    A Taylor Made Window
This was a difficult installation because the windows needed to match the homes Architectural design for a house built by a specific Architect of the time period. The Bay window configuration was actually 5 large windows spaced in a curved alcove of the living room. Several were cracked severely and or partially falling out. The removal was difficult and dangerous because of the fragile condition and size of the original windows The 2 man team performed like they were window surgeons, with skill and patience they removed the old windows and replaced them with new windows that fit like they were originals. These 2 guys were highly skilled window surgeons. I would highly recommend this company!!

    Dreamstyle Remodeling of San Diego
My husband and I live in an area with a very nice view, and two of the windows in the front of our home had developed a gas leak and needed to be replaced. We consulted with several different companies and agreed, Renewal by Anderson was absolutely the way we wanted to go. A very knowledgeable representative came to our home, discussed with us in great detail all of our options and provided us with several different operational window samples. We were able to make our choices with great confidence. The whole process went quite smoothly the installation took place today. Tommy and Dave were our installers these guys were extremely efficient, very careful in our home and took great care to lay traffic and work area drop cloths down. They moved items to gain access to the windows and really did an outstanding job. I would recommend this company to everyone I know not only am I satisfied but I know that the windows I have in my home are warranted and that warranty is transferable with my home. Couldnt be happier.

    Superior Kitchen & Bath, Inc.
Quality of Work: All of the subcontractors employed (tile work, granite and quartz countertop, electrical, plumbing, wood flooring, cabinet shop, interior design) were of top quality, making sure they kept to schedule and answered any questions we had. Kitchen layout and cabinets: We upgraded to beautiful walnut cabinets and were glad we did. They add an extra warmth and beauty to the kitchen. They are custom designed, so we got the vertical dividers, spice rack, under-cabinet drawers, trash and recycle bin pull-outs that make life more convenient for aging-in-place. The quality of the cabinet work is outstanding, both inside and out. They look like fine furniture. No funny little misfits that can happen even with the best factory stock cabinets; they are never quite the dimensions you need. The layout allowed for a longer island with more counter space than we had and more clearance was gained by having a counter-depth refrigerator. To make up for less room for veggies, a Sub-Zero 2-drawer refrigerator was installed. Tile Work: These subcontractors worked extra hard to meet schedule, working into the evenings sometimes. (with our permission) The work involved tearing out a roman tub and replacing with an at-grade shower with no step-over dam and no shower door, so the exact slope of the shower floor was very critical so that the water would flow into the drain and not out onto the rest of the shower room. Plumbing: While the roman tub was being jack-hammered out, a leak was detected in the cold water line. After a leak-detector company found the location of the leak, the job site supervisor and plumber were able to facilitate a workaround by tapping into the cold water line in the master bath. Unfortunately this workaround eventually prevented cold water from going to the kitchen sink. Another workaround was put in place, where the outside water line was tapped into, a line run underneath the outside countertop and back into and under the kitchen sink. These workarounds only set the schedule back slightly. Scheduling: The office supervisor issued a work schedule each week showing us what activities were going to be accomplished each day. If someone didnt come when expected, she was very responsive to our calls to find out why that particular contractor was unable to show that day and she always got back with me that same day, so I knew why. We never felt abandoned. Granite and quartz slabs: The Superior Crew didnt blink an eye when we discovered the incorrect size of quartz slab was being installed. They simply fixed the error at their considerable cost. This didnt really cause an overall schedule impact because other tasks were being accomplished while waiting for the correct size slab. Interior Design: With 10 hours of an interior designers time included in the contract price, we were able to cut through hours of agonizing over tile choices. Our interior designer helped us make choices so that various aspects of the design were not competing with each other, like choosing a kitchen floor tile that did not compete with the granite on the island. The interior designer put together all of our choices, including grout colors, into a Google spreadsheet which helped guide the tilers and wood flooring folks. Wood Flooring: These subcontractors did an outstanding job in, first, leveling the floors so that there will be no future warpage, and second, in their attention to detail. They took their time on the more complex parts of the flooring, like where steps and vertical surfaces needed to be wood covered. The supervisor came back later to inspect their work, inform us of how to care for our new floors, issuing us a Bona cleaning kit, and lots of good advice. Electrical: All of our lighting choices were implemented the way we wanted, with lots of choices, depending on what task is happening in the kitchen: eating at the kitchen table, or preparing meals or washing dishes. They also came back to troubleshoot wiring for our telephone answering machine. Painting: This subcontractor put in lots of time, both in making sure that the surface texture was added properly, ensuring that a 10-ft plus shaft to a ceiling skylight was skip-troweled and painted, and that any missed areas were touched up. They made sure to match the existing woodwork so that we didnt have to get the woodwork in the entire house redone. They came back as part of the end-of-the-project punch list work and made sure that every little detail was the way we wanted. Details, details, details: Finally at the end of the project, we listed anything we wanted fixed in a punch list: grout needing more fill, new door in kitchen installed with a more stable base and grout rather than vinyl on the inside, paint touch-ups, wall gouges needing fill and paint. All of this was done over a period of several days until we got exactly what we asked for. Follow up: Superior Kitchen & Bath considers its clients as part of their family and has helped us with a problem we experienced after the remodel was complete. The office supervisor helped me locate along with the helpful personnel at Ferguson a microwave that would fit into the existing cut-out in our new cabinets. And their personnel will help install it! Above and beyond the call of duty. Kudos to all of the personnel at Superior Kitchen and Bath. I have already recommended them to our friends who are about to embark on a master bath remodel.

