  • Dr. Farhoumand has been my dentist since her and I were young (relatively speaking that is:) I enjoy the familiarity I have when I walk into the office (which is very pleasant) seeing her and Cristina. Like with any family members sometimes we'll have our issues but in the end she is still treating me. There are two DDS in the office, one is the nicest, sweetest, funniest and talented DDS I ever met. The backup DDS on the other hand is very serious and quiet, not even a smile. She did an extraction for me with no issues and seems to be very competent so if you could care less about bedside manner it will be no issue. On the other hand if you want a happy, smiling, fun dentist try and book with Dr. F. I am in the process of getting my 3rd implant with Dr. F. Most DDS don't do implants themselves, they refer you out. But Dr. F not only does them she specializes in them. On my last one I had a minor issue and she came in on Saturday morning to correct the problem.

  • Horrible experience with this DDS. Dr. Deborah Ruprecht placed an implant directly into my sinus. I was NOT told she needed to go into my sinus and/or that she was going to perform a sinus lift on me. I only found out about the sinus lift when I got a bill at the end of my appointment. The worst part comes after the implant placement. I spent the next 72 hours in the worst pain of my life, had to go to the ER and finally had to have the implant removed. The Dr.'s response was that I did not take my meds properly. She's referring to my pain meds. Morphine would not have cured the pain, it was placed wrong. At the end of this horrific experience, I asked for a refund as I now need to go elsewhere for an implant and start over, she refunded me $400 - what a joke when I was out about $4000. I call this an EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. I'm not writing this review in malice, I'm writing in hopes to save someone else from making the same mistake I did. I came to this doctor b/c she was referred to me by my general DDS - I should have pursued a 2nd opinion and searched more. Prior to this experience I NEVER had sinus issues. Since, I've had 3 sinus infections and multiple trips to my Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. It's truly been a nightmare and one of the worst decisions I have made with continued consequences. She is a sweet person with incredible bedside manner, but please...don't let this fool you - keep searching!
UPDATE: 6/12/15 Another visit to the ENT and now possible corrective sinus surgery thanks to this doctor.
UPDATE: 6/17/15 just completed a CT scan from Ear Nose and Throat doc and he confirmed I do indeed require sinus surgery to repair the damage she caused from her botched work.

  • He is a top notch dentist and I am very happy with him. He always does good work for me and they stands behind their product.   He has a great staff. I had a problem with a crown that fell off and they took care of me right away. Got me back in and fixed it up and made sure that is stayed on. The staff is friendly and they get to know you very quick and they refer to you by name. That proves they show some interest in you.  If it is an emergency they will get you in quickly. The only thing that takes a while to get on the calendar is cleaning especially if you try to use the same hygienist. The office is modern and clean. They upgrade their equipment very frequently and they are now using the plate less x-ray machines. The place looks good and the chairs are comfortable and I don’t remember if I ever had to wait like 30 minutes, usually a couple of minutes. I use a special type of knife guard and they did research and they called me back with the information and stayed in touch with me to make sure they follow through. Their communication is very good. They take most forms of insurance and they have a separate person who does the billing on the way out. They always give me an estimate upfront before they do anything and let me review and sign off on it so I know my out of pocket expense.

  • I'm going to see her next Wednesday. I see her every three months. They do x-rays once a year. She took all the practice of the dentist. I've been going to her for years. I like her. She' very efficient and I think she takes good care of me. She's very thorough. The office is clean and beautiful. I will absolutely use her again.

  • They were fabulous. Thy were amazing and it was a smooth process. They got me right in, both times I went to them. I didn’t have to wait and I feel like they only book one appointment at a time.

  • Crown replacement was normal without complications. However, after the bridge replacement I had some discomfort due mis-match of bite. It took several appointments to correct the bite. My main criticism is I think Dr Wellington recommended 2 procedures that were not necessary. Crowns and bridges last much longer than 10-12 years as long as they are intact without signs of deterioration or there is no tooth decay to the underlying tooth. I had neither and relied Dr Wellington's dental care recommendations. I have a dentist in the family and he verified details. He also thought the cost for the work was high. I have since changed dentist.

  • Outstanding describes everyone in this office. Yolie, the hygienist, was gentle, caring, explained everything, and did an excellent cleaning job. Dr. Makhoul did the exam and explained what needs to be done. The office staff was efficient and caring. Every word on the office website is accurate. I am lucky to have discovered Dr. Makhoul!

  • She is excellent. I see her 3 times a year. I am basing on her service. Everything is excellent with her. She is very professional and knows what she is doing as a hygienist. She is very efficient, understanding, friendly, and patient. I did not like going to a dental office. But she makes it very comfortable for me.

  • I never have problems getting an appointment, he takes his time when meeting with me, and he's upfront with respect to costs. Furthermore, he has a very pleasant and inviting ocean-themed office, and he employs a great staff. They always treat me like a VIP when I visit.

  • They are wonderful. I have used them for about 5 years. They are very nice, and it is a jovial, and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. The dentist is excellent, and he went out of his way to do some research when I was having problems with my teeth because of chemotherapy, and he was able to talk to the dentist who specializes in cancer patients. He did his research while I was sitting there. He has been really good.
