    Considerate Tree Care Inc
This company was very helpful in getting two giant ficus trees under control. Ironically, they did not do the job, but encouraged myself and my family to get the mobile home park to take the responsibility to fix the problem. They were helpful in giving us a probable cost and evaluating that the trees were indeed a problem beyond maintenance issues, even though they knew they probably would not get the job themselves. Kudos for social responsibility.

    A Passion For Gardening
It was fair. They are not equipped with high quality equipment. No shredder so had to make trips to a disposable place. It was probably not near by because the truck was home quite awhile. I ended up paying them about the same I paid Angie's List.

    San Diego Tree Guy
Arrived on time with the required equipment. Discussed what I wanted done and they set out to accomplish that. Originally had job for three lemon trees to be trimmed but when I asked about doing some palms they gave me a great price.

Removed all debris and cleaned up the area when done. I will make sure I keep their card because I will definitely use them again.

    John's Quality Landscaping
I contacted John (owner) on a Tuesday to set-up an estimate.  He came out to my house that Saturday to accommodate my work schedule and provided a free estimate.  We discussed removal of broken and dead trees that covered a steep hill in my backyard, as well as, trimming a large tree in my backyard and front yard that were overgrown and reviving my dead lawn.  He was very helpful and knowledgeable and offered additional assistance with pruning my roses that had been neglected by my previous landscapers and checking that all my sprinklers were working properly.  He originally quoted the entire project for $1850 which I found a great deal if you could see how many dead trees were on my hill.  He came out with his crew the following week and completely finished all the work on my hill in one day.  I was informed that many of my sprinklers were broken and some of the water lines were not hooked up properly.  He charged me an additional $350 for parts, but again I thought this was very reasonable for all the extra work and care they took in making sure everything was running properly.  They completed everything the next day and even set-up the automatic timer for my sprinklers so I didn't have to figure it out.  They were very efficient and left the property very clean with no mess for me to clean up.

John and I also discussed planting a few flowers to give my yard some color since I am putting my house up for sale, and bi-weekly maintenance until my house sold.  He told me his son took care of that and had him contact me the next week.  Again, his son (John) came out on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule to discuss what I wanted done.  He sent me pictures the next week of options for various flowers so I could pick out what I preferred.  The next day he planted a palm tree and beautiful flowers around my pond in the backyard, which really made it beautiful.  He also planted some snapdragons in the front yard and covered up an exposed pipe that was an eye sore.  He was very helpful and even made sure to save me money on the cost of the palm tree and flowers.  The job was completed in less than 2 hours.  He is going to continue my routine yard maintenance.  It has been only a few weeks and not only does my yard look beautiful, but my grass is actually green again!!  I would highly recommend John and his son for all your landscaping needs.  It is very refreshing to find a landscaping company that is experienced and knowledgeable about plants and trees and offer advice when needed.

    Considerate Tree Care Inc
Joseph came and gave us a very extensive consultation about the trees and what he felt should be done. He also encouraged us to get estimates from other companies and gave us information about questions we should ask before having anyone do the work.
The trimmers, Jodie and Todd,  came on the day scheduled, even arriving 15 minutes early and had most of the work done by
the time they left that day.  Joe also came that day and talked with us and the workers about the work and our plans to install
solar panels.  They came a few minutes early again the next day to complete the cleanup and were
done in a few hours. They were friendly, courteous and efficient and worked very hard. When they finished, Joseph came to
verify that everything was completed and cleaned up and  that we were happy with the work. The job was completed in the time promised and at the price quoted, even though we asked them to cut the trees shorter than originally discussed to help with
    our planned solar installation.
My husband and I are very pleased with Considerate Tree Care and the job they did and we will recommend them to others.

They did a fine job! The guys were clean and picked up after themselves. They lived up to deal requirements. I asked them to leave the materials and the obliged. They were very helpful. They even dropped off some of their mulch for me.

    LC Tree Service Inc.
I called LC Tree Service Inc. last week and left a message. Within a couple of hours they called me back. I believe his name was Ryan (I apologize if I got your name wrong!). He was very professional over the phone and scheduled a consultation for Monday (7/28/2014).
On Monday, Ryan arrived right at the scheduled time; he was very professional and friendly. Before I could even point to the tree I am thinking of removing, Ryan pointed to the tree next to my drive way and asked whether that was the three I had told him about over the phone. I was kind of impressed by that because it showed me that he came to the consultation already prepared; this showed me just how professional he is. I proceeded to explain to him that the roots from the tree were damaging the private road where I live, and that the road needed to be repaved. Therefore, I would like to remove the tree so that the tree will not damage the newly paved road. I briefly explained to him that other arborists, with whom I had spoken, told me that the tree would not survive if that portion of the root was removed. Ryan proceeded to explain that could be the case only if a large portion of the root system under the road was removed. However, the tree would be fine if only the root that damaged the road was severed. He explained to me how wide the circumference of the root system under the tree probably is given the size of the tree, and that severing only one root would not pose that big of a problem. Additionally, Ryan suggested that I cut some of the branches and thin out the top of the tree to reduce the stress on it, which is consistent with what other arborists had told me. He added that if I were to do that, I should do it between fall and winter, which is also consistent with what other arborists had told me.
Ryan told me that trimming the tree would be much cheaper than removing it. As a costumer, I certainly appreciated his honesty about that, because he could have easily given me an expensive quote which would have allowed him to make more money. Instead, he was honest with me and advised me that going with the cheaper option would be better, safer and quicker. Another demonstration of his honesty and good will to do what is best for the customer was when the pointed out that instead of removing the big pine tree, I should probably remove the medium size palm tree I have next to my drive way, which he could do it or that I could easily do it myself too. Then he proceed to explain how I could remove the palm tree on my own and the best way to dump it. He also noted that there was another pine tree that I should consider removing before any other tree, because it was growing and rubbing against the roof of my house. He explained that sooner or later the pine tree would grow around the roof corner and make that corner part of the tree, and once that happened it would be a nightmare to remove that tree and it would cause severe damages to my roof. Again, he said that he could remove that tree for me, or that I could do it myself, and he proceed to explain to me how I could remove the tree on my won.
Overall, I was really pleased with my interaction with Ryan. Although he did not service our tree yet, he provided an outstanding costumer service and a great free consultation. Without a doubt Ryan is very knowledgeable about what he does. Additionally, he prioritizes saving trees when possible over cutting them down when it is unnecessary to do so. I really liked that about him because my family values that as well. Additionally, I really appreciated his honesty and desire to share his knowledge with costumers so they can do the job themselves if they see fit.
Thank you, Ryan, for all your great advise! I look forward to doing business with you in the future.
