    American Patio Masters
After being discouraged by other patio installers, I sent Lynn an e-mail to cancel our appointment.  Lynn e-mailed me back telling me not to be discouraged.  He said he would like to talk to me and see if he was able help.   I sent Lynn the information on the size I wanted.  We spoke on the phone and confirmed our weekday appointment.  Lynn was on time, I took him to the backyard to see the area where I wanted the patio and described what I was thinking.  Lynn immediately started throwing out ideas, two or three post designs, open or closed cover, basically anything I wanted he said he could probably make work.  He sketched up two covers with a couple of options on each.My wife and I talked about it for the next few days and decided American Patio was the one to go with. I e-mailed Lynn and told him it's a go.  Lynn stopped by the next day, drew up a formal sketch and hashed out the details.  A week and a half later I got a call from one of his installers, Pablo.  He said he would be by in the morning to install my patio.  Pablo showed up on time with another worker.  They worked non stop for 5-1/2 hours on probably the hottest day to date in 2014.  Patio is perfect, a bit more then we wanted to spend but we got what we wanted for a good price.  I would highly recommend American Patio Masters, I have no complaints.

    Finest Home Remodeling
Living in southern California gives us the ability to enjoy the sun almost year round. However, that usually requires us to leave the house or sit out on the back patio. We really wanted a way to enjoy the bright sun without having to deal with the heat of the sun beating down on us.  We brainstormed for a while and then the idea came to us, what we need is a sunroom off the back of the house. We had no idea where to go to find out information on sunrooms and what is involved in having one added to our home.
So we decided to go online and start researching about sunrooms to see what kind of information we could find. We found out that there is a wide range of sizes of sunrooms as well as materials they are made from. It was highly recommended that we contact a local contractor that specializes in sunrooms that are in our local area. This would ensure that all of the local building codes are strictly adhered to.
So we started looking through the yellow pages under sunrooms and found numerous businesses that are listed under sunrooms. We
narrowed down our list to the ones in our vicinity and made some phone calls. We were able to get two of the companies that had openings in their schedule to be able install the sunroom for us if we decided to go ahead and purchase one.
After sitting down and speaking with a representative of both companies we decided one of them to work on a plan with. We went with Finest Home Remodeling because we felt the most comfortable with them. We set up an appointment to visit their office to discuss the details.
Since our first meeting went so well we expected much the same when we went to see them in their office. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist and asked to have a seat while she contacted the salesperson.
We only had to wait a few minutes to be called into the office of the salesperson and it was then that we were introduced to Rod, he was going to be the project manager assigned to our job. Since all the measurements were taken during our home visit there was no need for them to go back to the house before we make our decision on the sunroom.
They had all of the plans and estimates drew up and all that would be left for us to do was sign a contract and set a date for the work to begin. We reviewed all the plans carefully and read through the contract and we were satisfied that everything was in order and we went ahead and signed it. They checked their schedule and came up with a time frame that whey would be able to start and complete the work and it worked perfect with our schedule. So a date was chosen and we shook hands and left smiling.
We received a reminder call the evening before, letting us know that their crew would arrive the following morning to get started. There was a knock on the door that morning and it was Rod and his crew from Finest Home Remodeling. There was a fairly large crew and we were introduced to everyone and they all seemed very pleasant.
As the work began, we had to go to our work place so we left for the day and we came back close to quitting time for the first day and much to our surprise they completely cleaned up the area around the back yard and neatly stowed the equipment that they would be leaving overnight.  We had a privacy fence with a locking gate, so we felt pretty sure that the equipment would be fine.

So for the next several days the work went, the guys on the work crew always behaved professionally, we never received any complaints from our neighbors about loud music or inappropriate language being used. That was great since we have heard stories from friends that did not have as good as results as we did.
They were reaching the end of the job and they were wrapping everything up and we met with Rod and he explained that everything was done and after they had everything cleaned up that he would do a final walk through with us.
We were very excited by the time they were finished and it was time to do the walk through. We were impressed by the quality and workmanship that we received from Finest Home Remodeling. The materials used were all top quality and every detail was taken care of. We were more than satisfied with the result and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a construction work.

    Preferred Home Builders Inc
Preferred was very nice to work with. We called several months before the construction started to get an estimate. We didn?t want the work to start right away, as we were getting married over the summer. Tom, the owner came out and talked to us about our options. We ultimately agreed on a design that added a master bedroom and bath, extended the existing den into a family room, replaced and relocated the heating , replaced the roof, and added a covered patio. Preferred completed the blueprints and worked with the city to get everything plan checked before the construction date arrived. On the date promised, the work crew arrived and started work immediately. Nataly, our project manager called with regular updates on the progress of the work and kept us on schedule in selecting fixtures, paint, etc. Preferred was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had during the construction. We love the new space and would recommend this company.

    California Skyline Remodeling Inc-Sherman Oaks
Joe came to my house on time to give me an estimate. He did my roof and tex-coating in 2005 which came out great so we wanted him back on this job. His crew were on site and working within a few days, and the job was done in two weeks. It looks great!
