Roofing reviews in Lake Elsinore

  • Excellent. Brad provided a competitive estimate with a detailed proposal of the materials and work his crew would perform to replace a 12" X 27' roof. Brad and his crew took extra measures to ensure that no leaks would occur in the future. He even removed any nails that were visible on the underside of the roof. Workmanship was outstanding, all debris was removed and patio was swept clean.

  • it all started with a roof leak. The concrete tiles on our 25 year old roof were slipping and many were cracked. the substandard underlayment was dried out, cracked and crumbling. Out of 5 bids, Jarco had the best solutions and worked well with us to answer our questions and offer strategies to reduce the heat in our attic, thereby lowering our electric bill. We opted to replace the old roof with newer, lighter weight concrete tile and metal rakes, radiant barrier, vented eaves and special batten strips. The removal crew arrived at 7:15 AM and removed nearly 40,000 pounds of concrete tile and all old underlayment by 12:30! We pulled a permit and the inspector arrived at 1 PM. Two pallets of new underlayment arrived at 2:30. The crew replaced the roof vents, installed the new system over the next couple of days (with breaks for rainy days) picked up the trash at the end of each workday, and even went over the lawn with a big magnet to catch any stray nails. The workers were courteous, polite, jovial and demonstrated considerable expertise. Jarco's project manager stayed with us throughout the job, answering questions, updating the schedule and went out of his way to be helpful. The bid was quite reasonable, mid range in the five quotes, but had the best customer service, on time crews, and friendly relationships. Replacing a roof is a scary prospect, and you definitely can't go wrong with Jarco.

  • Today, I'm still looking for a roofer. I didn't realize that I had called Extreme Roofing previously and was contemplating on calling them again until I saw I had previously used their services. I don't like to criticize a business but I suppose that's how we weed out the bad ones. Anyway, when I called this company, the guy came out but didn't seem like he wanted to do the job. Couldn't get him to go up into the attic and look for any signs of a leak. He did look at the roof and gave an estimate of $600 but I didn't know if that would solve the problem or not. I had no confidence in this person and felt like I'd be wasting my money.

  • Jon and his son installed seamless aluminum rain gutters. They showed up on time for both estimate and install day. The quality of work was outstanding and fast. No hidden costs. Loved the level of professionalism Jon and his son have. Will use them again on my next home.

  • In October I called eight to ten different roofers for a bid, many didn't call back or were to busy. Since major rains are forecast, I understood the busy part and once had three bids decided to go with Roof RX. Their first available appointment to do the job was December 28th and work was finished December 30th.
Richmond who did the repairs showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and advised us thru out the job what he was doing. Last night we had major water coming in thru the bathroom vent, porch is still leaking and what looks to be issues in two other areas. I called early this morning, left a message and was called back a couple hours later. The representative advised me that the soonest someone would be out to check the roof would be January 26th, but he would email upper management to try and get a sooner appointment. When I expressed my concerns.... I was told they are very busy, but he would make sure upper management was aware of the situation.
The representative coming on the 26th only assess"s the situation, the work is done at another time. My son purchased a tarp so we can cover the bathroom roof so hopefully no more water come in. The reason I didn't give Roof RX a F was because we aren't having any issues with the other areas that were worked on. Once this all plays out I will write a second review with my final ratings.
This is a update to my review, I have downgraded to F my ratings. Apparently top priority was January 29th, after repeated unreturned calls on my end was able to get someone out then instead of the original date of February 5th. All calls from this company were in regards to rescheduling appointments that could not be kept for various reasons. Since we had no rain during this period, I am at loss as to why this was.
When the inspector arrived , I was advised additional work would need to be done to stop leaks, part of which would involve reroofing. All at an additional extremely high cost, since work is warrentied for one year, this was not acceptable and arrangements were made to redo area of bathroom leak, reroof patio and decline other work. My question is since we were told these are certified inspectors, why were we not advised that a patch may not work. The next day we decided to cancel the patio work because of this and the additional cost.  At this point we are still waiting on the refund of our ten percent payment for the canceled work, despite being told accounting had all paperwork and per the contract we should have had our refund by the 19th.
The warranty work was done on 15th, again after repeated rescheduling, unreturned calls and emails. Since it has only rained once we are not sure yet if the issues were taken care of.  I would not recommend this company to anyone and am considering further action if my issues are not resolved.

  • Wow. Talked to Jan in the front office and she was incredibly helpful in getting the inspection scheduled. The inspector was prompt in showing up for the inspection and I had the estimate in hand later that afternoon. Scheduling the actual repair was just as easy. I signed the quote and sent it back to the inspector. Had a phone call the next day to schedule the repair. Repairman was on time and efficient. He even showed me the before and after photos.

    Berry is highly recommended!

  • I contacted Weathertight Roofing, Inc. to come out and give an estimate on the work we needed done, but they, along with all the roofers on Angie's List were too far away to help us with such a small repair. However, Weathertight recommended a roofer very close to our house and we were very happy with the service, responsiveness and professionalism of the recommended company. So, in my estimation, contacting Weathertight was a great move. We got just exceptionally quick service from a local company at a fair price.

     I'm very happy!

  • The process was quick and smooth without issues.  Mitch was personable, friendly and professional.  His crew worked  hard to complete the job in two days.  We will definitely recommend their services and use them again for future projects.

  • First call was answered directly by Dion. Returned all my calls and also called when said he would.
Dion is a very honest contractor. Saved us about $200.00 dollars. Would recommend and use again.

  • Steve and his group have just completed a job that included electrical, paint, rough carpentry, installation and general repair. The results exceeded my greatest expectations. The few unexpected issues were resolved to our mutual satisfaction. All work was performed in a competent and professional manner. Of the 4 or 5 estimates we received on seriously rotted roof beams, Steve's approach was the only correct way to solve the problem and the cost was only slightly above the cosmetic band-aids offered by others. I heartily recommend this group to anyone wanting a quality job done at a fair cost. Steve is free to pass out my email address to anyone wishing a more detailed recommendation. Dick Roberts
