    I'm always impressed with these guys. They have made the whole process of getting your car emission checked easy. They have really nailed down the process. I received a reminder notice in the mail along with a coupon days before I received anything from the DMV. Plus they are super friendly. Also, one small thing, but I think shows their attention to detail. Once my car was done and I finished paying I walked out the front door to find my car parked nose out. This made is easy for me to leave.

    Customer beware if you have an issue caused by this repair shop and expect it to be handled with honesty, integrity, follow through, and the mentality of making it right. Based on my experience, Willy's Auto FAILS and DISAPPOINTS! Don't be fooled by the smile and the appearance of family. The test of a business' ethics (and owners individual character) is how they respond when their service and/or product is the root cause of the issue. How do they handle the incident? Do they make it right or do they blame the customer? Do they shift blame or do they own up to their error? Do they state requirements for a refund, and when met by the customer, make new requirements/moving the goal post? After months of repeated visits, distress, frustration, inconvenience in rearranging ones work schedule, days without a car, payment of work based on Willy's advisement, and additional expense to self, I share the below timeline of an incident I experienced with Willy's Auto Service which took place over a 10 month period. I wonder if I had paid for work my car did not need. Based on the following incident, I've experienced dishonesty, and have been misled by Willy's Auto Service in this business matter. 2/19/18 - Initial visit to Willy's Auto. Per his advisement, torque rod, engine mount front right removed and replaced right side of engine compartment, lower & TROQ, front right axle removed and install or remove and replace-right side. 2/19/18 - Advised by Willy of low front brake pads and rotor. 5/11/18 - Based on Willy's advisement, front brake pads and rotors replaced. 5/18/18 - Informed Willy there was grinding noise coming from car since the front brake pads and rotors were replaced. Test drove car with Willy. Willy heard and acknowledged the noise. 7/10/18 - Re-do of front brake pads after several phone calls and trips to Willy's Auto Service between 5/11/18 - 7/10/18 for existing noise. Problem still not resolved. Willy was adamant that it was not the front brakes. Said it was the rear brakes. 7/31 - Upon Willy's advisement, rear brake pads were replaced. Upon Willy's advisement, the rear rotors were also shaved. Problem still not resolved. 9/4/18 - Re-do of front rotors and right axle based upon Willy's advisement. 9/13/18 - Placed another call to Willy informing him he hadn't resolved the problem. This time captured grinding noise on video. Willy listened to video/audio recording of the noise. 9/17/18 - Upon Willy's advisement, car was dropped off at his place of business so that he can take it home and test it in the morning since the car would be cold. Kept car from 9/17/18 - 9/19/18. 9/19/18 - Received a call from Willy advising me that he replaced the rear rotors. Payment was declined due to the fact that I did not authorize the work. Also, there was no guarantee that this would resolve the problem. Problem still not resolved. Problem was worse, louder, and frequent. Prior to the rear brake job he performed, the noise was intermittent. But as the weeks went by, the grinding noise was heard every day. 10/14/18 - Willy was contacted via text that the problem still existed. Also sent him a couple of new video/audio recordings of the noise. Willy was asked to consider a solution. After months of paying Willy for work based on all of his advisement, the problem exists. I recommended the car be taken to a brake specialist for repair at Willy's expense. Willy responded to call him the next day. 10/15/18 - Came to an agreement he would pay for repairs if it was determined his parts were the cause of the noise, and parts were returned to him. 10/31/18 - It was determined by Lexus of Westminster the grinding noise was coming from the back brakes/rotors, and that the parts used were not quality. In addition, plug was missing from rear rotor. Lexus made repairs. I incurred cost of $587.47. Willy now insists that there was nothing wrong with the rear brakes. Now says the problem is the front brakes, (contradicting his statement on 7/10/18) and that "Lexus will tell you anything" 11/5/18 - Informed Willy there hasn't been any grinding noise from the rear since his rear brakes/rotors were replaced by Lexus, and that I have the parts he requested in boxes. Willy changes refund agreement and says "sure bring me the parts I have to send them to the parts store to look at them and we'll go from there". No mention of a full refund. This was a change by him from what was initially agreed upon. I attempted to contact him to confirm if he will have a check for the full amount the next morning. No response. 11/6/18 - Followed up with Willy. Still no response. Called office, spoke with Willy in an attempt to follow up on our agreement, states he will not reimburse the full amount of $587.47. Willy disconnects phone call. No resolution for a full refund to date.

    Very well. While the price seemed a bit high based on searches for the same service, the shop is really clean, well run and the staff most pleasant. I loved that I could make an appointment online and when I arrived, they were ready for me. It only took 15 - 20 minutes and they have a great waiting area, perfect for all ages!

    Excellent. I used to hate smog checks. I found Just Smogs several years ago and it turned my opinion around. It was easy, quick and professional. I then got a hybrid and didn’t need a smog check for 6 years, but when it came due this year, I knew just where to go. It was just as great as I remembered. Wish all service was like Just Smogs.

    My car originally failed the visual portion of the test due to an part that was not up to par. The team thoroughly explained what needed to be done, helped me source the part and offered to put the part in for me at a very reasonable cost. Great experience!

    For a few years, this is the only smog check place my family uses. The actual work being performed is the same as anywhere, it's the rest of the experience that sets them apart. First, they have a decent waiting area, There are a couple of different areas actually, one where you can hear the music playing (today was reggae), another with a TV and magazines. Second, the restroom was immaculate (enough said). Finally, they take appointments for their service. But get this, not only do they take appointments, they actually honor the appointment time! I've been in there when there were a few walk- in clients ahead of me, when I checked in on time, my car was next to be brought around.

    A really well run business. You can go as a walk in, but the online appointment is easy to do. Not only do they take appointments, they honor them! You check in with the office up front, they drive your car around to the shop in the back, and when they are done, they bring the car back around. The whole process is less than half an hour. They have a nice (for a mechanic shop) waiting area, with magazines, a TV, and a play area for kids. They even provide a charging station for phones with all of the different plug in cords. I take all of my family's cars there now.

    Very well. I made an appointment online and they were ready for me when I came in. The online promo stated that it takes about 20 minutes and sure enough, my car was ready in about 20 minutes. Just Smog is very professional with a nice waiting area to relax in while my car was being serviced. I would recommend them to anyone.

    I have been going to him for about 18 years. He is really honest. His prices are really competitive. He takes American cars and European cars. I have always been happy with his work. It was very reasonable to what I thought it was going to be. Finding a good mechanic is though but he is one.

    They were professional and arrived on time. I gave a B only because I can still see (slightly) the where the chip in the windshield was repaired. Their price was competitive, but not the least expensive, and the visibility of the repair is likely on different from any other repair service.
