    Jay came out immediately the next day and once we agreed to a start date his team was there, on time every day and did extremely high quality work. We were having other work done on our house and the contractor was reviewing Pacific Crest Roofing's work and he commented, "this is really high quality work. They have done a great job!" While I felt the same it was so reassuring to hear someone in the building and construction industry confirm the quality was top notch. We also decided to go ahead and replace our gutters around the full house and they did that seamlessly and perfectly. I would absolutely use Jay and his team again and highly recommend them.

    Don't waste your time with this company. I, like the several of the reviews, got the run around about meeting times. They were no shows not once, not twice but three times. I do have to give the company credit in that they were quick to respond via Angie's List messenger to let me know "they are on their way". If you want to be led to believe that they are on their way and then want to receive a phone call on the third attempt wanting to reschedule again then feel free to call this company. The worse part, yes more than getting the run around three times, is that after telling the gentleman that they needed to reschedule I said I would take my business elsewhere I did not get a "sorry" or did they feel remorse in anyway.

    Rick went to the house, which is occupied by a tenant. Called me, the property manager, to report that a corner of the rain gutter needed replacement and the whole rain gutter cleaned out. A fair estimate. The appointment was made by phone with the tenant for noon the following day. The tenant took off work and waited from noon to 2:30pm, no workman came. When I called Rick, he said his men did the job in 1 1/2 hour and the dog was going crazy during that time. My tenant reports that they do not have a dog. Finally, Rick determined that his workmen had done the job at the wrong house. I need to point out that, for an outdoor job, it's common courtesy to phone the customer or knock at the door to announce the workmen had arrived; if they or Rick had done that, they would have discovered their error right away. On the third day, the workmen went to the right house and did the job. Their workmanship looks good. However, after they departed, the tenant found that debris and mud cleaned out from the gutter were dumped in the bushes behind the house, instead of being properly placed in the garbage can or hauled away.

    Provider insisted that they MUST inspect my roof even though I declined because I only needed gutter cleaning. (I recently repaired my roof and didn't want any one walking on it.) When I told them I didn't want a roof inspection, they declined to perform gutter cleaning & told me to get a refund from Angie's list.

    It went alright. I had a little confusion with the estimating process, but got it worked out.  
    Once the appointment was made it went exactly how you would want it to go.  The installers were on time for the installation.  The workmen were polite, helpful and professional.  They went over the planned installation and offered suggestions that might make it work a little better, which I agreed with.  The said it would take a couple of hours to complete and they were done right around the two hour time period. They walked around with me to review the completed work - they mentioned the warranty and the arrangements to get payment made.  I got the payment made thru their office over the phone.

    I've had no luck with Angie List...This is just one more example of a provider with no customer service or common courtesy...
    I ask for an estimate and gave dates and all they came back with is: "sorry, overbooked"...NO alternative date, or please call office to schedule.  My 12 year old son has more common sense than that.  If they cannot communicate why would I want them on my house or give them my money?  
    This is just one provider out of many who I have had this experience with so I have to ask myself what does Angie"s List actually provide the consumer - Answer: Absolutely Nothing!  Well, a waste of time!  But, that's not much of an advantage...

    Jay declined the job.  His concern was the type of roof that was installed was a type his workers were not acquainted with.  Rather than try to attempt the job and cause damage to the property.  He felt the best course of action was to refer me to other providers that may be able to do the job.  I asked him if he would like to do the gutters if I used another roofer.  He declined due to gutter portion because it was not a major component of his company, ( He is mainly a roofing contractor.) .  He then referred me to a gutter service that he felt was very good.  If had to break up the work between contractors.  I really appreciated his honesty and knowledge.  A professional knows what he can and cannot do.  If I had to place a whole new roof on my house I would call him first to bid and the work.  Jay is a real professional.

    I think they did a good job. It looks nice. They did the repairs that I wanted done. It just wasn't eligible to do under the coupon. Something didn't work with the coupon so I just have to pay out of pocket. They came when they said they were going to come. From what I can tell, it looks good and gutter is working so that's good. I didn't compare pricing. I had to call them back to do a follow up on a lot of things. They charged me wrong and then I had to get it fixed because they gave me the wrong quote.

    Appointment was set for 3 weeks out.  It was longer that I would like, but I understand if they are busy and the service is not urgent.  I worked my work schedule so I can take a few hours off (from a very busy schedule) to accommodate the appointment.  They called the day before to reschedule to the afternoon (instead of the morning).  I was able to reschedule work around their schedule.  They called 30 minutes before coming over the day of the appointment and explained they were only going to come to inspect the gutter/roof before actually scheduling another appointment for a technician to come do the work. 

    So they did the inspection (technician was professional on the phone).  We agreed that he can do the inspection without me meeting him.  They sent an estimate for additional work recommended.  I explained that I wasn't interested and needed the gutter cleaning that I paid for done ASAP.  No one called me back to schedule an appointment for 2 days since the inspection was completed...its the weekend now.  I explained to the technician that I need to schedule that work ASAP since I had a busy travel schedule.  He acknowledged, yet no one called back to reschedule.  I tried calling the customer service today to schedule an appointment and got an answering service that could only take a message.  Now they sent me an e-mail with a docusign contract to sign electronically for $220 of services I don't want so they can schedule an appointment.

    This is ridiculous.  A month has gone by waiting for a simple gutter cleaning (less than 50 ft) to be done and no urgency on their side to complete the work that I already paid for.
