    Ram Jack Pacific
Best professionalism by far of anyone I have interacted with in regards to our foundation issues. Did a thorough inspection with measurements inside and outside the home to form a plan to make sure the house was level as well as evenly supported, not just stabilized. Answered a multitude of questions in a detailed and timely manner. Took the time to make sure we felt comfortable with the work we were contracting with them. Professional interaction with workers and on the phone with staff. Highly recommend.

ARS / Rescue Rooter San Diego
Our job was an emergency. Our connection to the 4 inch sewer line that we shared with our neighbor that connected both houses to the 6 inch main sewer collapsed from tree roots. The first indication that something was wrong was the bathtub and toilet backed up. We thought we were just clogged. It was about 7:00pm. We called Rescue Rooter because we had previously used them and had good results. They were out within a couple of hours but the plumber could not get his snake through the line. He said they would be out first thing in the morning, which they were and ran a camera down only to find the line collapsed. We hired them to do the work and Bill Byers was the lead and he did a great job. He was upfront with everything that needed to be done to get us up and working as quickly as possible. He was always available to answer all questions. He and everyone else that came to work on our repair were always pleasant and professional. After digging down about 8 feet to the main that goes to the street it was discovered it had been leaking so that had to be fixed. He ran a temporary line below where it had been leaking so we could use our facilities. He worked with the city and got us the best resolution that met what they required. They rerouted our line so we are not sharing with the neighbor and connected us directly to the main line that goes to the street. We also had to have a liner ran up the line that the neighbor is still connected to. They always cleaned up, covered the hole and roped it off with caution tape when they were done for the day. We had a lot of dirt and rock that they kept covered until it was time to fill the hole in. They poured new cement and the spot looks better than when they started. It was a big job and Im glad its done.

SD Home Turf Synthetic Grass Lawns
Overall we're happy with how the backyard patio turned out and the support we received from Cale Abramson. He was upfront, honest, and always quickly replied via email, text, or call whenever anything came up. Cale provided us with a free estimate which was ultimately honored, including the additional discount for Angie's List members. We also received estimates from three other well rated businesses we found on Angie's List but SD Home Turf was the cheapest by at least $2,000. The contracted crew was always punctual and the whole project completed on time. The quality of their work was good not great but we expected that since SD Home Turf was the cheapest out of the four estimates we received. At the conclusion of the project we noticed some minor cement splatter and light damage to the exterior of the home. This was fixed for free a couple weeks later which was greatly appreciated.

I can't say enough good things about Mark & Superior Bobcat. The price was about half of the other bids, and the work was top notch. We've had him back 3-4 more times for additional work. On top of this, he's a super nice guy. So happy we found him!

    Sure Safe EFS
Great. Tech arrived on time, got right to work inspecting and gathering data. Provided to engineer who provided a comprehensive evaluation of issues and recommended solutions. While we can't afford to proceed at this time with their recommendations, we will in the future.

Absolutely one of the most professional companies with whom we have ever worked in our 59 years of owning our home.   They knew what to do and when to do it.  They consulted with us along the way.  The crew was polite at all times.  The garage floor is beautiful, and the new sidewalk is a great asset as we have a family member in a wheelchair.   We are planning to hire them again to replace a cracked driveway slab.

    Sigura Construction Inc
First, since I live 500 miles from this house, I had to pick a contractor who was willing to communicate with me by email and phone since I could not be on site. Second I needed a company who had experience working with insurance companies. Third I felt  Sigura Construction was working for me and not for the insurance company. Now that the work is finished, I feel this is a good choice.  I made some bad assumptions when this task started. First I thought the insurance company was my friend. Second I allowed the insurance company to use their engineering company to inspect and write up his report which was slanted in favor of the insurance company and caused me some heartburn.

There was considerable time spent discussing and coming to agreement on the needed repairs to my house. You can tell there was multiple changes to the quote/cost when the first quote from the insurance company was $19,640.07 in June 3, 2013 and their last quote was $81,776.34 in January 31, 2014. One  thing Sigura told me was it may take a long time to fix your house right. The work was done in my opinion in two stages. The first part was to remove the damaged portion of the house that can be seen. When this was done there was reevaluation in terms of what more needed repairs. At first the insurance company did not want to remove the damaged hard wood floor. Once it was determined that the existing hardwood was to thin to resurface and use, the insurance company allowed the hardwood floor to be removed, the damage to the sub floor was exposed. The sub floor was removed and damage to the foundation was found and repaired all with cost approved by the insurance company and Sigura Construction.

The floor was leveled as part of my cost, but was necessary. Since the damage from the car was approved and paid by the insurance company, the reconstruction of the house moved along well in my opinion even with repairs being done over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. One area that this contractor did was kept his word. I met with the contractor on February 27, 2014 and  during this meeting asked if he could complete this task by March 28, 2014. He said yes he could have it done. I made arrangements for the renter to be able to move in on March 28, 2014. The work on the inside of the house was complete. There was a couple of items on the outside of the house that was not complete, but it did not affect the renter from moving in.

This split-level house, with a post-construction basement dug into the crawlspace, sits on a graded hill that has a good amount of clay causing periodic shifting (i.e., doors out of align, floor sag, small crack in stem wall). Drainage wasn't optimal and there have been very wet days with standing water during heavy rains in the past so a sump was dug 3' down and a pump placed with drainage to hillside.

Overall: Good work and would use again and/or recommend RAD Construction.

    The Very Good:
Great people at RAD. William was very easy to work with and addressed all questions and was available for post-completion inspection. Manny, Clayton, Junior and Jaime all did great work. Thanks to Clayton for the nice grate over my sump!

    The Good:
Overall pleased with the work. They were very eager to address any questions and, I feel, went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied (we are). They even did a little extra that was actually out of scope and I really appreciate it!

    The Other:
The project took a bit longer than originally stated. I didn't mind, that so much, but I think we would have appreciated better scheduling info since we have dogs that can't be trusted with an open gate.

    M&M Hauling & Bobcat Service
Most of the wood still had nails so it wasn't an easy task but the guys handled it all very quickly.  I was impressed!  They also hauled away some old furniture and a refrigerator that wasn't on their list but they had room so they loaded it and hauled it all away.  I was so glad to be rid of it!  These guys were professional, courteous and fast!  I will absolutely call them again.

    Clearwater Drain Service
This is our second time working with Seth Flanery in the last 6 months.  Both times he has been professional, on time, on or under budget and the work is solid.  We had water seeping up in the yard, and after determining that is wasn't the drainage line and wasn't the yard irrigation, Seth recommended a good company to isolate the leak and we confirmed it was the main water supply to the house.  He advised on the best way to repair, and after we had a trench dug the next day, he contacted us to check the status and was ready to work.  He provided an estimate ($600-$800) and when the work was finished, the price was $689 - in the budget and on time!  We are already set to have him take on another job and would recommend him to anyone for any plumbing and/or drainage related work.
