ARemodel Works Bath & KitchenWe had a wonderful experience remodeling our kitchen with Remodel Works. Our neighbors had used Remodel Works a few years ago for their kitchen remodel, and it was gorgeous. That convinced us to use them for our kitchen remodel also. We were very pleased. We worked with a great design team, Mary and John. They helped us come up with a good plan for much better utilization of our kitchen space. Remodel Works listened to our needs and made the process fun. Their computer graphics generated a scaled layout so we could visualize the design, how all the cabinets and appliances fit, and compare any alternatives. We selected our cabinets, counter-tops, backsplash, and other needs from their extensive showroom. Jeff, the project manager, was great and kept everything running smoothly. They gave us a detailed work schedule so we knew what was going to be done each day, and they stayed on schedule. All the contractors and workers were friendly, helpful, and considerate. They showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Several times they made suggestions such as adding trim. A day or so before the end of the project, the range hood installer noticed a slight defect in the hood that would prevent it from working well. They postponed the final payment for three weeks so the new hood could be installed, inspected, and approved. Even though the kitchen is the same size, we have better use of the available room and more cupboard space because of the efficiency of the design. Five out of five stars! ASuperior Water - Waterboy Whole House SystemsThe sales person was able to explain everything clearly and help to negotiate a short payment plan. The installer arrived on-time and took only a few hours to complete the installation. During the installation it was determined that my water cutoff valve was damaged and needed to be replaced. The water regulator was also very old and questionable if it actually worked at all. I choose to purchase both a new valve and new regulator and have them installed at the same time. The initial 2-3 gallons of water at each faucet smelled terrible and tasted terrible. It was likely from the copper pipe soldering. The smell went away and the taste is now excellent. My only wish is that the weekly backwash could be scheduled less frequently to reduce water waste.- Mark R.

FWhile they were available same day to replaced garbage disposal it all went downhill from there. New disposal was installed incorrectly and caused dishwasher (which is attached for drainage) to overflow due to built up pressure causing kitchen to flood. Thinking it was dishwasher issue because I had "NEW" garbage disposal I contacted and scheduled the washer repair and waited a week for service only to find out plug was not removed during install of new disposal causing washer no where to drain. I contacted Axis and waited a week for them to come back to address the plug issue. Fast forward 4 weeks and used disposal a few times a week because of our busy schedule. I phoned because I have a horrible sound like its going to fall off and a fork is stuck in it (not the case) I was told there would be a service call fee and if it was not fixable would have to purchase another disposal. ***! its not even two months old! Had I purchased from Home Depot installed incorrectly and flooded my kitchen on my own Home Depot would accept return and replace! Its called a warranty and customer service something Axis doesn't have knowledge of. When they have the $250 dangling in their future they can be here same day but when there is possibility they are covering their poor quality merchandise they throw out an appointment 10 days after my call to send someone out. I was not even provided a time of service but just day and date when they can fit me in. Might add I was a little disappointed with Angie's List after contacting about issue only to be told to post it here and perhaps the service provider would make it good.

AI ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion. ABeyond Perfect. Oscar and his crew worked two full days+ and when they were done and I went and looked at it, I was just blown away. These men are artists in their work.
