    We did everything according to the instructions. I had a person come in for the application. Then after about a month and a half, the product failed. It just started coming off. So, I called Eco Home Improvement and sent them an e-mail. They said that they wouldn't deal with it. They told me to go to the manufacturer. I didn't really agree with that, but I called the manufacturer. Then the manufacturer asked me the code on the tin. When I told that to Gregory, the guy over there, he said that was outdated and beyond the shelf life. So, I contacted Eco Home Improvement and they said it was not beyond the shelf life. I told them that I wanted to come by and talk with them. Prior to it, their distributor called them and asked them for a recommendation for a contractor. They were on their way to take a look at the job. Then I got a call from another company from Oakland. I made the appointment and the guy came over. At that time, I called the guy who did the application for me and he came over too. The guy from the other company happens to be one of the contractors that Eco Home recommends. He came over, looked around my deck and questioned the guy who put the coating on. He said that he couldn't find anything wrong with the application. I told him when he came over that the company that produced it told me that it was outdated and beyond its shelf life. He ignored the whole thing I told him and said that he couldn't see anything wrong. He said that he would report back to the company. I let him come over here because he was hired by the company to come over. He did the inspection and everything. I then asked him as to what would be the cost to redo my deck. He said that it would be between $3000 and $3500 if he did it. He said that he had to do the whole thing like power washing, getting the coating off and everything. He said that he hadn't used the product before and he didn't know. He was still looking for something to make me wrong and make the whole application right for them. He left and I was expecting him to give the report to the company that the product was outdated. The person from the company called the guy who applied it and he said in his e-mail to me that he couldn't find anything wrong with the application. I wanted to get something done. So, I called Eco Home since I was their customer. I told them that I purchased the product from them and it failed. They said that it was not their problem before I could finish. I wanted to know how I could settle it with them. Then they said that it was my problem and they were not going to do anything. They told me to call the company directly. Then the lady hung the phone up on me. I asked her for the name of the insurance company so that I could contact them and claim for it. Then I asked her for her last name and she said I could go and look it up on the internet. It was the most horrible experience I had. I sent an e-mail to the guy who came out to my house from another company and he sent me back an e-mail. He said that he had nothing to do with it and he said he wouldn't make the report. He told me not to bother him again. This is the first time ever that anybody ever told me when I bought something from a retail store to go talk to the manufacturer. I was expecting Eco Home Improvement to deal with the manufacturer directly since it was their job to do and I was their customer. Gregory Herbert is the guy with whom I had a conversation with on the phone. He acted like he was some official there. I am not going back to their store again. On their product can, it says that you will be responsible for the cost of the product. The woman I spoke to is supposed to be some kind of a chemist. When I told her what the manufacturer told me, she said that it was a good product. On the can, it said that it expires in one year. That woman was crazy. I went there because I wanted an eco green and natural product for my deck. They seem to have nice products. On their website, there is nothing about how they treat their customers and it's only about them.

    The installers showed up at 9 in the morning. They didn't leave till 11 at night. Our two grandsons had to help them. It was a mess and they had carpet out in the street. They chipped some paint off the wall and made some gouges. They really didn't seem to know a lot about what they were doing.
