    MICHELE'S NAILS
I go there all the time. The girls are good and they're very nice but they are all Vietnamese and they do speak English enough that you can communicate with them. They have eco-friendly house and their prices has been maybe a little lower than the other places around here. We've been happy with their service. They also do waxing and massage. You can do neck and shoulder massage. If you have an appointment, you just walk in and they just take you in right away.

I paid about $300 for cut and multicolor. He is expensive though. He is excellent with color and cut. It is a nice place to relax near the beach and is more like an upscale saloon. I wouldn’t recommend it for a quick haircut but if one is going to go out and wants their hair done up or for a wedding or prom, I would recommend them to this place. He is really good at doing color.

    SWEET 1017 HAIRDRESSING
I've been going there for probably about 25 years and would rate them an "A" on everything. I can depend on the service. It's always very well done. It's adjusted, as needed, depending on what I'd like.

They use the color that does not have amonia.  The guy that cuts my hair is extremely kind, and professional.  He can look at you and tell what is the best cut for you.  He is also willing to take direction.

    California Hair and Nails
It's not a fancy place. It's a little Asian-run place but they're clean and nice. I have the worst hair and she's the only one that's been able to cut it nice. I know this sounds weird but they only charge 10 bucks for a hair cut and it's really good. You can make an appointment or you can walk in because there's enough people working there that you never really have to wait. They're inexpensive and nice. The only thing I don't like is that they speak Vietnamese in front of you. If you call, they can get you right in and if you ask them for certain kind of cut, they know what to do. There's never any problem getting in.

    Medusa Hair Salon
I go there about every eight weeks. I think anybody who gets to speak to their front desk help would find this guy amazing, super courteous, always very positive and happy. You feel happy when you go there. The people there are real nice. It is just a nice place to go if you have to get your hair cut and spend money. Their price is average. I think it is a typical salon pricing. Their punctuality is pretty good. You do not have to wait long. They are professional but fun.

    G-Spa Massage Clinic
I received Pkg #5, The Everything Massage, from Giovanna, my and quot;personaland quot;, traveling, massage therapist; she arrived promptly to set up shop so as to begin my session on time, I awaited her arrival with bated breath assured that she'd know exactly how to soothe my aching lower back. She went right to work, her magic hands kneading every necessary muscle to address my problem. Our session is a non-stop, all-in-one physical, mental, emotional, as well as, social therapy. You do not want to miss this extraordinary experience; book today!

    Fantastic Sams
I came into Fantastic Sam's for a simple hair cut. My hair before I got it cut was at the shoulder blade level. Nancy cut my hair. It was a bad experience followed by getting overcharged. Her nails very long and she is clumsy. She poked me in the eyes several times and I was very much afraid she would poke me in the eyes with her scissors! She started by washing my hair in freezing cold water and I had to ask her to use warm water which she made hot instead of warm and it was very uncomfortable. The shampoo was awful and my hair looked dull and lifeless after it was blowdried. During the haircutting process, Nancy pulled a little too h****** the hair and took a long time to do very little. During blow drying, she held the blow dryer in one place too long and it got very hot.  It seemed like she was not experienced. She asked if I wanted layers without disclosing that they cost extra and I naively said yes. She also cut the bangs too short and I now look like a little kid. When I called back the next day to get a explanation why it my hair cut cost $34 without tip, she said it is because it is long. I asked what their definition of long is and she said anything past the shoulders. When you first get there and see their prices at the counter, they have 3 different prices for short, medium and long hair with no definition of what short, medium and long is. I think I was overcharged. If you go on Yelp.com, you will see other women complaining that they felt they got overcharged also. They deliberately won't define what long is on paper so they can overcharged. Nancy said during the service that they have been at that location 7 years and they were very slow and on the verge of closing until Costco moved in next door and they are glad for the extra traffic and customers. More people to rip off! Geez. I would never go here again.

    Sport Clips
I like them. It is a sports themed environment and everyone is pretty energetic and friendly. They include scalp and shoulder massages with the hair cut, which is pretty cool. While they are shampooing my hair they put a hot towel on my face and massage my scalp. Then when I go back to the chair, they put a hand massager on my shoulders. It is pretty cool. It is actually a chain. I plan to continue using them.

    SOLANGE PROFESSIONAL NAIL CARE
I have been going to Solange for pedicures for over 10 years and since I just reupped my Angie's List membership, checked to see if she had any ratings.  Since no one has rated her, I feel it my duty to let everyone know how professional and excellent her services are.  A pedicure will take approximately 1.25 hours.  Since most people know what a pedicure consists of I will just say that before I first went to Solange many many years ago, I had painful toenails.  I had been getting pedicures at an el-cheapo shop that got you in and out in about 20 minutes.  Solange has taught me that a good pedicure should take at least an hour and it is VERY important that your toenails are properly cut and shaped.  If not, they will be painful.  Her pedicures end with a fantastic massage after which she will paint your toes with any color polish you desire.

She also does reflexology which is basically an incredibly relaxing massage of the feet.  There's more to it than that but let's just leave it at this:  she's a master at it.

Although Solange is at the upper end of the scale for what she charges, my highest compliment to Solange is this:  You always walk out of her establishment feeling like you got MORE than you paid for.
