    The company was responsive. There was a communication mishap where the
    technician showed up a week before scheduled. I felt bad to send him
    away (we were not prepared for treatment at that time) but he was very cordial and took it in stride. He returned the following week and sprayed the house inside and out. We had major ant issues. After his spraying,
    we left the house for a few hours. We haven't seen / had ant issues since. I got this on a Big Deal.

    Went very, very well.  We had two other bids and while not the lowest, this was the lowest responsible bid from the company with the best communication.  The company has specialists for the extermination portion of the work and for the repair part of the work.  Everything went so smoothly from the initial phone contact through the prep of our home for the fumigation experience through the actual tenting and then the repair work. They were punctual and thorough and cleaned up beautifully.  I am about to call them again for another issue and whole-heartedly recommend them to any one looking for prompt, professional pest services.

    Jeff Costa came out, shortly after we contacted them, to inspect and give us an estimate of the cost and work to be done. The cost for the fumigation ($1,487) was quite low compared to other companies and they were able to do it right away. They provided all the info needed to go through this process, contacted the gas co. to shut off the gas and answered our many questions. Michelle (office) was very helpful and patient with us. Mike and his crew did a super job of tenting the house and working around all of our plants so that we didn't lose any. Everything went well and nothing was harmed, except the termites. They did the wood repairs and paint touch-ups the day after the tent came down.  Since the repairs turned out to be less than anticipated, the estimated cost was reduced accordingly. In addition, their annual cost to inspect and treat is lower than others. We would definitely recommend them for their workmanship, efficiency, promptness, availability, price and going the extra mile to do a good job.

    Out of four companies that came out and inspected our home they were by FAR the most thorough and professional. In fact they were the only one that completely inspected our buildings!
    They explained in detail what needed to be done, how they will do it, and the charges.

    They called me immediately after the purchase wanting to come out the next day! However we told them we wanted to wait a bit. It was a very good experience. Stanley came out & he went above & beyond. They were only supposed to go around the peremeter of the house & he did a little extra around the fence & even notice that the fence was slightly damaged & fixed it!

    The Termite Guy
    The Termite Guy company came out and did a thorough inspection and told me that we have drywood and subterranean termites and recommend spray treatment in the crawlspace for the subterranean termites and fumigation for the entire house for the drywood termites......My house is a 1957 ranch style with 1377 square feet.....The quote for the work after the $500 off offer came to $1995....The quote sounded pretty reasonable but I thought I better get a couple more quotes.I realized that many companies give FREE inspections and I called a couple more. The other two companies said we only have drywood termites and they recommended fumigation. I went with another company that charged $1500 for fumigation as 2 out of 3 companies said I do not have subterranean termites. I feel that The Termite Guy was too expensive because they charged $2495 for tenting and spraying. The offer I bought was $500 off coming to a total of $1995 for tenting and spraying.That's what they said they would charge me. I felt they jacked the beginning price to $2495 because of the $500 off offer. So the end result was approximately the same as other quotes I got from companies that didn't offer the $500 off. So I went with another company. I spent $99 on "The Big Deal" for nothing.

    Already A Better Choice Termite & Pest Control Inc
    I called Already a Better Choice after thinking I might have termites.Joshua came out and did a free inspection and seemed to be very thorough.He said that we had Drywood termites and recommended that we have the house fumigated.I had two other termite companies that had different findings come out but they both also said that they recommended that the house get fumigated.One was slightly lower than Already a Better Choice,but one was higher.I decided on Already because I really liked Joshua's demeanor and really trusted him.
    The subcontracted fumigation company came to my house right after the Gas Company turned the gas off.The supervisor of the company was very friendly and courteous.We had all our valuables and food items out but before I drove off he saw that we left something in the house that shouldn`t be there and he brought it out to me.He didn`t have to do that.He went the extra mile.I told him to please be careful as we just had brand new gutters installed on the house and I want them to stay perfect.He politely said no problem don`t worry about a thing,we will be very careful......Two days later I got a call from the same supervisor at my hotel and he said that the tenting is removed,the job is complete and it is safe to return back to my home.I returned to the house to see it exactly the way I left it.I did a visual inspection of the house and the gutters and everything was perfect...I got a call from the office the next day and the lady on the phone was very nice and professional as she was from my first call.She asked if everything was ok with the service and after hearing from me everything was fine she asked how I would like to pay......I payed with a credit card over the phone.
    I would definitely recommend Already A Better Choice to anyone.

