    There is something wrong at this place. It's a mill, and I've never come across a veterinary facility that cared less about the animals it treats and their owners. They make you wait inordinately long amounts of time, even when there is no one in the waiting room. They consistently underestimate the charges, which are very high to begin with, and then hit you with the extras well after you are invested in a treatment. At their busiest times, they seem have more staff dedicated to billing then they do to handling incoming patients. I have dealt with these folks on several occassions for multiple pets, and I assure that, at this place, payment is everything. Pay up or get out. Their worst offense, however, is that if you complain about any of this, even after paying them thousands of dollars, they will refuse to treat your pet. You read that correctly. They will refuse to treat your pet. I know this because it happened to me under some pretty terrible circumstances. I had a dog dying of bladder cancer. At one point, she needed a catheter just to be able to pee, and I was referred to SCVSH for the procedure. They put it in at great expense, demanding payment up front and underquoting as usual. After a few days, it came out. I rushed her to my vet, who was close by, but he told us he couldn't put it back in. He called SCVSH for me and they told him to send us straight there. They assured him that they would be able to get us right in and take care of us. I rushed her up to SCVSH, which was a bit of a drive, with my wife. There was literally no one in the waiting room when we arrived. No one. We sat there for a while before someone took us back to an examination room. We then waited in the examination room for a very long time. While we were waiting, not one person came by to let us know how much longer it would be or to see how we were doing. During our long wait, I heard another couple come into the examination room next to us. At one point, I heard them getting upset because they had been quoted one price and were now being told it was going to be significantly more. My wife and I just looked at each other and continued to wait ... and wait. Total elapsed time before we actually saw a vet? TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS! The vet finally came in, someone took my dog away, and we brought the vet up to date on what had happened. The vet then told us that there was no one there that could treat our dog right away. We were told that we could leave her there overnight, for an additional expense, of course, and someone would be able to treat her the next day. Nobody had bothered to mention any of this on the phone when my vet called. Keep in mind that I was pretty stressed out about my sick dog, who I loved dearly and had been taking for cancer treatments at the absolutely fantastic Veterinary Cancer Group Of Orange County. At my wits end, I'd had enough and I chastised the vet about how we had been treated. Her response? The most condescending, apathetic faux indignation I have ever seen. How dare I criticize them! I was so upset I told my wife I needed some air and left the facility for a walk. When I came back into the waiting room, I asked to see my dog. There was one other person seated in the waiting room, and at least three people behind the counter, so I had the audacity to tell them that I didn't want to wait another hour and wanted to see her right away. Just like the uncaring vet, the woman behind the counter I was speaking to objected to my critical tone and I got lectured. At that point, I was so upset, I actually broke down and cried right there in their waiting room. I was being jerked around and disrespected by a business to which I had paid thousands of dollars for a treatment that failed and I was losing one of the best friends I had ever had. Did anyone attempt to console me? Did anyone try to understand the grief and stress I was experiencing because my dog was dying? Did anyone apologize for everything they had just put us through or for the failure of the treatment? No. What DID they do? The woman behind the counter disappeared and resurfaced several minutes later with the vet, my wife, and my dog. I was informed that they were refusing to treat my dog. I doubt anyone there would have cared that my beautiful girl passed away a week later. This is who they are. There are other veterinary hospitals and specialty clinics out there, and they are staffed by very competent and CARING people. I strongly suggest you seek out these alternatives. This place is a mill, plain and simple, and a God awful place to take your pet.

    For cost, you have to remember I have 9 animals, for feeding everyone, plus giving medication to 4 cats; including under the skin fluids to the cat with kidney disease.  This is not going to be a "most people" experience. He charges by the visit, and by the service. 2 visits a day, plus giving pills morning and night to 3 cats. 1 pill once a day to one cat, and fluids to one cat. He brings in the trash and the mail, and checks the plants. The main reason I like him, he's extremely, almost perfectionist. He makes sure that everything is done right. All my cats are indoors. He's a middle-aged guy. The price is reasonable though, for what he does. I won't go to anybody else. I don't trust anybody else.

    They did a really good job and they were good with the animals. Grooming is expensive, but probably it's run of the mill. They're convenient for one thing, to me. They're good with the animals, as the main thing. They do a pretty good job and the price is fair.

    I have taken my pets to Dr. Simon for about 15 years. He is a great vet and a kind person. I had to let go of an older cat buddy several years ago and I was thankful for how supportive and caring the staff was during that heartbreak. My current cat receives great care. The staff is friendly and efficient and great overall. I highly recommend!

    Not good. They slapped a shock collar on the dog and zapped him instead of actively teaching him how to behave. The dog was there for several weeks and came back far worse than when he went in, even dangerous. After a few months the dog had to be euthanized because of this. Please do your dog a favor and look elsewhere. The only other review this business owner has is one he wrote himself!

    The service is alright, but the price keeps going up. Their prices are still low for the area though. I have been going here for about 3 years now. I wish that they would email regular customers about these changes, or put a sign on the counter.

    Dan's dog training was very helpful and we saw behavior changes right away.  Dan made the training fun, easy to understand, and he tailored his approach to the way we wanted our dog raised.  The follow up emails were very informative and made the continuation of Lucy's training at home during the week much more effective.

    OC K-9 services also does boarding and pet sitting.  Our dog is almost like another one of our children and my wife and I felt secure knowing Lucy was in trusted hands.  It is reassuring to know that your dog is not simply being supervised but is with a knowledgeable trainer.  Daniel sent me 2 texts with photos to update their activity while watching our dog.  She got to play in a big backyard, meet other dogs, hunt bugs and lizards, and go on a long walk-all the things she loves.  I was very appreciative that Daniel didn't just kennel her and then cut her loose, but that he gave Lucy love and the one on one attention that she is accustomed to.  

    Dan's dog services are very affordable, but more importantly he is reliable and a  brilliant dog trainer.  I would gladly refer him to anyone.

    We greeted our first puppy this Memorial weekend. He is a 8 week old labradoodle with green eyes, the cutest boy we've ever seen. My husband wanted to start his training class a few days after he came home. We found Vickie online and asked her to interview our puppy. She is a very experienced trainer with friendly and an easy going personality. We hired her and we have finished our fourth class already. The puppy likes her, and he has been improved a lot. Now it is much more fun to have him playing around us, and we can enjoy a lot things together without too much barking and cleaning :)

    I have used Cesar's Park-A-Pet for several years now. They have always taken good care of my pets at a reasonable price. The price varies based on size of pet and number of nights. For my little dog, it is usually around $40/night. They take care of the feeding and medicating with food I provide (or you can use theirs), and the dogs are known and cared for.  The dogs never come back to me traumatized, and are well-adjusted during the transition to / from.

    We had a very good experience there. The prices were a little steep. They're professional. The staff was very attentive. It's kind of small. I would tell friends to give them a shot than some of the other ones in the area.
