    It was excellent. Summer it was heavy in the drought, and they took dead branches in the redwood trees, and also treated the trees with an vitamin concoction. They bounced back beautifully. It was an two day operation. They came to prune one day, and treated the trees the next day. They know their stuff. They are an certified arborist. The health of my tree were at stake. The arborist knew what he was talking about.

    They are excellent. Extremely good to use. Rates are reasonable, work is excellent, advice is excellent. I can really rely on them. They don't charge as much as dealers do, and they are very high on the honesty scale. Very trustworthy. My dashboard light was on, came in, and in three minutes was done. They did not charge me.Very honest  company, if they can't do it, they will let you know.

    I recently transported my VW Bug from Milwaukee WI to the Bay Area. My experience with Nofar at Midsommar was excellent. She were prompt in reaching out to me quickly and set up the pickup date on the first day of my preferred pick up window. 

     Nofar explained that contract wise I can take up to 100 LBS in the car that wasn't covered under the insurance. A day before the
    pick up a very rude lady on the behalf of the carrier called to schedule the pick-up. When she heard I have a few items in the car she wanted to raise the price at $200.00

    I called Nofar immediately and informed her about my conversation with the carrier.

     Nofar called me back after 10 minutes and explained that she prefer to change the carrier. Of course I freaked out because I was
    leaving Milwaukee in a couple of days and needed to have the car picked up before I leave.

    Nofar did not feel that the selected carrier will follow Midsommar guidelines and customer service expectation.
    Nofar assured me that she will find a different carrier within the limited time I had and so it was. I had a different carrier arriving the
    next day with a very smooth pick up, professional and curtis company

    After pick up I received regular notifications about scheduled delivery date. And I received the car as planned.  The
    price was perfect. I paid $1125 for the entire trip - pretty sweet I thought.

    Thanks for the excellent service. I would definitely recommend Midsommar.

    Fantastic. Amazing.  I am a new client (for a 2005 XC Volvo).  I called Model Garage in a panic on a Monday morning
    for help re my engine light on and scary potential of my car dying on the freeway
    (twice on 580 driving at 70 mph - it semed that there was not enough gas flowing to engine and the car
    simply paused as if it was going to shut down).  Bruce said bring it in, no guarantee
    they could fix it this day as they were super busy but would definitely look at it next
    day.  2 hours later Bruce called to say they think they have isolated the problem, 
    replaced fuel pump and I could pick up early afternoon!  They are definitely my new go-to Volvo
    service providers!

    On 8/21/2016 my wife and I purchased a new Nissan Maxima with the typical 3 year/36,000 mile warranty from the Autocom Nissan facility in Oakland, California. Since we are seniors and wanted to avoid unanticipated expenses while we were thousands of miles from home, we purchased an extended warranty for an extra $2,985. Our regular mechanic told us the battery was defective and that Autocom Nissan should replace it under warranty. Autocom Nissan said it was fine so we had to buy a new battery. Our passenger power seat worked only intermittently so Autocom Nissan took the seat out and disassembled it. They blamed the problem on the seat covers we had installed and tried to charge us $500 for a warranty repair. We took the disassembled seat to the place where the seat covers were installed. The seat upholsters said that our seat problem is very common and is almost always remedied in under 5 minutes without disassembling the seat. They charged us $100 for reassembling the seat and installing it back into the car. There was also a clicking sound coming from the front end. Autocom Nissan diagnosed the problem as a failing wheel bearing and said the sealed wheel bearing unit had to be replaced. Autocom Nissan then called to say that Nissan the manufacturer would only pay for them to break open the sealed wheel bearing and lubricate the bearings so we wouldn���t be annoyed by the ���clicking sound.��� Autocom Nissan assumed we wouldn���t realize that the sound was a symptom of a larger problem. A dead battery is a pain. An on again off again power seat is annoying. But a defective wheel bearing is life or death. Responding to our initial email, Autocom Nissan General Manager Andress Sharza pretended that he was ���new��� so that he couldn���t be responsible for the representations that former salespeople made when the warranties were purchased: ���I cannot say what happened at the time of your purchase or what the salespeople said.��� In fact, we discovered that he was the sales manager during the time of the sale; moreover, the representations have nothing to do with Autocom Nissan���s refusal to honor our warranty since these problems are universally covered. In 2 emails Mr. Sharza never challenged the facts of our complaint. In the first email he admits ���you got the best warranty we offer,��� while in the second he suggests we have no warranty: ���I can try to assist you in some partial repair cost.��� Clearly from the email exchange Mr. Garza has no intention of honoring our original warranty so, if our dealership won���t honor our warranty, we have no warranty. And even if he would change his mind, this dealership is too incompetent to remedy the simplest problem.

    I guess I’m satisfied because I keep going there. They used to be the authorized Volvo people in Berkley but they are not that anymore. I think their prices are on the upside but I go to them partly because it’s convenient and they will ferry back home again if you leave your car. So it’s mostly convenience. They are good.

    They were not great. It wasn't really a pleasant interchange with them.  I wasn't so happy with the work. I was back to them and they claimed,  'Well, this is what you paid for'. I don't know whether it was me or them, obviously I prefer to think it was them. The interesting thing is that, it was a paint repair and the paint is now peeling off.  The positive thing is that the price was reasonable.

    Overall, I'd give AmeriFreight a B to B+.  I found their process for quoting the price a bit slippery (I actually got two quotes, one for $1200  and one for $1450, and ended up paying $1750, which seemed like a fairly steep (17%)  increase from the higher of the initial quotes, and 32% higher than the lower of the initial quotes. They explain that they don't have total control over the quote, as it gets posted on some truckers' electronic bulletin board and truckers then bid on the job. Still, their initial quotes were far enough off that I would have preferred more transparency in the process.

    In terms of the overall job, however, I felt that once I accepted a trucker's bid AmeriFreight was very responsive and communicated well with me, checking in at each step to confirm that promised events took place. I was also extremely pleased with the actual trucking company that delivered the car, Avrora. They came for pick up and drop off exactly when promised and the delivery went very smoothly.
