    Comfort Inn & Suites
    They were so nice. They provided breakfast and dinner. Everyone said hello and was friendly. They had fresh fruit out every day on the counter for you. Monday through Thursday they also offered fresh baked cookies. They are also pet friendly and allow you to have your pets. They took good care of me.  It was a great experience and I have no complaints about their service at all. I would recommend them to anyone.

    My wife and I wanted to share a vacation with my brother and his wife in Hawaii in January 2013. We like to share activities, but with each couple having separate lodging. After deciding that we wanted to fly to Honolulu and spend three nights in Waikiki with a visit to the Plynesian Cultural Center before continuing on to the island of Kauai. we researched flight schedules, preferred lodging and entertainment activities and their costs. With our proposed vacation agenda, we approached a travel agency. We met Karin Brown of Heritage Travel in Sonora, California. Karin listened to our ideas, took a copy of our proposed hypothetical agenda, and went to work. She put together a travel package with better rooms at our preferred Waikiki hotel and great condo accommodations in Princeville on Kauai. All of this was a better price than I had researched online. Karin made many helpful recommendations and booked a room for us in Sacramento at a motel where we were able to leave our car during trip, saving parking fees. Karin stayed in touch during the planning process and was always available to answer our questions. We had a great travel experience and highly recommend her services.

    The vacation was awesome! Madlin recommended that we go to Club Med Ixtapa due to the family friendliness of the resort. She was spot on. The kids loved the resort and my wife and I enjoyed the amenities to the pong where we didn't want to come home. One of the coolest things Madlin did for us was to recommend which time of year to go so that the resort would be so crowded. Going on the "off season" practically gave us the resort to ourselves. Thanks to Madlin we will be going on many more vacations in the future.

    The first year was fine because she did not have many customers.  The next year she had tons of customers because of Angie?s List and so she became too busy.  The third year, when we arranged for a cruise she handed us down to another agent.  So we decided that we did not want her anymore and we looked for another agency.     I will give her a good grade for the first year but not so good for the second year.

    She did a good job the first year we used her several years ago, but she didn't do anything on the second year. We had to actually do it all ourselves. W canceled our services with her. We were pre-booked on a cruise for about 2 years in advance under her network. But we had to actually change it because we had to find our own flights and travel arrangements the second year. The second year she was always too busy to make arrangements for us.

    As soon as I got the notification of the change in my return departure time, I did a search for a return closer to my original time and found one from PDX to Burbank, leaving at 12:20 pm.  So I booked this trip, planning to cancel the changed reservation immediately.  I phoned Expedia an was told that it was too late to cancel the itinerary ending in 5982, and that i would have a credit for the price of my ticket.  I had purchased flight insurance for my original flight, and since EXPEDIA CHANGED MY FLIGHT, I believed that they would have changed my insurance to cover the flight that they had changed me to.    I tried to sort things out with Expedia over the phone shortly after I discovered the error.  The representative told me that "there is nothing we can do"  you have to contact Alaska Airlines.  I contacted Alaska Airlines and they said there was nothing they could do, but FOR $150, I could book another trip within the year.  I rarely fly; once a year if that often.   Today I spoke with an Expedia rep calling herself "Gail."  She said that my flight insurance only applied to the itinerary ending in 2588, and that it had not been transferred to my new itinedrary ending in 5982.  I DID NOT INITIATE ANY CHANGE IN MY RESERVATION that resulted in the change of itinerary numbers.  She offered me a refund on my $13 that I had spent for the insurance.  (hardly adequate for charges totaling $229.20)  So, Expedia changed my flight, and my itinerary number.  Expedia told me that I could not get a refund.  Expedia failed to transfer my insurance when they changed my itinerary.  I have been using Expedia for travel arrangements for work and leisure since the 1980's.  I will no longer use Expedia.

    You might as well sleep in your car. There were some kind of bugs. fleas or lice. Both legs were bitten very bad. Now your car is infested and you get to boil your clothes when you get home. I hope they let me post a picture here cuz if you saw my legs and the bites you would never stay at this hotel even if the price is cheap.  Some of the bartenders are very rude and should not be serving the public.  Almost everything about my stay was very bad.

