    KLUB K9 PLAY CTR LLC
The morning I was going to take him in I noticed that his eye didn't look good so I took him to our regular vet who checked him out and gave medicine to be given to him three times a day. Klub K-9 did that without extra charge and put him in a heated room with other senior special needs dogs and gave him extra attention.

    Morris Animal Inn
They were real good to the dog. They took good care of him and trimmed him nicely. This is the place to take a loved animal because they treat them just like people. They give good care. They are very expensive.

    PET CAMP
They are fantastic. They have different groups to go out and play depending on your dog. At night they give them some kind of frozen treat.

I think it was $30 a night. They’re courteous and pet friendly. The workers were very friendly and my dog was very comfortable there. They are a pet friendly place, they are kind and they know about animals. They remembered my pet from the first time using them, they remembered him from before.

We have used them a couple times. I'm disappointed that they don't include play time in the boarding fees.

Paws Crossing Pet Resort & Spa
Great for me, not sure if the cats would agree though they were safe and under the watchful eyes of pet professionals. I selected Paws Crossing not only for their quality service & support but most importantly kitties are individually allowed 1 hour free roam privileges.

Our dog seemed happy. You never know when you leave your dog. There was one incident where another dog bit our dog in play time and they have a vet on staff and they treated the dog and they barred the other dog from ever coming to Pet Smart again. For quality you don't have any idea, because you can't see what their facility is really like. You drop them off and fill out some paper work.

    THE CATS' INN
It's great for bringing your cats there. Their service was good. The price wasn't too bad. My only problem was that one time they took my cat to the vet overnight while I was away. I never saw him sick and hasn't been sick since. It cost me an extra $300. I'm not sure what happened there, but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was delighted to find out Coco's regular vet does pet boarding, and they will administer his meds to boot, for an extra $10 a day. It was easy drop-off and pick-up when I returned. I noticed if you return a half-day early they still charged the full amount. In my case, seven days and nights. Also, I wish the caretaker, who helped bring Coco back to my car, and who liked Coco a lot, would have told me "we just fed him a big meal". Then I would not have fed him right away when I got home.

    House of Dogs llc
I’m not exactly a “client” of John’s; far from it, he’s raising our dog. In the summer of 2014, my wife and I got a Mastiff puppy named Phoebe. We were getting ready to move from Boston to California. We hired John to take care of Phoebe during the day for about a month while we were packing up the apartment. Every day he’d come over and take Phoebe back to his house, where she would frolic happily with him and his two sweet and lovely dogs, Nolia and Layla. In one my most distinct memories of the experience, I was waiting for the elevator one day and looking out the window of the apartment building. I saw this guy in the parking lot walking with this huge dog in his arms. I thought it was kind of weird, until I realized it was John carrying Phoebe; she was tired and apparently wanted to be held. A few months after moving to California it became clear we couldn’t keep Phoebe anymore. But we were determined to find a good home for her. As far as we were concerned, there really was only one option in that department, and that was John. It had always been clear that Phoebe liked John more than she liked us anyway, so we knew she would be okay with the decision. So in October 2014 we flew John out and Phoebe flew back with him. It proved to be the best thing we could have ever done for her. If the constant stream of videos and pictures John sends us is any guide, Phoebe lives her life in a kind of doggy summer camp. Even though she is supposed to be a lazy Mastiff, she has the personality and energy of a Labrador. So when she’s not hogging up the bed or sleeping on top of him, Phoebe spends roughly three hours every day outside playing fetch. It’s not that John necessarily wants to be out there that long; he just recognizes what Phoebe needs and is committed to giving it to her. Other videos feature Phoebe tumbling around the apartment with Layla under Nolia’s watchful eye, or Nolia lovingly cleaning out Phoebe’s ears. Between Phoebe, Nolia, Layla, and John, it’s a big love-fest over there. Now that John is caring for and boarding other dogs, we get to see footage of what it’s like for them. We’ve seen countless videos of Phoebe welcoming the newcomers into the house and happily playing with them for hours on end. At the same time, it’s clear from the way the dogs respond to John that he is in charge. John has a ton of experience training and looking after dogs, and however much he loves them, he does not allow them to rule his household. In sum, anyone needing a place for their dogs while they’re away need look no further than John’s House of Dogs. I can guarantee you’ll be happy with the results – and so will your dog!
