    Premium Air, Inc.
I hired Tomer to come and perform a cleaning to the Air ducts and to check the AC unit. Tomer did a great job by cleaning and service My AC unit that apparently had some minor issues that caused it to perform not as it should. Tomer is honest and reliable person that cares only to solve the problem and to make sure that i was happy with his work. i recommend him to anyone that would like to have his AC repaired or anything that is related to that.

Very professional, friendly crew, came on time, worked quick and efficiently, explained what they were doing and advised about use of filters as well as frequency of change. Left my house perfectly clean and with fresh air!

Fantastic service!  Dany is efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and just a great, committed heating and air specialist.  I am very conscientious about wanting my repair people to be the "best" in their field, with strong expertise.  Dany is clearly dedicated and a true professional.  A pleasure to deal with and highly recommended.

The Right Choice Heating & Air
TRC cleaned the ductwork using a large, portable vacuum cleaner type machine that sucked air out through the vent and they did do a safety inspection of all the furnaces to ensure they were functioning properly. It took them quite a while to figure out the zoning and where the furnace units were - even though everything was in plain sight in my garage. I showed them where the thermostats were and we played around with temperatures and finally figured out that 2 zones were on one unit and a 3rd zone was on a separate furnace unit. We have a third system on a guest house that was more straight forward. It seems like experienced HVAC techs should have been able to do this a lot more efficiently. As soon as they opened the furnaces, they started talking about needing to do a deep cleaning of the blowers since the units were older (one unit is older, the other two units are about 10 years old. It turned out that 2 of the furnaces did not have filters installed on the air intakes (but there were filters at the return vents, so the air wasn't completely unfiltered). I was advised that the blowers were exceptionally dirty, needed to be completely removed and deep cleaned by vacuuming and then cleaning all the blades, moving parts, etc. with an antibacterial solution (Fantastic), then reinstalled. The cost to do this for each unit was $350. I hesitated to do this because it seemed expensive and I was concerned that removing and rewiring the blower motor might be more likely to leave me with a problem (disconnected or improperly rewired unit) then the dirt and dust on the motor. In the end, I decided to go ahead and do the cleaning because they guaranteed they would return to fix any problems that came up. I realized afterward that this is not on the written contract they give you.
Of the 6 filters that needed to be replaced, they replaced 2 with the cheapest type of cardboard filter. I was advised to purchase washable permanent filters from them at about $100 each for the remaining filters I needed as they were "not standard sizes". I agreed to the blower cleaning, then searched online and found the exact filters they were trying to sell me for $100 for just $50 online at air-care-filters.com. All the sizes I needed were available as standard sizes on that website without needing to pay an upcharge for a custom size.
After they put everything back together I suggested that we retest all the systems to make sure they had got it all hooked up properly again. They assured me that wasn't necessary but I insisted - good thing - it turned out that something had come loose so the unit was blowing air but not cooling and they needed to reattach it. I ordered the filters myself and installed them without a problem.
Bottom line - for $700 I now have 3 very clean HVAC systems, 2 new 3 month filters and a much better understanding of how the heating and cooling zones are setup within the house. I think the blower cleaning didn't hurt our systems and may extend their life...I guess time will tell. Interested to know if anyone else out there thinks blower cleaning is necessary and if it should cost $350 per unit...

    Eco Green

The company contacted me soon after purchasing the special on Angies List to arrange for a preliminary appointment. Unfortunately at the time they called my elderly mother became ill and I had to postpone the appointment.  They were very cordial.

Once the appointment was scheduled they arrived at the time and date and proceeded to work efficiently and professionally.  They were considerate of my elderly mother and our pets.

They set up the main equipment and were considerate of using plastic and covers on their shoes.

Within an hour all my vents and air return were cleaned inside and outside.  I was very impressed since this was the first time I have had my vents cleaned.

Air-Tech Air Conditioning & Heating Inc
Work was done over 2 visits since we chose to  upgrade 1  thermostat that Air Tech needed to order.  Work was done correctly the first time.
Rod discovered a faulty part to our filter which also needed to be replaced.  On back order but Guillermo was able to get existing part to work in the interim.
My only issue was a time change to one of the appointments that I was not notified of.  Learned when I called to confirm day & time.

Professional and friendly, they did everything they promised, when they promised, at the price they had promised. I highly recommend having your air ducts cleaned (ours had never been cleaned!) and I highly recommend using this company to do it.

Excellent. Rod was able to give us an accurate estimate for the cost of the job. He arrived on time. He was very conscientious about not tracking dirt and dust in the house (wore booties) without our asking. This was an important observation he made since we have white carpeting.
