  • I've been both a parent and a patient of the Drs. Passamano team. I am extremely happy with my smile and results as well as my kids. I went with the Invisalign option and I finally finish! I had to wear those Invisalign trays for about 2 years total and my teeth moved a lot from the beginning. I'm now in retainers and people compliment me ALL THE TIME on my smile. For my 2 kids, the older one had braces for about 1 year and 10 months and just finished. I'm ready to start my second kid and Dr. Passamano told me we can wait 6-8 months when the a couple more teeth come in. It's nice to have a orthodontist not rush to put braces on to make money. I like the honesty and effort atmosphere at James and Robert's ortho office.

  • We like him. He and his precursors had been our dentists for years and years and years. The wait time there is usually not more than five minutes. We will absolutely continue to use them and we have actually gone to that office for 30 years now.

  • My daughter had braces in the past.  Unfortunately, our original provider, who was wonderful, had a health problem and had to sell his practice.  The new orthodontist seemed to just want to get rid of any patient who had already paid out their contract, including us.  So, he soon declared my daughter's teeth straight, made her a set of retainers (which never fit correctly), gave her a fancy cupcake, and sent us on our way.
A few years later, she was now old enough to get have her front tooth fixed cosmetically; however,  the specialist told us her front teeth had moved to the point where he would not be able to properly cap the tooth.  She needed braces again.  Needless to say, my daughter was not happy with this, nor were we.  I then had to find a good orthodontist on our not so great dental plan?not an easy task.  Finally, I found Dr. Graham.
Since my daughter is at college, we had to get the consultation during her break.  It was not easy to get an appointment, and the only available day/time during her break, turned out to be late afternoon on move-out day.  We took the available appointment, and explained then that the timing was a bit tight.  I was told not to worry.  As it was, traffic was horrible, and there was no way we could make it exactly on time.  We called while en route, and told the receptionist we were going to be about 10 minutes late.  I was very surprised when I got an ear full and told that, if I thought we would be even a minute later, we should just turn around and go home?completely opposite from her attitude when I first made the appointment!
We did get there, with one minute to spare.  The receptionist was very nice, like nothing had been said.  I figured that we would be seen pretty much right away, considering the phone conversation.  Instead, we sat in the waiting room for at least 15 minutes. Strange.
We finally were escorted to the consultation room?a very small room, only slightly larger than the dentist chair on which my daughter was asked to sit.  Dr. Graham came into the room smiling.  He introduced himself, examined my daughter's teeth, and asked us quite a few questions.  There were the expected questions about why we were there, expected outcome, etc., but then things got interesting.  When he found out my daughter was in college, he started quizzing her on her knowledge of various things.  His questions started getting more and more in-depth, and he was very surprised when my daughter could keep up and answer him correctly.  He then (jokingly) told her that he passed his test, and was now accepted as a new patient.
When we went into his office for the rest of the consultation, Dr. Graham clearly explained all of the options for my daughter's treatment, from classical metal braces, to his own (patented) Invisalign-like system.  We then discussed price.  We were pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was, especially considering our previous experience.  Between Dr. Graham's fun and unique "bedside manner," and the affordability of the treatment plan, we and our daughter look forward to June, when she gets back from college and can begin treatment.

  • We are still in the middle of treatment, and it is going great. The office is warm and pleasant, the staff is friendly, and Dr. P has a great way with the patients. Most importantly, the treatment is progressing beautifully, and we are very happy to have found this doctor.