    They were nice and seemed professional.  They were prompt and I was very happy with our interaction.  I would have felt nice, if they had responded to my emails, asking to do the job.  I had to call them up and confirm the schedule and had asked them to call 30 minutes, before their arrival.  They never called me and reached my place on time.  They did a neat job and I was still very happy with their service.  I will continue to use them in future.

    They come out monthly and charge us monthly.  Their price is actually pretty good.  They come faithfully every month.  They are punctual.  If they can’t keep a regular appointment they would call and reschedule at a time that is convenient for us.  There are no problems.

    We've had this Terminex pest control yearly plan for 3 years (with a 1.5 year beak in between). The first time I canceled after more than a year of frustration all stemming from an incompetent and rude and sexist tech. The customer service at the time was very outstanding, but the tech was a disgruntled loser. Spent the entire time at my house complaining about his work, bosses, wife instead of adequately treating problem areas. (He also tracked dog poop into my white-carpeted house -- downstairs AND upstairs). We kept having ant issues even after repeated visits from him. He wasn't even taking time to find the colonies and eradicating them. One time, a long thick stream of ants walked right in front of his toes. He didn't even see it til I pointed it out. Then he aimed and sprayed the entire area with my INFANT SON sitting RIGHT THERE. I was furious. I canceled the policy after nicely asking for them to reassign another tech to service my home. They kept saying he was assigned that area and he had been with the company a long time, blah blah...Well, in the end, the MANAGER had to treat my house because I refused to have the other guy come in anymore. It worked for a while but I canceled it after determining the cost was too much.  After being off the plan for a year or so, we had ant problems again last summer so I called again hoping to get a new tech. My luck -- the incompetent guy had retired during my break from Terminex. This time, they sent out a good guy who actually listened and performed the duties/jobs expected of him. The problem this time around, though, the customer service SUCKS. During my hiatus with the company, Terminex had acquired a lot of smaller pest control companies nationwide and, as a result, ballooned in size and operation. Now their customer service is horrible. The tech is good but the customer service and corporate are horrible and all appointments and dealings go through them anyway. So it doesn't matter if you have an outstanding tech, you have to still deal with a bunch of morons at the corporate offices/appointment lines. They urged me to make an appt for termite inspection. Tech canceled on me last minute (termite tech is different from pest tech). We made second appt. He changed that one as well. We made a 3rd appt. He flat out stood me up. When I called into the office to speak to termite manager, he never returned my calls. I left like 18 calls and emails. Not one was returned until the very end when I threatened to go to corporate to report his deadbeat staff and his own questionable "managerial" skills. Even in the call, he never once apologized. He called just to say he called. Cancellation department talked me into staying by offering me another free treatment. So I stayed. That went OK. The friendly and competent tech this time wasn't so friendly/competent suddenly. I wonder if the main office told him about what a "problem" client I was? Anyway, doesn't matter what he was told. He laid mouse traps and basically didn't do much else in terms of spiders/ants, etc, like he did before. The last straw was them calling me to schedule my quarterly visit. I could not make the date THEY chose -- it was a workday and I don't want to take off work for pest control issues. I asked for a Saturday appt which I've always had in the past. The customer service/appt girl said no. Then I said, OK how about the following Sat? She said that the date I offered was "in another month" and it has "to be done THIS month." Well, THIS month ended in exactly 6 days. What happened to 1) advanced notice of visits and 2) scheduling at the client's convenience!? Finally, she acted like she was doing me a favor by "squeezing me in on a Saturday." But she wouldn't give me a time. She said they will be there "after 1." I asked for a timeframe/window. She got haughty and said, "there is no company in America that will give you an exact time of when they can come. LIke the cable company--they don't give you an exact time." I said that I just wanted a WINDOW. I'm fine with the typical 2 hour window they usually cite. But she only said "after 1." I asked her: Is it 1-3? Because usually you guys give 2 hour windows. She said, "No, just after 1. The tech will arrive when he arrives." I immediately asked to be sent to the cancellation department. This time, they didn't try to sustain my business/tie with them at all. Good riddance. I wasn't going to fall for anymore incentives to stay with them any further. There are a lot of annoying pests and bugs in this world. Terminex is the biggest one of them all! Stay away from this company!!!!
