A+++ Got me in on Monday morning on way to Disneyland. Diagnosed and fixed same day with fair price. Great knowledge and communication. Would refer them Obote any other business in LA area. Thank you, Joe Alio and everybody.

They were awesome.  He's been around for less than twenty years.  I've been going to them for fifteen years.  They were very trustworthy and dependable.  They are brothers; they own the company.  They are very personable.  Every time I needed something they stay open late.  They are all around good guy.

Excellent! I have used them several times. They were very friendly, explain their service very well. If you feel like they were up to a bit or something that does not need to be done, they will do it. I do not have something to pick me up if I drop off the car. They have a nice waiting area.

Danny the owner is nice enough but quality of work and customer service has gone downhill . My cars still have the same mechanical issues even after I have taken cars in multiple times. Cannot use this mechanic and do not recommend this place of business .

I like the way they explain every step of your auto service. They changed a filter which I didn't know I had which was a cabin filter. They went into the passenger side and open the glove box and pulled out this dirty black filter and it hasn't been changed since I've only got the car for 5 years and they have the exact part to fix it. They compared the black one to the white one and asked me if I had been in the areas with fires.

I took my vehicle in to get it smog inspection report to send on to the DMV to get my vehicle license renewal.  I've never had a problem in the past with this provider, but this time they said that I'd have to bring my vehicle back because it was a "gross polluter" & way over the RPM requirements.
I regularly take my car in for maintenance & have never been told of a problem with my transmission or anything to do with smog control.  I immediately left their facility & took my car over to Miller Toyota of Anaheim where I always take my car for service, & they did a "pretest"  inspection at their facility and my car was fine, and passed the test with no maintenance done from Miller Toyota, just the test. A few hours later, after I got my car back from Miller Toyota, I took the car back to OC Smog & Auto Registration & had them retest it, showing them the "Pretest" from Miller Toyota, and car passed this time. The Technician said that Miller Toyota must have fixed something, but Miller Toyota did not, they just performed the pretest.
At Miller Toyota we were told that some Siennas & Avalons of certain years (mine being one of them) need to have consistent pressure on the gas or it will cause the car to move into another gear, which would cause the RPMs to go up during a smog test.   When we confronted the technician at OC Smog & & Auto Registration, he was aware of some Toyota cars doing that when we talked to him the second time.  Why wouldn't he have questioned the results, then, if he was aware of my vehicle being one of those that could do that???  It would have saved me money & time (half a day) if when my car didn't pass the first time, he would have looked into it & known that my car needed to be retested right then & there so I didn't have a "gross smog polluter" on the record to the DMV that I had to do something about, when it really was fine.  I truly feel if we hadn't gone to Miller Toyota for them to do the pretest, they may have failed me again, and  then where would I be.  If technicians know these things, why are they failing these cars without questioning the outcome???  While we were there, 2 other cars failed.  Actually there were only 3 of us there at the time and all 3 of us failed, which gives me a very uneasy feeling about this place, or at least the technician's competency.

Provider was very professional, knowledgeable, and effective.  Price is comparable to that of a dealer's service department.  So you may want to consider using a dealer, who will likely provide a warranty for the work.

My 1993 Chevy Silverado failed the Smog test, it was the first time being tested in CA. Larry, the owner of Turning Wrenches was very professional and asked several questions as to what was done previously to the truck. He tested every part of the emissions system to ensure they worked properly. He even removed some parts to check serviceability. Good thing was the all the parts he checked were working properly, unfortunately that left one last part that he could not replace himself, the Catalytic Converter.
He sent it out to get replaced which was the bulk of the price.
Larry did all he could to fix the problem before getting to the final result. He even took it to get the smog test done after the catalytic converter was changed.
Overall, Larry was a professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend his to everyone I meet.
Turning Wrenches specializes in Fuel Injection, Brakes, and Suspension. He is ASE certified for GM and Ford.

I thought Brian and Doug were terrific. These guys are fair, honest and you immediately feel comfortable with them. The electrical work that they did on my window and seat would have cost a fortune at the dealer. They even arranged to have my smog test done at at shop around the corner (they don't do this work themselves.) I was really impressed with them and will definitely make them my regular mechanics. Thanks guys!

I have taken my car to Band D before. I find them to be good mechanics who will give you an honest appraisal on repair costs. They are not the cheapest in our area, but I have confidence in what they say and do. I have never had to return to the repair shop because of faulty workmanship.