My wife and I needed a quick turnaround renovation. We were expecting our first child and we had a due date that wasn't changing, so when we were interviewing contractors Paul stated they could have all the work done in the amount of time we requested, I believed him, and he delivered. All the work above was performed in about 9 weeks, and completed on time, even with a little extra work added from the original scope. My wife and I had moved out of the house so that the work could be done faster. Work started end of February and was done early April. The work started with removal of the popcorn textured ceilings, and the end result of the work done was great, but the sub consultant used our front yard/ and hoses as a cleaning station leaving quite a bit of mess. Most of it was eventually cleaned up, but the first impression was a little tough. I spoke with Paul about it and the sub never used our yard again to clean up. After that the work got going quicker and quicker. The AC, water heater, walls, windows, new laundry, paint and coordination with our flooring installer done done within a month. One major word of kudos, the team Paul used for framing, drywall, and patching did an excellent job. I believe that is where they really excelled. The electrical install of the new recess lighting looks great and is one of my favorite features of the house. We did some quick re-adjustments of the new laundry room venting, gas lines, and electrical to make more sense with how the new machines would fit, and they were done quickly. The new windows on the outside look incredible, and Paul's team matched our stucco and paint perfectly. As I said before we were on a very rapid schedule, and so one of the last items was painting. Overall, the paint came out OK, but we went through a few rounds of needed touch-ups to missed areas and a few wobbly lines, but Paul's team did what they could to fix things. I would say maybe if I had given them a bit more time the interior paint would have had a better quality, but in the end we got an overall decent job. The last item was a plumbing job. We found that after the install of the new tankless water heater the water pressure in the house was significantly less than previous. Paul's plumber sub was sure it was the reducer and valve outside the house, but I wasn't so sure. When I tried to work with Paul on the price and to see if the new plumbing componentswere actually necessary and maybe the issue was with the new tankless system he disagreed. I offered to split the cost with him but he refused. Ultimately, after replacing the new plumbing components, the house pressure was still bad.I paid for new plumbing components that did not fix the pressure problem, but Paul did finally offer to split the cost and look into what could be causing the problem. At that time, we were juggling our new babyand truing to move back in and I just wanted the project behind us.
Overall, I would use Regal Concepts again.
Pauls Team hit every schedule milestone
Great quality of framing, windows, electrical, and coordination
Good team of workers, always on time and extra effort
Interior paint was done quickly, but was under rush schedule, but needed a lot of fixing.
Our front and backyards were used as messy paint and patch clean up stations.

    American Vision Windows
We got a quote from American Vision from their salesperson Glenn.  They quoted us $4,590 for 8 Del Mar Anlin windows.  We decided we wanted to go ahead but needed to add one more window to our quote.  My husband called and talked to another sales associate and the price for the smallest window was more than any of the other windows we were quoted for.  When my husband asked about this, the sales associate was very rude and said that the prices we were quoted were not for the Del Mar windows but actually for a lower grade window.   That was not possible as the sales associate I talked to barely mentioned that they had any other windows than the ones he was quoting me for.  Also, we had received a quote for the cheaper windows he was referring to from another company that was actually over $1,000 less than the quote we received from American Vision.
The sales associate my husband talked to was very rude and said that they would "honor" that price but that we had to call them and schedule by the next morning, which was a Saturday, pressuring us to make a decision quickly.  I called the next day to clarify and they did not pick up and never called us back.  My husband also asked about the deal they were advertising on Yelp and Angies List that they would waive the tax and the sales associate said that they don't do that.  When my husband reiterated that it was posted on both Yelp and Angies List, the guy tried to claim that they only do that if you schedule an install immediately when you receive your quote.  It quite clearly said nothing about that on either Yelp or Angies List.
We decided to go with another company because we did not like their bait and switch pricing and the rudeness of their sales associates.