    My husband and I rented a Cruise America 26’ RV for vacation from the Cruise America provider, who also charged us additional fees to park our vehicles in his back lot. We rented the RV for a 5-day family vacation in the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. My husband notified the business owner (AJ) that our vacation location more than likely would not be located where we would be able to receive a cell phone signal. Our rental agreement  stipulated specific instruction about the conditions in which we must meet when we return the vehicle, which is chronicled in the detailed section that follows. My husband and I rented a Cruise America 26’ RV for vacation. Upon arriving 15 minutes early for our scheduled appointment, we had to wait for approximately 1.5 hours before we received our scheduled operator’s tutorial, which lasted approximately 45 minutes. We finally assumed control of and responsibility for the RV approximately 2 hours late. We were allowed to park two of our privately owned vehicles (POV) at the RV business location for a cost of $20 per vehicle. Once we were on our trip and performed a closer inspection of the vehicle, we noted the following discrepancies: microwave door was difficult to open, broken hinge on an overhead storage bin, broken toilet bowl flush handle, and the shower drain was completely clogged. We considered all the discrepancies minor since we were able to open the microwave door with care, hold open the storage bin, flush the toilet with care, and the vacation location provided a bath house where we could shower when needed. After a 5-day vacation, we returned the RV, approximately 2 hours late, adhering to the instructions to ensure the interior of the vehicle was cleaned, gas and propane filled, waste water and usable water tanks emptied and open. Immediately upon our return, while parking the RV the owner (AJ) met us in the parking lot informing us that we were late and would be charged a late fee along with letting us know that he left a message for us the day prior. AJ stated that he left a message for us to also clean the exterior of the RV because it would be immediately rented out upon our return. We reminded AJ that our vacation location offered no cell phone service; therefore, we did not receive his message. AJ responded “I guess vacation means vacation.” AJ then left and immediately returned with a bottle of cleaning solution and a towel for my husband to hand clean the exterior of the vehicle. I did not agree with this instruction, since this request was ill-timed, after the fact, and was not a part of our original agreement; however, my husband complied with AJ’s request. Approximately 20 minutes into our return, as my husband cleaned the exterior of the vehicle, my step-son’s girlfriend unloaded our personal belonging from the RV. My step-son and I went into the lot to retrieve our POV’s (which were blocked by U-Haul trucks) when my step-son noticed that their vehicle had been vandalized; the gas tank cover had been smashed in, ripped off, and forced back onto the vehicle. My step-son and I both returned to the front of the lot; my step-son notified my husband of the vandalism, while I notified AJ of the vandalism. AJ immediately responded, “Oh, I was going to tell you about that; my U-Haul trucks were also broken into and gas stolen.” I replied, “You were going to tell us? Don’t you think that should have been the first thing you mentioned to us when we were pulling in, instead of you reminding us that we were late and you were going to charge us a late fee along with letting us know that you left us a message? ” AJ mentioned this is not the first time vandals have struck his establishment. I felt this information would have been useful prior to us leaving our vehicles at the establishment, especially paying to do so, which left us with the impression that our vehicles would be secure. AJ then went on to mention that since it is just a parking lot, we should not have assumed the lot was secure. AJ and my husband both went to assess the damage on the vehicle, while I stated that I felt we should not be charged for parking since one of the vehicles was vandalized. Upon their return to the front of the lot, my husband and AJ entered the business office. My husband exited the office and informed me that he requested and AJ complied that we would not be charged the $40 for parking but AJ would only  take off 1 of the 2 hours late fee charge. Again I disagreed with this compensation since we gained possession of the RV two hours late. At this time, remembering my Angie’s List subscription, I decided to use my camera phone to take a few snapshots of the business front so that I could include the pictures with my review.  AJ immediately exited the business office into the front of the parking lot where I was standing and asked why I was taking pictures of his business. I informed him that I was going to include the pictures with my review on Angie’s List. AJ responded that he was not familiar with Angie’s List. I then informed AJ that Angie’s List was a forum for which I could rate our experience with his business. AJ began yelling that it illegal for me to take photos of his business without his permission and I expressed equal agitation while responding that I am well within my right to photograph his business and rate my experience. I have included the photos of this business with this review. Upon arriving at home and unpacking from the trip, my husband realized that he left his wedding ring in the cup holder of the RV (he removed his ring when he was emptying the waste water from the RV). My husband immediately contacted AJ by phone and received his voicemail. My husband left AJ a message informing him that he accidentally left his wedding ring in the RV. AJ responded to my husband’s call the following day and left a voicemail, which I have included on Angie’s List with this review. AJ reminded my husband that the RV went out for an immediate rental and the renter was not due back until Saturday (3 days later), but he would work to ensure the return of my husband’s wedding ring. AJ then went on to request “in return, I would like, um, your wife to please retract from what she was doing. She was telling me she was going to put it on Angie’s List. If you would promise not to do that, I would, you know, try to be a nice guy to you and, um, do the same thing. So please do not try to tarnish our image, um, I would appreciate that…” AJ contacted my husband on Monday (2 days after the RV was scheduled to be returned, per AJ) to inform him that he was in possession of my husband’s wedding ring and that my husband can come pick up the ring. My husband picked up the ring and the ring was in good repair. After listening to AJ’s voicemail, I felt more compelled than ever to accurately and honestly document and report our experience with this service provider in order to allow other consumers an opportunity to decide for themselves as to whether or not to do business with this provider.
