    Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen
It went extremely well. It was a little higher in price than what I expected originally but was worth every cent. Mary, the designer was excellent in suggesting options for us to choose from. The PM Brett was on top of everything and always checked in with me to make sure I was happy. Job Well Done! A+++ rating

    Krugh Custom Services
After finally getting through to set up initial appointment (wrong email address listed) David came by and we went over list of projects and stressing the short time available for some of the project list, David said he'd get back to me with a quote. I waited 5 days before contacting him. He said he'd have a quote for me the next morning. I checked the next evening, no quote, I emailed/texted David, he again said he'd have it for me the following morning, I again waited until the evening, still no quote. I texted him on the next day (Saturday) and he said he'd have it for me in about 4 hours. I never heard from him again. If David wasn't interested in the projects he should have said so asap. There is/was a lack of customer service and professionalism on his part. which is sad as I did like him and probably would have hired him (if it worked for my time frame and budget of course).

    WOOLSEY CONSTRUCTION
Highly recommend Woolsey Construction! After a few personal recommendations we called WC to repair our slab leak. This was our first time hiring a contractor and so glad that we called WC. Luke took the time to help us assess the situation and walked us through our options and the eventual process. The bid was reasonable and we had piece of mind that we were in good hands and working with a good team. The project was completed within the expected timeframe and budget. The work was completed as expected and the workers were respectful, organized and clean. Thank you again very much!

    Re-Pipe Masters

The water pressure, especially the hot water, in our house was terrible. I realized that we needed to replace the piping, but was afraid I couldn't afford to because our house is so large.

I got several estimates, and the best was from Bill Singh at Global Plumbing. The replacement included three complete bathrooms, two kitchens, a laundry room, and all outside spigots.

A team of eight men arrived at 8:30 a.m. They turned off the water at 9 a.m. They spread out throughout the house, locating all the hidden pipes. They had to cut quite a few holes in the drywall, but they explained all of this ahead of time and made sure I understood what they were doing.

They ran new PEX piping to every location and put new 1/4-turn valves on everything. This was a huge relief since I'd been worried about causing a leak if I had to turn off one of the old valves at a toilet or sink. There were a couple of locations where the old valves were wedged inside the interior of the cabinet, and were impossible to turn, and Bill's men re-positioned them so that they can now be turned on and off.

The holes they had cut in the walls were being patched as fast as the new pipes were installed.  By 3:30 p.m., the new piping was all in, the holes were all patched, and the water was turned back on, with no leaks. I couldn't believe it!

The hole patching didn't include texturing and paint, and since I didn't want to do that myself, I hired half of Bill's crew to come out the next day to do that part. By the end of that day, you couldn't even tell there had ever been any holes in the wall.

Two weeks later, I had Bill's crew come back to replace the old cast iron pipe from the house to the water meter. This was not an easy job, since the water meter is in the middle of our cement driveway. Everything was completed during that day. It is so wonderful to finally have excellent water pressure!

What I liked best about Global Plumbing was that I felt they had complete knowledge of all aspects of their job, and I felt like I could trust them to accomplish their job, and handle any problems that might come up. I also had complete trust in their professionalism and was comfortable with them having the run of my house.

I plan on using them for any other plumbing problems, or new service, I might need.

    Lifetime Custom Painting
I have relied on Lifetime Custom Painting for over three years.  Whenever I call, they are extremely friendly and come to my home within a few days to prepare their bid.  They have painted both the inside and outside of my home and done some repair to various areas, including drywall.  The employees have been extremely friendly, polite and helpful even when I change my mind.  That is one of the things I like about this company.  The job is done very well, and cleanup is good, which means a lot to me.

    Quick Rooter-Quick Repair
I bought a special deal on Angie's list and paid for it up front but Cox Rooter
Plumbing never contacted me to schedule a time to come by. When I called him he said he would call
me right back but never did. I want my money back because he never did
    any services.

    Top Design Inc
Removal of fireplace (metal free-standing) quick, they had difficulty with the stone wall and hearth but did a great job taking it out. All removed waste material needed to be loaded into their van (removal of all their tools and supplies. Luckily our back porch was available and there were no problems with theft (good neighborhood). They should have had a dumpster or dump trailer for the several loads of waste removed. The removal caused slight cracking on the exterior stucco which they repaired.

Removal of old lighting and wiring to switches, which was completed. Installation of new light wiring for kitchen, dining and 2 perimeter lights. Installation of recessed lights after ceiling was completed. The recessed lighting fixtures are small and when I asked prior to purchase and installation, I had asked if they were the R30 size fixtures but R20 size were supplied and installed. With all the other difficulties, I decided not to have them replace them, concerned with additional damage and ???.
The lighting in the kitchen was so low in lighting, I just replaced them with 5and quot; Led and finially can see what we are doing in the kitchen.
They ordered a Milgard 6/ sliding dual pane door with internal mullins. It took about 3 weeks to get it and at the start we agreed they would not start demo until the slider was there. This original project was to take 2 weeks to complete. They started work the next week without the slider being delivered. They removed the fireplace, covered the open walls and installed the drywall on the ceiling and removed the tile floors in the dining room and kitchen. They had to stop for over a week, leave our home in this condition and wait for the slider to come in. They did not want to start the drywall patching because of the work of demo and wall replacement at the sliding door, so nothing got closed up during that time.

The Milgard door came in and was installed. It was so difficult to slide, we had the installer, Top Design team check it and then they called a Milgard representative to come check it. Everyone agreed that it did not work correctly, the internal mullins were crooked, the slider portion of the door was too close for the sliding door and it was causing grooves in the sliding section. They decided to replace the door (several day process). A replacement door was going to be another 3 to 4 weeks to order, but they could get one without the internal mullins within a few days. We decided to just take the one that was in stock. At the time of ordering the replacement door, we also ordered a replacement window for the kitchen (additional cost), which was a short lead item. When it came out, in about a week, the door was installed and is still harder to slide then everyone told us it would be but we are now in week 4 or 5. The door and window were install and the interior and exterior walls were drywalls and stucco prepped.

The interior drywall was ready to be finished and the drywaller patched all the walls and ceiling for texture. The exterior was started with a scratch and brown coat. Texture on the ceiling was so thin that after a primer paint and 2 coats of finish paint (supplied by us), I did an additional coat of paint and it still looks bad, but the time and efforts are against us getting an improved look, so we left it, week 6. The exterior stucco color or finish coat was applied and painted (paint by them). The paint did not match and the wall looked like it had been badly patched. The Field Supervisor, Rafael Levi (the only positive thing about the project, meeting him) agreed that the exterior patch was bad. He had a stucco company come out and it took most on one day for them to grind the wall down smooth and then apply the correct material and installation. They painted it the following day with the correct color and you cannot tell it was ever patched (Great Job Guys)!

I would not use or recommend them.

Ken and all the tradespeople were kind and thoughtful as well as professional.  They cleaned up after themselves and made quick-work of the task at hand.  The whole process went smooth and the job finished faster than we had imagined.  Our daily lives weren't affected by the project; even our neighbors commented about how quickly work progressed.
