ZJ's Auro Body was on a list of shops recommended by my auto insurance
company after my car was rear-ended.  David Dudek was my estimator.  I
received very considerate, personalized service from everyone at ZJ's.
David kept me informed about insurance authorization, parts acquisition,
and timelines.  My car need body work, and mechanical work.  ZJ's did
the body work and had the muffler taken care of by another shop.  All
repairs were very well done in a timely manner.  My car runs well and you cannot tell the
car was in an accident.  ZJ's also facilitated the rental car process
which was complex as I had an out-of-town trip pending.  I hope I won't
need them again, but I would definitely return to ZJ's if my car needs
    accident repair or body work.

They are very pleasant and they do a very good job for us. They got to know us immediately when we hit town when we started going there. They remembered us and they're always good for a little chat. If it's something they can't fix, they will give a referral which is usually pretty good. It's just a nice place to be. They're not cheap. They'll go to some lengths to help out. They found somebody to take care of a car problem I had and they kept on it and made sure it was done right and kept my car for 3 days and never charged me for that. They were just good neighbors.

I took my own synthetic oil in because I have used synthetic since day one and if I buy it from them the price will be outrageous. Told the service rep that the oil was in the back of the car. When I picked up the car they had not used my oil, so I ended up with $30 worth of oil that was not used, plus I now have non-synthetic oil in the engine that I had to purchase at an inflated price. They also found an object in the tire, and the repair was too expensive. Normally I've found their prices to be quite good, and the service pretty good. So, I'll write this one experience off. The service writer did offer to do the next oil change (with my syntetic oil) for free next time. I doubt they will remember, and I have nothing in writing.
They do wash the car for free and that is a nice service. I think they make a real effort to be customer friendly.

I have had my car serviced here three or four times. I'm not a big fan of dealerships, but I did want to have dealer service for the first fifty thousand miles. I've used, Toyota of Fresno (Michaels), what used to be Bingham Toyota, Toyota of Des Moines (Des Moines, Ia.) and Toyota of Selma (Swanson Fahrney). I have found Toyota of Selma to be the best of them. Their prices seem a tick lower than the others (although that is not what persuades me), and they seem to understand communicating with the customer the best. An example is that I had a tire that kept going low on me, and it was always the same tire. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the tire has a problem. Took it into Toyota of Des Moines for routine service, and told the rep about the tire and to fix it. Not only did they not fix it, but they found nothing. So two days later in Montana, I'm looking for a place to fill the tire. Saw a tire dealer and pulled it in and they fixed it. This is triply irritating as it should have been fixed by Toyota of Des Moines, they inconvenienced me as I crossed the country having to look for air every two days, and they cheated themselves out of work. In contrast, at Toyota of Selma, the last time I had routine service work done (oil change, cabin filter etc.) I told the rep that my wife had run over a parking bumper and she said it scraped the bottom of the car making a horrendous noise at the time. I asked them to check the undercarriage to make sure that no damage had been done, and two hours later I got a call from the rep telling me it all looked just fine. Now that's paying attention. One last thing that I like about Toyota of Selma is that they will wash the car for free when you have it serviced. Their physical facility and waiting room are not as impressive as many other dealers, but I think they try harder.
