    Lambert installed New AC/Heating system for three of our properties. Alan is very knowledgeable and was accommodating giving me several options and solutions within my budget. His prices are competitive especially for the quality of work provided. His team was courteous, clean and answered all questions. They went way and above to make certain I was satisfied. I was happy with the work on the first property therefore had Lambert do the next two properties several months later and quality remained the same. This is the first time I have written a comment because this company definitely is top notch!

    Full Blown Heating & Air
    Danny and his team are pros who take pride in doing great work, we could see that within minutes of meeting Danny, and then his team. This is a team that is excited to do what they do; they work hard from start to finish; and they enjoy their work, you can see that in how they approach what they do. Ours was a two day job, and Danny and his team left our home immaculate. At the end of the first day, after having cut about 15 holes for duct work, there was not a spec of dust anywhere. The crew arrived when he said they would and the job took exactly the amount of time Danny said it would. His pricing, to completely revamp our system, including relocating the furnace, was outstanding and worth every penny. He recommended a new thermostat that is multi-functional and perfect. Can't say enough how much we appreciate Danny and his crew! We highly recommend Full Blown Heating and Air Conditioning.

    Twinco Heating & Air Conditioning
    Our HV AC system quit working on Friday afternoon when the expected temperatures for Saturday and Sunday were predicted to be in the 90's. I called Twinco and Carlos showed up promptly at 8AM on Saturday. After examining the system he said the problem was a bad transformer. He did not have one on his truck and said he probably would not be able to get one until Monday. After a short discussion explaining it would be very warm in our house he said there is one supplier open until noon on Saturday. So he picked up the part and performed another service call and came back to our house at around 3PM. He installed the part and our HVAC is working fine again. I recommend Carlos and Twinco very highly. His work ethic and punctuality were very much appreciated. The price he charged was very reasonable.

    DGL Air Conditioning & Heating
    I saw DGL as an approved contractor on the Edison website. Figured they MUST be somewhat decent. Scheduled an appt (they assigned Roger and he showed up within the timeframe cited). He was one of 6 bids for the job. He is the only one who didn't bother to look at my existing unit. He sat at my dining table the entire 1 hour 15 mins trying to push sales on me. Most of that time was spent trashing other companies. He said that DGL contracts with Home Depot, Costco and Lowes but yet he couldn't give the Costco pricing or the Home Depot pricing "because it's a conflict of interest." That was so odd since other contractors were more than happy to comply. Then he went on to trash Costco customer service. I found that odd since he clearly knows nothing about customer service and here he is attacking the one company that is KNOWN for customer service! I asked him several times if he wanted to take a look at my unit. He said, "Why? We're just going to replace it anyway." He didn't bother to see the shape of my unit, measure the opening, checked the capacity, nothing. He proceeded to tell me that I needed a new EVERYTHING: AC, duct work, registers, blah blah. Even a new heater (no one else said that). It's hard to believe anything he says if he's not going to check things out! He didn't even PRETEND to GLANCE at the existing unit! I had allotted 2 hours of my day for that appointment. Since it was clear he was not going to do the work (nor get the job), I didn't see the sense in wasting any more time on him & pushed him out the door. He promised to send me the estimates "that night." Of course I didn't get it. Just to test him, I texted him the next morning reminding him that I hadn't gotten the estimates. He didn't respond. It's baffling to me that certain contractors take the time to drive to a customer's house, sit there for X amount of time to make a sale, and then not follow up or follow through with the bid. Of all 6 contractors, DGL was the worse company we dealt with. I would never recommend them because they dropped the ball on the very first step. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

    I had 4 estimates.  The first vendor said he would be unable to test for leaks and said he would install new system and gave us a one line estimate.

     The second vendor said he could fill with freeon for $800 with no warranty or put in new system for $15k with no itemization,  He only attached a pressure gauge to outside line and was going to charge my very elderly Mom $105.  When I called owner and said that no diagnosis was made and this is ludicrous, he dropped the charge.

     The third vendor spent well over an hour explaining why his company is great and then said the charge would be approximately $9,500.

    the fourth vendor was Mick Sinclair and what a completely different experience. I first called and spoke to Nick, his son.  I told him I did not know what to do.  Although both Nick and his Dad were booked solid he said he would get back to me.  Mick called and scheduled an appointment. He measured the pressure and tried to fix the valve. He then actually removed the outer shell of the condensor and noted that the motor was not working at all.  He tried to fix the motor and added a booster to no avail.  He refused to charge anything for the diagnostic and attempted repair - nothing!

    Note, that not one of the other three vendors checked the motor.

    Mick then said he would email a quote which he did in a very timely manner. His wife sent the email and I spoke to her and she was as nice as Mick and their son, Nick.

    Mick spent 1-1/2 days performing the complete installation, including sealing asbestos and many other things.

    There are literally no words to explain the excellent service we received from Mick. He is also very kind.

    My 92 year old Mom and I are grateful for you.  You are truly a professional.

    Gomez Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
    Operator answered the phone like it is was her personal line w/no mention of business name. 
    Not a deal killer for me as this is a family run operation.
    So we set the Appt. for 2 to 4pm same day, however they never showed up.
    No notification, no call.
    I called back early evening and spoke with an elderly male, possibly Gomez, who apologized and
    mentioned he would call me right back.
    Once again, no call back!
    Result: They took me off the market, wasted my afternoon and literally left me in the cold.

    I would not recommend them. The serviceman who came out could barely speak English and said the air conditioner needed cleaning before it would work. It turned out it just was not plugged in so it would not work. After he left we kind of figured it out ourselves. The only reason we called them is because we have that home insurance. Their responsiveness was fine although it took them a week to call me back. He was on time.

    Juan came out on time and called me 1/2 hour before he was going to arrive. He was friendly, nice and did not try to sell me anything.  He said that the Thermostat was not signalling the AC to go on.  He showed me exactly what was happening and said I would need a new thermostat.  He asked if I wanted to do it myself or he thought that there was another Angie's List right now, that included a programmable thermostat and installation. for $200.  My son bought one for $180.00 and installed it himself.  If I ever need service again I would use them anytime for my AC or Heating.

    I described what it was doing and he recognized the problem over the phone.  When he came he already had the part that needed to be replaced and within and hour it was all done, and he had checked the rest of the system to be sure it was OK.  Quick, professional, courteous, and easy!  And much less expensive than I had feared, or other companies I called had suggested.
