I was extremely disappointed. It was ordeal. I was also referred to them by a contractor and that contractor always had no problems with the cabinets, he has ordered them fine and installed it himself. So I went to their facility I found the cabinets I wanted, everything seemed to go great at the time. They convinced me instead of using a client, they would do it for the same price or better and I said okay. I actually told our contractor and he said, “that is a great price, let them so it because I have a lot on my plate right now, it will be great for that price”. So meanwhile the house got demolished, it was a rental that we had to evict people so the cabinets were destroyed but we only had enough funds for the kitchen covered by the insurance. We told them we are trying to get the other stuff done out of pocket basically, the vanities, we explained that to them. They got us a great deal for everything to match. So the vanities in the bathrooms, which is the custom vanity because it is five years older home and the vanity for the bathroom and the entire kitchen, which is not that big, it is an alley kitchen and all of that cost, $7000 and that is including the labor. If we hadn’t done the labor, the counters were like $300, very reasonably priced ad this is granite countertops; very nice cabinets. First thing that happened was they were very busy the day they were there, they seemed to stop and we kept asking questions to make sure that everything we were doing was going to be covered, labor and all that. When we got down with everything, including prices and stuff, I remember my husband and I were there, we filled out a contract. They read everything to us, the owners name is Jesse and we filled out everything they wanted, and we paid a deposit of the labor. Then we paid in full all of the materials at that time. The next thing that happened after that was we decide a date to install the cabinets. They said they only needed two days and then he said they needed three days and then they decide they could make it in two days. It was very important because a family member was going to come out after the cabinets were installed; we were going to install the tiles. This is the only day he could come out, he lives five hours away and he was going to visit us and do the tiles at the same time, so it was a favor for us. We asked them if it was going to work out and they said yes. We get a call to give them the key to the house, I asked them when I was there, did you get all the supplies and asked them over and over again. Then we get a call, four days later, two days before the project was supposed to be done and they told us they can’t come out, we have to come out a week later and we said we can’t we needed the time to do the tiles so he sits and researches and so they sent out a guy on Easter which was horrible, in my opinion. The owner probably told them something to make it sound like it was all us, but it wasn’t our fault and in my opinion he should have got another contractor or something. They go on Easter, they do the job, he said the job was complete. I went to the house, it was a mess, there were sawdust all over the floor in the house, the cabinets were filthy, the doors didn’t shut or open, handles were missing and one of the cabinets were missing. They were not completed in any way. Inside the cabinets were all popped up and there were holes in them from them mistakenly putting them up incorrectly. I called them and said I would not pay them the rest of the money and the job is done. He said well, I was going to call you and tell you, you need do another cabinet. The vanities I the master bathroom looked great except apparently during the mix up or what was going on they did not charge us to install those vanity and they didn’t ask for the money either. They just kept saying they lost money on this job, all this and it is not my fault that this happened. I signed a contract and this is what I need to pay. They did not measure the cabinets correctly; there was a huge gap from the ceiling. So they had to correct the damage on that around the cabinet and they had to order some more cabinets. At this point I still don’t like them but I need them to come out and they look nice but it is not what I would have installed. I would have paid the extra money to make it looks nice because it is a nice house. Meanwhile, it took another two weeks or them to come out with a new a cabinet. They came out with the new cabinet, installed the handles and they left. It is still not functioning. It is still a mess. I had to send them out two more times to the job correctly, constant arguing on the phone how they were ripped off and they didn’t get full amount of labor; it is not my fault. It’s their fault for is poor management and they can’t expect me to pay for something that they said this is how much you are paying. Apparently right now, they are called skins, or what completes the cabinets on the sides instead of bare wood and it was purchased and it never was put on the equipment that I needed to purchase and what they said, as per their contract, what I signed, it is for the stuff that was on the paperwork that they were supposed to install and they didn’t do that, they can get their money and then I could order the skins later and then they charge me but I can’t prove that. I called them for the last two weeks, no one called me back. I finally got a hold of the owner, he says a $100 for the skin but he would not have his contractor come out and then that was a couple of days ago. He stayed in contact yesterday to let me know he could order them, meanwhile we did get the tile put in right away, like they were supposed to, we still have no grout around the edge of the cabinets and the little spacing in the tile aren’t finished because the tiles are not done. Up until the time of install they were very helpful but it is the minute the job went into effect that they were not. So I feel like the mess up that they made on the install pricing, we paid for that two times already because we are still not done.