    Best Value Glass
Couldn't have been better.    Holly at the office was friendly and helpful in scheduling our service.   The service tech called my cell to let us know he was on his way, and arrived on schedule.    He had everything necessary on his truck to replace the non-tempered window in the kitchen on the spot -- on the first visit -- and measured and ordered tempered glass for the bathroom for the next visit.   A few days later, Holly called again to schedule the bathroom installation.   Again, this all went very smoothly.
Scott was the technician who arrived on both occasions to handle the glass work.   Polite, friendly, professional, and diligent in prepping the windows as needed, and then installing the new glass.   He also carefully cleaned up, inside and out, and left us in ship shape.
I hate to say it, but it's rare to receive this high level of professional service, for any price;  even better when the prices are reasonable, as they were in this case, and just as quoted in the first place.
Very, very happy with the results, and with the whole process.  Many thanks to Best Value Glass in El Cajon.

    Harmony Blinds and Shutters Inc

I've used five service providers from Angie's List, to date, and Harmony Blinds and Shutters is one of my top two FAVORITE  experiences.  I wanted to have wooden blinds installed in my craft room and my guest room, and I made an appointment for a design consultation and measuring.  Wayne Gray, the president of Harmony, arrived on time, and was such a pleasure to work with.  I had been thinking I wanted a particular blind from Hunter Douglas, but after Wayne told me that the blinds I wanted had been discontinued by Hunter Douglas, he suggested a different brand of blind that gave me the same features I wanted, but were cheaper than Hunter Douglas would have been.  Wayne was very pleasant, and laid back, no pressure or upselling, and extremely efficient in measuring the two windows.  The whole process of measuring, and me looking at samples and making a choice, took no more than thirty minutes.  Wayne was also nice enough to take a look at some Roman shades on my French doors that had been installed by a different company. but which had never been just exactly RIGHT, and agreed to make the small changes I wanted at the time of installation of my wooden blinds.  A few days after the consultation, I received a very nice thank you note in the mail from Wayne, thanking me for the business. Who does that now days?  No one that I've ever done business with!

My blinds came in when they'd been promised, and someone from Harmony called to set up an installation date.  On the day of installation, the installers called and said they were running a little EARLY (what a REFRESHING change from installers who are usually running late!), and would it be o.k. if they came by.  Of course we agreed, and my husband and I were both greatly impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the installers installed the blinds.  Unfortunately, I don't remember the installers' names, so I can't thank them personally here, but they were just fabulous - meticulous in the installation, and the clean up afterwards, and very friendly, as well.  They also made the changes in my Roman shades in just a few minutes, so that I am now completely satisfied with them.  I admit I can be rather picky!  The cost of the changes in my Roman shades was included in the standard $35.00 installation fee charged by Harmony, which I was most appreciative of.  I am SO happy I found Harmony Blinds and Shutters by reading all of the great reviews they've received on Angie's List.  I have one or two other window covering projects coming up in future, and I will ABSOLUTELY be calling Harmony Blinds and Shutters again!  I UNRESERVEDLY recommend them!

    Approved Contractor Inc.
Contractor removed a window in the bathroom and replaced it with a tempered, frosted window. The estimate, measurement and installation went without a hitch. The workmen were on time and very polite and efficient.

    Coughlin Windows & Doors Inc
Every thing was smooth and professional.  From David in sales to Steve the installation manager and the installation crew - all were a breeze to work with -  met with Dave at the house where he gave us an estimate, went to the show room to see the doors up close - scheduled the installation and they showed up on time to do the job.  Installation was done in the estimated time, doors look and work perfectly, installers left the site clean and neat - we couldn't be happier.

    Superior Stucco
Pavel (the owner of Superior Stucco & Stone) came out and examined the condition of our stucco, and said the minor cracks that we were worried about were normal, and they didn't need to be repaired.  He did point out that the existing stucco extended all of the way down to the ground, and that this was causing our stucco to degrade due to water not draining properly.  He gave us an estimate to remove stucco from the ground level up to the top of the foundation, and install screeds.  We agreed to have Superior Stucco & Stone do the job.  They were able to start a couple of days later, and estimated that it would take 4 days to complete the job.  At 7:30AM on the agreed upon day, they were at our house starting work.  Work progressed every day, and was completed
after 4 days.  We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the quality of the work, the color match to the existing stucco, how professional the workers were, and how polite and pleasant Pavel is to work with.
