    Brad Sayre Landscape Services
If your looking for a great landscaper and hard workers, call Brad Sayre Landscaping Service. Brad & son Dan have worked on other homes on my street for years. After the Tubs fire our landscaping all burned & had to be replaced. Brad & Dan knew just what we wanted. They did a great long hard job first getting rid of all burned landscaping, then putting in new dirt, plants, trees, a new irrigation system & fir bark. If you want a excellent, honest, landscaper that works hard & knows what he's doing, I would call Brad. You won't be sorry. JH

    Brad Sayre Landscape Services
I have worked with Brad and crew for a few years. He has helped me re-create the half-dead, overgrown front and back yards into a garden I love and can enjoy every time of the day and in all seasons. Their collaborative assistance with design has worked beautifully; the crew is punctual, hard-working and neat. The weekly maintenance visits keep everything looking great. I look forward to our next project!

    Drew Coomes Landscaping

Drew does a great job. He is always right on schedule and handles special requests cheerfully and quickly. I have referred Drew to my in-laws and a number of patients and neighbors. They have all been very happy with his service. He is young, energetic, and ready to get the job done.

    Highly recommended!

    Scott Vice Landscaping
Scott and team were very responsive and punctual.  The job had a lot of moving parts but was done according to the original schedule without a problem.  He was very responsive to requests and if very detail oriented.  It was a good job.

Daniel is very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping plants, materials and structures. He always gave us option a, b, c with pros and cons and pricing. We really listened to his suggestions which were great and often things we had not thought of. For example we had no plans of adding a water feature but it is now the favorite part of our yard. On the flip side some things I was very firm about and although I could tell he didn't necessarily agree he always did to my satisfaction.
My experience with any work I've ever had done is be prepared for the project to take a lot longer than you planned. No difference here.  Partially that was our fault as we would change our minds or decide to expand the project. I would say the job extended a good 6 weeks past the original estimated completion date so just keep that in mind. However the job was worth the wait and every time I drive up to my house or sit in the back yard I'm just so pleased.
That was not the case when about 5 years ago we had hired another landscape company to redo our deck, install drainage and replace pavers around our pool. The company, Manzanita Landscape,  I chose in part as they were diamond certified. What a mistake. I would never use them again. We spent close to 100K. Daniel came in and replaced part of the deck from the poor quality pipe they had used and we are having him come back this spring to help correct the poor job they did on the pavers.

Extremely difficult to deal with him,  and get him to finish the project .   He said it was a 2 or 3 week project but in 4 months it's still not complete ......other professionals who have looked at his work pointed out to me how he built it in such a way as  to need his constant service.... i.e. he put in plants that will die over the winter and need replacing and the filter is not adequate for the pond , also needing his constant service, and he's been very nasty about putting in one that will work.    he's been pretty unpleasant to deal with from the beginning, full of anger or excuses .......
I think he took advantage of me and built the pond in such a way as to create my dependence on him to keep it working.  I wouldn't mind that so much if I could depend on him to do as he promises but I can't .
Note:  6 months in the pond is leaking 2 inches a day .......

    California Tree Care
Robert and his 2 assistants were here on time....and one man scaled the trees while Robert and the other man took  all the limbs out to the shredder in front on the street.  Not only were they quick but they cleaned up everything when they were ready to leave.  Everything!!  We walked the property with Robert and asked him to return to prune other bushes and trees.  He was knowledgable and said he would do it when the grinding was being done... Also, some work would be better left until we had no more hot spells.  ( we have just moved to a new home with mature landscaping)

    Atlas Tree Surgery Inc
The whole experience was good. Matt ho who does the quoting arrived on time to do a quote. I told him that I wanted to have
the silver dollar eucalyptus removed from my front yard. Matt took notes and said he would have a quote within a day. The next
day I got the quote and I called and set up an appointment to have the tree removed. (I did get other quotes, but I went with
Atlas because they were in Angie's list. So I figured they must be doing a good job) They were also the most reasonable.
The date to have the tree removed was set at about a week out.
On the day that the Atlas crew was to arrive, and this was from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. , Matt ho even called to say that they might be
a little late due to some last minute changes that had to be made. (nice touch keeping you informed) I said no problem. As it
turned out the Atlas crew got here pretty much on time. Upon arrival I talked with the person in charge and told him about my
concerns when they were cutting the limbs and branches. I didn't want my bushes crushed, or my windows broken, or my
sprinkler heads smashed by falling limbs, and watch out for my rain gutters. ( I knew that they would be careful in these areas
but it made me feel better to mention it) As soon as the man in charge knew what I wanted, he told the rest of the crew right
away before they started to work. Now this was good. Now the entire crew was on the same page. Once the work started they
worked like professionals from start to finish. There was no yelling profanities, goofing off, or loud radios playing. I like that.
Get in, do the job, and get out. After the tree cutting crew was done and cleanup was done, the tree stump grinding guy ground
the stump down to about 4 - 6 inches below the surface. He also ground down some roots that were exposed in my lawn.
I thought I was going to use the wood chip mulch in my flowers and garden. But I decided against that. So the day after I called
Atlas to ask them if their crew was in the area could they come and pick up the wood chip mulch grindings, as I was not going
to use it after all. They said no problem. Now this was a day after the job. So to sum it up, Atlas has got my vote. And yes, I
would recommend Atlas Tree Surgery Inc. to have your tree removed.

    Chris Maccario Landscaping
Chris has always been very helpful and flexible. He does a great job. He does a very complete job. He doesn't hire just anyone to work with him so he is careful about who he chooses to send to my home. Even though he doesn't come every time, he makes sure that he is here half the time so that he can see what's going on in the yard even though he does send another crew to do my yard sometimes.

    Jose's Landscaping and Mainenance
He put in all kinds of new rocks, he got rid of dead brush that was in our yard, he trimmed trees, he just did about a gazillion things so it was pretty extensive and it was over a course of about 3 days. He helped a little bit in the sense that we wanted the ground covered and he gave me a suggestion for ground covering in a certain area of our property but mostly what we wanted to do was fill it with a lot of rock and he did everything that he said he was going to do. Of course the estimate was off but then what happened was when he came, he kept adding things to it and so it going to be big but I'm not saying that it was his fault. I think he is reasonable enough. In the end, it's a little bit sad because it just seemed like a little bit more than maybe what it should have been but they did do a good job in everything and so I can't really complain about it. It looks good in the end. He comes every 2 weeks and blows our leaves around and takes care of whatever work we need to have done but it's a seasonal thing because he's now not coming in the winter time but he does it probably 9 months out of a year. It's just a waste of time because it's just a matter of the leaves falling and so once they fall, the yard is going to look crappy for the rest of the season and so you just wait until spring to clean it out again.
