    I originally only planned to have the air ducts cleaned, but after Shawn���s pre-inspection, it turned out I needed the pipes replaced. Since my place is 34 years old, I decided to have the work done. Shawn seemed very knowledgeable in his feel of business, so I decided to have him do the work. I was so pleased with his work and professionalism, I decided to have them install an air conditioner too. Everyone was very professional and I am very pleased with their work.

    Came out for estimate. We agreed on a day and time. On that day, was on time and ready to get to work with all required tools/machinery. Even crawled under the house to check on the vent hose for the clothes dryer. Advised of a problem with this hose, which I very much appreciated as we were unaware of this! Professional, courteous, and cleaned up all areas after work was completed. Well worth the money!

    Sean was prompt in scheduling the appointment, showed up on time. he was going to clean our ac ducts and vents. I also had him clean the ac return line at an additional cost from the Angie's list deal. I also had him do a Furnace service which entailed cleaning the furnace fan and making sure it was burning ok. When it was all cone i could tell the ac vents were blowing more air thru. My house is only 1100sqft. and It took about 2 hours to all the work.
    paid a total of $240 for all the work. i would recommend him he is clean and follows thru.

    I recommend highly against this company. While the prices seemed fair, the tech did not seem competent (in being a tech, he was a very good salesman) and the tune-up/inspection was incomplete. When they arrived to do the work they were fairly professional. They looked at my system very briefly, did not perform a temperature delta test between supply and return, did not clean any part of the system. They almost immediately pointed out the older flex ducts and recommended replacing them. While I realized airflow was poor on some registers and rooms were cooled unevenly (when the system worked properly), I stated that I didn't want to spend that kind of money on the repairs. The tech used every sales trick in the book, from assumed selling, to the "friends and family" discount, to "since I really like you", to "we'll wait while you call your wife and discuss it", they teamed up to pressure-sell the duct replacement. First I had them just top off (3lbs) of freon and call it a day. I finally gave in, signed up for a sort of credit card, and scheduled the installation.
    The major project I had them perform, an R6 flex-duct replacement in my attic, was done poorly. I treated the installers well, providing a safe telescoping ladder, a clean bathroom, and a pitcher of ice-cold water... and they provided me with shoddy duct work, which I found out much later. Anyway, after the duct installation my system still didn't run well. I asked this company to come back and complete the inspection/tune-up, an appointment that was forgotten once and rescheduled three times. Punctuality fail. Now I've called the office a couple times, promised callbacks which never happened. Oh yeah, and they didn't cover my supply registers during the duct install, so now there's fiberglass insulation and other attic debris all over my carpets.
    When they finally came back to complete my tune-up/inspection (the same guy) he complained about being sent out after hours (his fault, having forgotten and rescheduled my appointment repeatedly), briefly performed a temperature delta test with an IR thermometer, didn't tell me what he found, then placed his hand over the running heat pump and said it wasn't hot enough. He told me the system was incredibly old and needed to be replaced. I then pointed out the heat pump he was looking at was only 2.5 years old. He was surprised and sort of taken aback, and said he wouldn't work on it because it was manufactured in Mexico and it was a brand (Payne, part of Carrier) he didn't recognize.
    Since then I've had three significantly more reputable HVAC companies inspect my system, and all three of them found, without me prompting or hinting them, that the duct work looked crappy. They each pointed out that they used duct tape instead of metal tape to secure the return duct to the air handler, and they didn't use any sort of sealer. All three made other similar comments about the ducts. All three pointed out that the compressor was probably fine, the coolant pressure was vastly too high, and that the system was overcharged with refrigerant, which could damage the system. All three agreed that the problem was the old (probably original, 25yrs) air handler whose coil was iced over after hours of operation, and that it should be replaced. None of this was found/mentioned by Indoor Air Quality.
    Anyway, some more phone tag and an excessively long email later, IAQ has the balls to try to bid for my air handler replacement after the experience I told them about, and they're convinced I'm going to allow them to come over and fix my ducts, and probably sell me a $1000 UV lamp or something stupid.
    Point is, this company is way more interested in selling you stuff than with making you comfortable. Once they saw the opportunity to secure a $3k sale, they no longer had any interest in preventing my poor 7-months-pregnant wife from being miserably hot and sweaty in our own home. Take warning, and stay away from Indoor Air Quality - Calabasas.

    Called for service and Brian came out the same day.  He arrived right on time and cleaned all 9 air ducts, then cleaned the
    chiminey.  No complaints.  Friendly and cleaned up all the mess.  I will use this company again for my next service.

