It couldn't have gone any better. Acuity is exceedingly meeting expectations and I feel things could have not gone better. Phone calls were returned prior to me reaching out! That's right. I was returning phone calls to them and instead of them returning my calls. I was painted a picture of possible end results and was very pleasantly surprised with the end results. If I were aware of how professional and quick acting Acuity was I would have hired them long ago and not procrastinated on the decision to move forward with a Security Company. The only thing I would change is the fact I took so long to initiate the phone call with them.... if I had it to do over again I would have reached out and lowered my stress much sooner than I had already done. Put your trust in Acuity and let them stress for you.

They responded quickly, followed up with emails, shipped quickly to me & I was able to install it quickly and easily.  You cannot beat the price.  You don't have to sign up with a contract.  It works great!  They sent me enough for 3 doors and 1 window.  I got 4 devices for my sensors, and the tower.  They offer monthly monitoring for a very low price as well.

When we bought our new house, one of the first things we looked into was getting a home security system.
After doing several comparisons and reading reviews (including Angie's List), we settled on FrontPoint Security.
When we were looking at what options we wanted, we noticed Angie's List had several Big Deals, but none of them had the exact configuration of components that we wanted.  So we decided to call FrontPoint directly to talk to a sales rep to see what they could do.
The sales rep that we got in touch with was super nice and helpful.  What she did is after we gave her the list of components/features we wanted and explained that none of the packages available had those exact ones was to have us purchase the Big Deal for the one that was the closest and she was able to change out some of the components of the standard package for the ones we wanted at no extra cost.   This was great because the Big Deal we went with ($199) saved us quite a bit compared to if we would have bought the components individually from them directly.
After we got everything ordered, the components came about a week later and was super easy to set up and install everywhere.  It took a couple of calls to FrontPoint to get activated (the subsequent calls were more just follow-up questions we had on some of the advanced automation features) and everyone we dealt with on the setup were super helpful, professional and polite.
Since we got everything setup (I purposely waited a few months before writing the review), it's been great.  We did have to replace one faulty sensor, but the process of getting it swapped out was painless.
Overall, we've been very happy with not only the service of FrontPoint, but the overall features and connectivity of it.  The only thing that may be a little daunting for some folks is that you do set up the system yourself (no professional installation) -- but literally if you can install a sticky command hook on a wall and an operate a cable tv box, you have enough skill to do the "install" yourself.
Every touchpoint we've had with FrontPoint was pleasant, polite and professional -- and that kind of customer service consistency is very rare these days.  Definitely an A+ provider with A+ service!

Give them an F, it doesn't work. I just wasted my money on that. I hired someone to come over here. I asked them if they would come out and they said, "well, you're calling the wrong number" and they never returned any of my calls and I emailed them. I paid someone to come over and put it together and he said to throw it away. I will not use that company again. I paid the guy that  came over here $150 to set it up and he charged me $100 and said don't bother. I don't buy much from Angie's List anymore because I haven't had that quite an experience. SimpliSafe Home Security never returned  my call and they should have. I would have grade their price fine but since it doesn't work, I just wasted $199.

Mr Wald called us and set up an appointment to see our situation and give us a quote.  When he came out he was very polite and gave us a quote of around $2100 to install all the camers etc.  We said it was more than we could afford at this time and after a little rehashing of the quote he said how about $1500.  We said that was still to much for us at this time and thanked him. He left but called us later offering us a small down payment of around $600 and three additional monthly payments of $300.  We thought the price was more than fair, but we couldn't afford the $600 at this time and we'd contact him later to do the job.  He kept calling and lowering the price and saying he could work with us.  Finally he said he had a cancellation of some video cameras by another customer and would make us a deal we couldn't believe selling us everything at his cost and just a little profit for his labor and the total cost would only be $675.  He wanted $300 down and the balance the following week after installation.  He said that this was a special favor to his sister (my wifes hair stylist) and he really wanted to help us catch the jerk next door who's been harassing us. We paid him the $300 and that was the last we saw of him.  We called several times and everytime he said he would be over to do the job and never showed or he would say he'd call back and set up a time to do the work, but wouldn't call back.  Finally I threatened him with legal action and he said that he was broke and that he owned Radio Shake a bunch of money for a job he had bid and gotten a deposit on and never did the work.  He said times were tough and sorry. We got scammed from the get go, it was all just a lie and he keep lowering the price until we finally gave him the deposit money. He had no intention of doing the work he offered. I  am also contacting the local police dept. and letting them know about his little scam. Avoid this company if you don't want to get ripped off.
