    Dr. Moore has excellent bedside manner. He ordered a battery of tests for me, as he was concerned that I may have lymphoma (In the end I didn't), but he was quite concerned and wanted me to get the testing done quickly, including an MRI.

    Getting the information for the MRI authorization was a pain in the a**. His assistant Monica has NEVER returned one of my phone calls. I had to call that office at least 4-5 times and left lots of messages to no avail.. She was supposed to call me with the info in the first place. It took 2 months to get the MRI authorization info. The only reason I got the MRI authorization in the end was because I had to go back to the office to see Dr. Titlebaum, audiologist for other testing. Oh, the office assistants had also given me the wrong preparation instructions for my testing, which didn't make Dr. Titlebaum very happy, and apparently this has been an on-going issue at this office. I pestered one of the girls at reception to give me that information, which she did, no thanks to Dr. Moore's assistant, to whom they tried to refer me again.

    When I finally got my MRI, I went in for a follow-up appointment to review test results. Dr. Moore eased my mind that it wasn't anything serious like cancer, but wanted to refer me to a infectious disease specialist to get those pesky swollen lymph nodes checked out. This was some time in February. Monica NEVER called me. I kind of got busy too, so I didn't follow up as quickly either since, the worst was ruled out and I figured she'd be slow to call anyways. It's now May 8. I've called the office 3-4 times. Of course Monica doesn't return my calls or messages. I even had an receptionist write a message for her, letting receptionist know that Monica doesn't return calls. Today, I called again, asked not to be transferred to Monica's vm, and again emphasized that the request for referral by Dr. Moore was over 2 months ago!! The receptionist was kind and asked another assistant to look into their computer system and provided me with the referral information. Now was it really that hard? It's terrible to have staff that doesn't return patient's calls, ESPECIALLY for IMPORTANT TESTS that the Doctors' want the patient to have. In my opinion, this seems like a huge medical liability! It's also grossly unprofessional. I would have complained to the medical group, but there's no where on their website that allows you to do so or tells you who to contact. Again, I have no complaints about the Doctors at Associated Head and Neck Surgeons. My chief complaint is with the complete disregard of this one particular staff towards patients and patient needs. I hope that there's better training and office management of this sort of thing. I should not have to call more than 4x to get information on anything, period. I do commend the receptionist who was polite and tried to be helpful each time I called.

    There is no one story to tell other than whenever I need an appointment I get one. They have been very good to both my husband and me. Very caring and do not rush through the appointment. They listen and answer any questions you might have and will be very direct in their answers. If they had not been so thorough I would not still be using that facility.
