo
Flo is a godsend. Her kindness, compassion, and professionalism are unrivaled. She has a welcoming and motherly air about her (she is a mom, after all) but is also firm, skilled, and intelligent. She's exceptionally compassionate about the special needs of others and will bend over backwards to accommodate if she can.  I'm already a home cook but I feel that I can safely say that Flo's advice regarding food has absolutely made me a healthier person. I've been seeing Flo for about 3 weeks now and I can already feel a huge difference. Her plant-based diet suggestions are wonderful and she has so many creative ideas about ways to use vegetation! I have never seen somebody know their way around cashews the way she does, haha! She's also given me some awesome tips about how to use kitchen tools correctly - she's taught me new knife techniques, how to efficiently use a peeler, and how to prepare and store all the produce I could possibly need to have an efficient and clean-run kitchen of my own.  Flo has also directed me to some really interesting outside sources relating to health and nutrition. She's like an encyclopedia of nutritional chemical know-how (alkaline/acidic water types are FASCINATING and I wouldn't have been exposed to that kind of information without having met her). So, would I recommend Flo's services? GOD YES. Because of her, I've not only become a healthier person, I've also gained a new friend!

    Dream Dinners - Thousand Oaks
I went to Dream Dinners in Thousand Oaks which was really great. We went because it was an introductory offer, but they have different things each month. They have different menus and things, so basically it's not like a cooking class. You go there and you prepare dinner. They have all the ingredients there, all the spices and things, and the directions. You get it all ready and then you pack it up and you bring it home and put it in your freezer so that it's all prepared when you want to pull something out in a hurry and you don't have to stand there and measure everything out. It's all done for you. It's a different concept. It's not an actual cooking class. It was excellent and it was immaculate and everything was there and they were there to assist you, so it was a good experience for people who want to do that. We haven't got to test it out at the full price. They give you a special deal the first time you go which was very good.

    Southbay Cooking
It was a gift certificate that I had gotten. It is like $75 to take a class. I liked it. The chef injected some humor into the cooking lesson. She was very practical and told us where we could go to buy the ethnic ingredients. We were given recipes when we left so we could go home and cook. The food was delicious. The classes were small enough so it was intimate. Everybody got to do part of the cooking process. I enjoyed it but I probably wouldn’t treat myself to it. There are a lot more expensive places. It was a brand new kitchen and facility that was custom built. They were very professional.

Pink Sparrow Cooking Parties & Catering
It went very well and it was nice. I learned a lot and enjoyed it. The in-home aspect really connected with me and allowed me to take that deal. The price was fair.