    Called Air Duct Professionals left a message on the answering machine.  Received a call back within 30 minutes.  Scheduled an appt. with them to come out and clean the air ducts on that following Wednesday.  Had to call them back to reschedule because of a forgotten appt.  They were to come out on that Friday between 10 and 12.  At 9:30 we received a call saying they had a problem with one of the vans and were unable to show up.  He was very apologetic and rescheduled for Saturday between 9 and 10 a.m.   The technician showed as promised and did a thorough job.  He was very polite, respectful and clean.
    Originally, when I called he told me he would give me the coupon price even though it expired that day.  He also didn't charge me for the main vent.  And because they were unable to show up on Friday, because the van broke down.  He threw in a re-usable filter.

    The worker came on time and was friendly. He clean the air vents, vacuum the vents, and clean the dryer ducts. He did very good work and was professional. He went above and beyond by checking a noise that I ask to check in the attic.

    Jorge called to ask if he could arrive early for our appointment - fine by me!  He showed up and was very efficient about getting down to business.  We reviewed the work to be done and he set right on it.  He explained the process and was responsive to my concerns (we bought the house a couple of years ago and had never had the ducts clean so I felt they might have been filthy).  The cleaning took less time than estimated and the difference was instantly noticable in the performance and out put of our A/C system.  The filter was replace and he told me how to properly care for it so that I wouldn't have to see him for another 2 years.  He cleaned up and moved the furnature back into place before taking off.  He even left me a mouse pad!  Outstanding service from beginning to end.

    Making the appointment was easy. The crew arrived on time and worked a full day.I have a large home so it was a big job. The guy sold me on custom filters, but I was hesitent because I wasn't sure how to install them. He said he would come out and show me when they came in, I did tell him I would reimburse him for his time since this guy came from Moreno Valley (BIG MISTAKE).
    Well, I was called by this guys niece while I was in MS June 19 to let me know the filters were in. I told her to call me in 5 days I would be home.  A week later I called the number she left and left a message that I was home. I didn't hear anything July 3rd my father passed away so I had family things going on, but I never received a call back (I left two messages at this time). On 7-18-12 I called the owner at the main number. I was really concerned that I had these flimsy "temp" filters in my units now for going on 3 months and I was running my air conditioners (I have 3). The owner was great and he got the guy on it immediately. He asked if he could come down the next day (7-19-12) at 10 -11 am I knew I had something going on but I had my assistant at my home so I knew she could let him in.
    So I'm driving to my appointment and I get a call from my 12 y/o son. He telling me the guy needs to be paid. I told him to I paid in full 2337.00 on 5-10-12. No, he wants his "trip charge" for the installation. I was like WHAT ?... really ? OK how much 175.00 . He said because gas is high from Moreno Valley. Mind you I have a handy man I hire for 30.00/hr that would have done that.  I agreed to a small fee. I guess you should keep that in mind when hiring these guys that a trip charge to install CUSTOM filters that you ordered from them costs to get them put in as well.
    I was really upset ...because the FIRST excuse this guy used for not getting back to me was Brittany (his niece) had a death in the family. YEA...I was not in the frame of mind to hear that, since my father just died...FOR REAL. Then he told me she moved to No.CA .  I had also left the message that they didn't put the Bathroom exhaust fan cover on in the front guest BR. The bathroom is one of 7 and is the front of the house and really used so it's not a daily reminder.
    I was so flustered by the fact I got the run around and the enormous "trip charge" that I forgot to tell him to put the exhaust cover back on. So I have to hire someone to do that now AND to top it off I wrote a check (I told him I would put it in the mail that day) they don't have a complete address on their invoices...on angies list OR their website. So since I was here looking for an address to send this crazy check to I thought I would do my review.  ANOTHER cost is calling my plumber out to check on a gas line that he messed with.  He put on the receipt that he fixed a leaking gas line on the furnace (no charge). I just had the water heaters and furnaces checked (I did a wonderful review on those guys) . I have a nose like a hound dog. I smell gas really easily. I had been using that garage and I would have smelled it....UNLESS he knocked it...don't know for sure.
    SO Bottom line...I was a full day job that cost 2512.00 I would have been happier if I had better communication and that follow up and through was good.
    He did what a lot of contractors do to me...Look at my big house then find a way to gouge me.  NOW this is not the owner, but one of his Sub's. again the owner seemed really nice and on the ball.
    I will upload pictures of the exhaust fan in my VERY formal bathroom. You can see how they had to have just rushed out to not have noticed the cover on my Gold sink.

    WANTED TO ADD THAT ED MACK THE OWNER CALLED ME BACK WITH MY CONCERNS... He is VERY professional and seems very honest. I am an employer and I know that you can't always be everywhere, but the buck stops with the owner. I am hoping that his subcontractor has learned not to have his teenage assist in charge of his contacts. The lack of communication is an issue. My fan cover is STILL not on the ceiling, but when I get started on my other projects I will have it fixed.
